What are people saying about Netherlands

A must do but book outside peak hours!
Arriving at This is Holland to depart for Keukenhof was very disorganised and crowded. However once boarded (9am departure) and arrived at Keukenhof, we loved it! Incredible gardens and beautiful flowers! A must see!! We didn't stay forever due to wanting to spend time in Amsterdam so headed back early on the bus which was great having departure every 30 minutes. We could see how issues returning by bus to Amsterdam later in the day could result in problems and long queues so suggest booking early and travelling back early.

Fabulous tour with amazingly knowledgeable guide Rob. Learned so much and had so much fun! The cheese tasting was beyond words! Amazing! No idea you could go inside of a working windmill! Everything about it was a 10! Highly recommend! You’ll be lucky to get Rob as your tour guide! And Glen as your bus driver!

The Keukenhof and Zaanse...
The Keukenhof and Zaanse Schans Windmills Guided Day Trip is a convenient, time-saving way to experience two of the Netherlands’ top highlights—Keukenhof Gardens, famous for its vibrant seasonal tulips, and Zaanse Schans, known for its historic windmills and Dutch crafts—all in a single day without worrying about logistics. Travelers appreciate the ease, scenic beauty, and cultural touches like cheese tastings and clog demonstrations, but often note that the schedule can feel rushed, especially at Zaanse Schans, and that some tours are more self-guided than fully guided. Overall, it’s ideal for first-time visitors or those short on time who want a comfortable overview rather than an in-depth exploration.

Food glorious food tour!
Don’t eat beforehand! We did the 10am tour with Roman- he really was a super guide and made the whole experience so enjoyable with his interesting facts and stories about Amsterdam. What’s more, he took the time to have individual chats with us all and somehow managed to remember all of our names throughout the tour. We visited a good variety of food providers with very generous portions of everything to taste, over about four hours in total. It really was a great experience and great value for money. But it was Roman that made the whole experience so special, thanks Roman!

Netherlands tours focus on art museums, history, waterways, and natural landscapes in a country known for its vibrant cities and natural beauty. Along with dozens of expert-led Amsterdam explorations, you can find Netherlands tours that showcase the small country’s windmills, porcelain, and tulips fields in spring, or more food-focused excursions that let you sample smoked sausage, creamy Gouda, pickled herring, stroopwafels, and plenty of Heineken.
