Hop aboard your boat near Rijksmuseum or Amsterdam's Central Station and head out for a cruise of the Amsterdam canals. Sip on Heineken beer or wine and sample typical Dutch snacks as your captain leads you through the city’s famous canals.
Listen to commentary and improve your knowledge of the city as you pass by iconic monuments such as the Anne Frank House and the Jordaan neighborhood, and alongside the houseboat museum in the Prinsengracht, one of the city's three main canals. Continue past the cute shops at 9 Little Streets (Negen Straatjes) and busy Leiden Square and cruise past some of the city's more unusual attractions.
After your 1.5 hour tour, head back to your departure point with an increased knowledge of Amsterdam’s history and geography.

- Due a lot of traffic at the dock, I can't wait more than 5 minutes. Please make sure you are at the dock 10 minutes before departure.
- The tour is a historical canal cruise, it is not a booze cruise. So if you are looking for a bachelor party boat or any other booze cruise, this is not the cruise for you.
- Captain Jack is collaboration between friends. Captain Jack is not himself on the boat.
- Due Health regulations (regarding food) animals are not allowed (service animals excluded).
- A fairly big step needs to be taken to get in the boat. Of course we will assist you.
- Beware all my boats are open. So when it rains, you can get wet. But rebooking with rain is always possible
- I always try to give the best tour possible (5*). But in rare occasion things don't go as you and me would like. Please let me know asap. Either direct or send me an email of text. I will contact you.
- This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate

Excellent tour. Got to see the Drunken Houses, houseboats, and The Red Light District, and a lot of architecture. Captain Lon gave us lot of info on the history of Amsterdam. We also had beautiful weather for our cruise (thank you Mother Nature!). Everyone in our group felt it was the highlight of our stay in Amsterdam.

Our tour guide Bo (or Beau, not sure how to spell his name) was phenomenal. He provided us with extensive knowledge of the history of Amsterdam while allowing us to view some of the best sights Amsterdam has to offer. 10/10 would recommend.

This boat tour was truly the highlight of our trip to Amsterdam! We had so much fun and loved seeing the city from the water. The local perspective made the experience especially memorable—we learned so much and got a wonderful feel for Amsterdam beyond the typical tourist experience.

The guide was great. Two things to be aware of. The boat is open, no cover & the sun has been brutal. Better to go in the AM. Second, when booking be careful. We accidentally chose?? all inclusive. On the boat we found out another couple had made the same mistake. Beware!,

An absolute must when visiting Amsterdam! Captain David was entertaining, sharing facts, telling stories, and answering questions. My 13 year-old daughter took over as Captain, getting pictures at the wheel, making lifetime memories for her!

Jessie was great. A relatively new captain he was personable and gave us a great tour. We got off course due to Pride parade but he kept us informed and made the extra journey quite memorable as we got to see places w wouldn’t have on the standard tour. Brava!

A really informative and relaxed way to see Amsterdam from a different viewpoint. So much more peaceful than touring on foot, and with the knowledge and good humour of our guide Menno, we learned a lot about all sorts of aspects of the city, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
