My husband and I took a 45 minute private canal cruise with our skipper Rocco.
We were welcomed onboard with an array of beverages, snacks and a blanket to cuddle up in. Our skipper was very knowledgeable and shared stories of the canals history as we passed landmarks.
He also took lovely pictures for us.
My only regret was not doing the full 90 minute cruise so I recommend planning the extra time to do so.

We had the best time on our canal ride. Our boat captain was so kind and knowledgeable. He made sure that we were completely comfortable (dry and warm), and provided us with the romantic history of the Amsterdam bridges. We also ordered a bottle of champagne which made the cruise even more enjoyable. Highly recommend.

We had a spectacular evening enjoying the views of Amsterdam from the canals. Normally I get motion sick on boats but because it was just us in the boat and the river/canal is so smooth I felt fine, even after some drinking. The guide was incredibly friendly and informative. My wife peppered him with many questions and he was happy to answer them all. But when we wanted to just sit and enjoy each other and Amsterdam, he would play soft music without us even asking. He had a great understanding of the vibe we wanted. 90 minutes was a great amount of time, especially around sunset so we could get lots of pictures from the boat during the golden hour. The guide could tell us the history of a lot of the buildings and local architecture. There were so many wonderful snacks too. Overall I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

This was the most incredible experience. I surprised my now-girlfriend with this boat ride and asked her to be my girlfriend while on the boat. We were crying the whole time. The tour guide was so kind and supportive. He took photos of us, shared romantic stories, played soft music, and gave us plenty of privacy. I paid extra for roses and Polaroid pictures, which I definitely recommend to make it even more romantic. There were snacks and blankets provided. This tour is worth every penny! It was our first time visiting Amsterdam and I would highly recommend booking this private tour for all couples.

We enjoyed our canal tour with Valentine Dirk so much! He was extremely knowledgeable and very sweet! The boat was beautiful and prepared in case rained! I was confused why our tour was so much more expensive than the advertised price and disappointed in the small bottle of Prosecco! Price was my only complaint as it seemed twice the advertised price! Other than that, the experience was lovely!

We offer two tour options: 45-minute- and 90-minute, each with different pricing. You booked the 90-minute tour, which offers double the tour duration for only 60% more in cost, providing great value for a more in-depth tour. The price is set per person, with a minimum of two people required for booking. We have opted for a per-person rate as sometimes we have private groups of more than two who would like to do a tour together. We apologize for any confusion and will review our pricing information on this platform so it is always clear for our customers.
Regarding the size of the Prosecco bottle, we take your feedback seriously and will consider this for future improvements. Currently, we provide a small bottle of Prosecco for both the 45-minute and 90-minute tours. Additionally, guests can purchase a large bottle if they prefer. This initiative is important to us as it helps to reduce waste associated with larger bottles.
While we're working to eliminate waste, we noticed that previously, when we offered larger bottles with our tours, most of our customers did not finish them, resulting in waste.

We took this cruise on 14 July. This was our introduction to Amsterdam, and it was very enjoyable. Light refreshments were provided and the boat is electric so it was quiet. Our captain was very knowledgeable and friendly. He pointed out many interesting buildings and other sights along the canal like old locks. He is well versed in the history of the area. This was a very interesting and enjoyable experience. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a good introduction to Amsterdam.
