Matthew gave a great tour!!! Highly recommend. He provided video clips and audio to support his commentary. These were Taylor clips I had not previously seen or knew about. Matthew is a huge fan and it shows in his tour. He also provides historical context for the neighborhoods we traversed. When we went to Cornelia street he even had video to show us what Taylor's townhouse looks like inside because he had been invited into the building. We had to leave the tour early, unfortunately. Matthew followed up with us to provide links, context and pictures so we could visit sites on our own. I highly recommend doing this tour instead of trying to see Taylor sites on your own.

Great Food! Great Stories!
Jessie was an excellent tour guide. She knew so many interesting historical facts. The foods she selected were very good. The vendors are family owned businesses making this more special. It was great touring Chelsea Market, Pier 57, and the Highline. Definitely a "must do" tour.

Best view of Mahattan's landscape. Narrated by a pro with great insights.
This was no ordinary "boat trip." The Manhattan III is a new yacht with a classic 1920's design. The windows allowed full visibility and yet protection from the elements. For a few moments we had a downpour and were thrilled to be "inside." The cruise was billed as an architectural tour and lived up to it's name. The narrator was excellent and literally "covered the waterfront and beyond." She verbally pointed out familar features and functions of buildings and park lands on the maps we were provided. Some views were punctuated with interesting stories of why and how the buildings and areas were built. I'll never look at the Manhattan landscape again without appreciating how disctinctive it is. A drink and a snack were provided in the fee. This was so much more interesting than the big boat cruises we've had in the past! I'd highly recommend this experience even if you have no architectual training.

Fantastic Half Day Tour
My daughter and I really enjoyed this half day tour. Our guide Matthew was fantastic and made the experience all the more enjoyable. He is very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to meet the needs of those of us in the group. The tour was approximately 5 hours and we visited most of the important sites to see. The boat ride was also amazing and included incredible views of the Statue of Liberty and the NYC skyline. Highly recommended this tour!

The Manhattan skyline tells the story of American architecture, from early skyscrapers to contemporary glass towers. Fortunately, the range of New York City architecture tours, led by experts versed in history and design, is as wide as the city’s many stylistic influences. Walking tours tend to focus on one topic, such as art deco architecture or the Gilded Age mansions of Fifth Avenue. For a broader perspective, boat tours help you take in the island’s ever-changing panoramas. Whether you’re a design enthusiast or simply curious about the city’s built environment, these tours showcase NYC’s architectural achievements.
