So fun. I was hesitant because of how much it cost, but the area is fun to walk through, the host was incredible, I've never had such a perfect and fresh stroopwafel, exactly the way I wanted it. So much laughing and joking and learning. I would recommend this to anyone. Kids. Adults. Groups. Had an absolute blast

It was really fun. I recommend the activity for friends and the family. It’s also in a great location being located in the Albert Cuyf market.

Julia was amazing! Greeted everyone with a smile and we had a ball getting to make our own Stroopwaffles! It was very easy to follow her directions and they were delicious.

We had a great time! Definitely a touristy thing to do, but we had a blast! And who doesn’t love some fresh Stroopwafels! Thanks for the great instruction Álvaro!

Was a fun activity but there were too many participants for the space and equipment. Class should have been half the size. The provider should update the address in the details and provide landmarks and/or description of store front to get to the right location. We spent an hour trying to get to the right location. We called the activity provider and viator which were of little help.

This was actually a lot of fun and the instructor, Nicola, was adorable. She really engaged with everyone on a personal level.

We tried to reschedule on short notice, but despite multiple attempts to message the vendor and calling them, I never received a reply. Even a reply to disapprove my request would have been appreciated. We went with Flagship Stroopwafel Experience across from Ann Frank House and appreciated their customer service and ease of contact.

This was clearly based on creating profits vs quality. All ingredients were premixed and dried egg vs fresh was used. Plastic spoons sat in liquid syrup for hours releasing microplastics Into the syrup. Final product tasted cheap and not good. Facility was extremely hot and they didn’t have anyone wash hands before starting

Julia and her team were incredible. They right us the history and made the whole experience a memorable one. Amazing!

This was such a fun little class. Our instructor Talia and her assistant were very well prepared with all the materials and ingredients, including aprons and gloves. Talia’s instructions were clear and easy to understand. She made sure to make each person feel welcome and that our dough and stroopwaffles were being made correctly. She also encouraged us to eat them while they were warm, as that’s the best way to enjoy one. Making the stroopwaffles was very simple and they turned out delicious.

Great value, well organised, fun experience. Delicious stroopwafels to take away, made with your own hands. Janet was a great host. Drinks also included. Go! You won't regret it

Fun and quick way to learn how to make the
famous Stroopwafels. This was a unique experience and worth the cost!

Wonderful class. Janat was welcoming and helpful! She gave a brief history. Located right behind the market

This workshop was perfect for my kids, who are 5 and 7. With the exception of manning the hot waffle press and cutting the wafel, they wer able to do everything else themselves.
Emma_W, May 2026
Excellent workshop, great location and very fun. My tip would be, don’t over decorate your stroopwaffles as the only downside to this workshop is not enough time for chocolate to set.

Lots of fun and delicious. Doesn’t take the full hour so a quick delightful thing to do while in Amsterdam!

Come hungry. Our teacher was engaging and knowledgeable and this was her first solo teaching. Sabine was fantastic

Super fun activity. Better than expected. My husband and adult children and I all had a great time! Great way to spend an hour together visiting Amsterdam. Bonus that it is located in a fun location close to a cool street market and mot far from great shopping!

It is really cool to see how strip waffles are made and to make them ourselves. It was an overall good experience. The class was very full though. We had to do lots of side stepping with hot waffles. Just be aware that if you have a full class, the vibes won’t be as relaxed.
Julie_T, May 2026
Such a cute experience. Well located in the market so you can shop before or after. Everyone gets to make two stroopwafels. They’ve made this a very efficient process so it’s not like you have to wait in long lines or anything. I saw several kids there so looked very family friendly— but help them with the hot caramel.

This was a fun waffle making class. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was nice hearing personal stories from Morris about his grans cooking. We left with large stroopwaffles, having had cups of tea and coffee and a laugh.
We all enjoyed this class.

Jackie_G, May 2026
This was a wonderful experience presented by 2 college students with a great personalities. Highly recommend. Somewhat difficult to locate since it sits behind the daily market.
David_B, May 2026
This was a great experience. I’ve loved stroopwaffels for the longest time so I said why not learn how to authentically make them? The process was smooth and I had a chance to meet some nice people. Vince was great. I definitely recommend this class!
