What are people saying about New Orleans

A beautiful day in the swamp.
We had a wonderful tour with Captain Scott on a beautiful day in the swamp. We saw loads of Alligators and Turtles plus adorable raccoons and a not so adorable snake. I had my grandkids, ages 6 and 5, with me and it was a great adventure for all three of us.

First time visitor
My husband and I enjoyed this amazing museum. I almost didn’t add it to my list of places to visit but I am so glad we went. We got there around 1:30pm and explored for 3 hours. We still had more to see. I plan to come back on my next visit but I will make sure to get there early.

New Orleans history comes to life
We were picked up from the hotel next door (note if you book through viator, pickup options are limited). Driver (Gary K) introduced himself and asked folks if they had specific things they wanted to see/ learn so he could customize the trip and details, which was great. The amount of information he shared about this great city was incredible. Not only did he share interesting historical facts like why the city is called New Orleans, he also had all sorts of pop culture references-for example pointing out Anne Rice’s houses and the bar where NCIS New Orleans was filmed. The trip was more of a two way conversation than a lecture. He brought the city and his history to include the impact of Karina to life. Great ride!!

Women of New Orleans
Learned a lot about powerful, spiritual women who shaped New Orleans. Where they lived, their achievements, their impact on communities, and how their legacy continues to influence New Orleans today. We went in January when it was a little cold, but the weather was nice.
