This day trip was the perfect way to experience the natural beauty of Holland. Our guide, Igor, was amazing – knowledgeable, friendly, and made us (two ladies traveling together) feel completely comfortable. He shared fascinating insights into Zaanse Schans, Volendam, and Giethoorn, and his passion for the places we visited was evident.
The boat tour in Giethoorn was particularly magical, offering stunning views of this charming village. If you’re planning this trip, I highly recommend booking it with Igor. He truly made the experience unforgettable!

The allocation of time for tour at each
location was short due to the amount of travel to each site.

We had a great experience with our driver Noval. He had such a good attitude and energy and was very knowledgeable. It was a long day but the stopping points were interesting and we didn’t feel rushed at each stop. he gave us enough time and suggestions in each place. He was very attentive and made sure if we were running a bit late from our bathroom visit to wait for us. At the end of the tour back to Amsterdam it started raining and he was so kind to drop off the 2 families at their hotel so they didn’t get rained on. This was so generous and made us feel very cared for. I 100% recommend this tour and especially Noval. Our favorite was the town of Geinthoorn with the charming canal boat ride which lasted about 1 hour. And we got an hour to walk afterwards and have coffee etc. I can imagine it will be too crowded in the summer time but for April it was good.

We had a wonderful time on our tour! It was wonderful to see the authentic villages of Holland on the outskirts of Amsterdam. This was honestly the best part of our trip to Amsterdam, and we are so glad that we did this. Each of the villages is charming, informative, and picturesque. The tour guide, who is very friendly, local, and informative, has also designed the trip in an order that avoids the crowds very well. I would highly recommend this trip, our trip would have been far from complete without this excursion!

Our tour guide Adonis picked us up on time at the meeting point and then we start our tour. We visited the Giethoorn Center in the north of the Netherlands known as the Venice of North, the village is beautiful and also we had a 1 hour guided boat tour. We also visited the Zane Schans the most picturesque traditional 17th century village where houses and the collection of the windmills, learn how they produce world famous Dutch cheeses. Also we visited the Voledam Haven where you can see brightly painted wooden houses and see their colorful regional dress. Highly recommended it.

Two days before your scheduled tour, we contacted you via the Viator message portal to inform you that, unfortunately, the tour needed to be rescheduled due to the minimum participant requirement not being met. We sent this message on time and via the official communication channel to guarantee its delivery to you.
You did not respond to our message until the day of the original booking. When you did reply, you inquired about rescheduling for the following day. We promptly responded, confirming that we would check availability. We followed up to confirm that we can accommodate you on the new date, as requested.
Despite our efforts, you then informed us that you had booked another activity. We respect your choice, but we want to point out that you made this decision before consulting us, even though we were trying to fulfill your request for free.
We would like to emphasize the following:
- All communications were conducted via Viator’s official message portal.
- We responded promptly and made every effort to accommodate your change.
- The tour change was communicated with sufficient notice before your original booking date.
- You were not entitled to a refund under Viator’s terms and conditions due to the lack of timely response.
That said, we still took the initiative to work with Viator to ensure that a refund was processed for you, despite the circumstances. Viator also reached out to you regarding this matter and your review, but we did not receive a response.

The 3 villages we visited represented the charming history of the Netherlands. Absolutely beautiful!
The tour group was small and luckily the stops were not crowded. The trip felt like being with new friends.
The crowning touch to the day was our tour guide Adonis. He is so knowledgeable and personable. He made the trip so fun and relaxing.

Our guide, Adonis, made our trip fun and entertaining. We were in a group of six so you didn’t feel like you were just a number on a huge bus tour with 50 others. The three locations were full of history and culture. We would definitely recommend this tour and guide!!!

Rough start because instructions to meet weren’t clear. However, I called the company and they connected with the driver who came to find us. Loved this tour! Our tour guide was THE BEST! He was knowledgeable, personable and patient. We saw everything we expected and learned so much! He answered our questions without hesitation and made us feel welcome.
