The tour was very well thought out including the current new exhibit on the Color yellow as well as the permanent exhibit following VaGogh’s life. It was interesting to see his family represented too. I liked the focus on a few pairings either time to see all we wanted to see.

Beware!!! I got ripped off! Paid more than $50 for each ticket, double the price if you buy ticket direct from the museum's website and on other platforms such as Klook and Get Your Guide.

Excellent but must buy tickets in advance to avoid lines. Take advantage of the free lockers for coats, purses etc. Plan time to linger at special paintings, for there are many. On-site restaurant is pricey and few choices. Audio tour is well worth the expense. Very enjoyable!

They didn’t send the tickets in advance like usual, instead it was a download voucher pdf that didn’t go anywhere. The documents within said “this is not your ticket.” It was so unusual that the guards at the museum would not allow me and my friend to enter using the app nor email documents. They said I had been subject to a scam.

We had a time entry ticket and got in a few minutes early. Loved the coat lockers. We had the audio device and map so it was not hard to follow. Just a little crowded in areas and people did not want to move along. Not much seating should you be tired and want to rest and observe. Many museums have benches but this one could use a few. Their restaurant/cafe was very nice with a good selection and service was wonderful.

The full tour followed his life from his earliest days. It showed his artistry maturing. It showed the influences and relationships that affected his talent. Towards the end, it included letters he exchanged with his brother. It reflected a deeply personal view of his philosophy about his art and his life.

Viator App did not work

I paid for 2 tickets to Van Goh museum. The Victor tickets that were emailed did not work. The ticket person at museum said it happens frequently. We missed our appointment, on phone with Viator, no help. Had to purchase tickets myself at Museum. I should get full refund fr Viator.

Getting the actual barcode was very difficult The gate keepers were extremely helpful and commented it is always a problem with Viator. Finally after phone calls got our vouchers with actual barcode for one of us. The museum let my husband in without his ticket

Be sure to allow enough time for exhibits as the museum closes at 5:00. We had tickets for 3:30, but that was not enough time to view the exhibits unrushed. Bags and coats must be checked into complimentary lockers, but the digital system was difficult to use and did not work properly. (The system is a good one, but there were problems with it "renting" and "canceling rental," thereby wasting valuable time.
