Hop aboard your boat near Rijksmuseum or Amsterdam's Central Station and head out for a cruise of the Amsterdam canals. Sip on Heineken beer or wine and sample typical Dutch snacks as your captain leads you through the city’s famous canals.
Listen to commentary and improve your knowledge of the city as you pass by iconic monuments such as the Anne Frank House and the Jordaan neighborhood, and alongside the houseboat museum in the Prinsengracht, one of the city's three main canals. Continue past the cute shops at 9 Little Streets (Negen Straatjes) and busy Leiden Square and cruise past some of the city's more unusual attractions.
After your 1.5 hour tour, head back to your departure point with an increased knowledge of Amsterdam’s history and geography.

- Due a lot of traffic at the dock, I can't wait more than 5 minutes. Please make sure you are at the dock 10 minutes before departure.
- The tour is a historical canal cruise, it is not a booze cruise. So if you are looking for a bachelor party boat or any other booze cruise, this is not the cruise for you.
- Captain Jack is collaboration between friends. Captain Jack is not himself on the boat.
- Due Health regulations (regarding food) animals are not allowed (service animals excluded).
- A fairly big step needs to be taken to get in the boat. Of course we will assist you.
- Beware all my boats are open. So when it rains, you can get wet. But rebooking with rain is always possible
- I always try to give the best tour possible (5*). But in rare occasion things don't go as you and me would like. Please let me know asap. Either direct or send me an email of text. I will contact you.

It was ok. The tour guide had a thick accent, couldn’t really understand him that well. The wine was horrible :(. Was a little grossed out with all the guests sticking their hands in the candy jars touching all the snacks (needless to say, didn’t try any of that). The sights along the canal were beautiful, and could easily view most of these things by walking along the quaint streets and bridges. Again, it was ok. I probably wouldn’t do it again.

This canal cruise was incredible! Me and my friend went for my 30th birthday and we had a great time. Captain Joe was a great guide - knowledgeable, funny, and engaging. The price is very well worth it, considering you get snacks and wine if you get that specific ticket.

We really enjoyed our cruise with Dan on a beautiful warm Amsterdam afternoon. The crew furnished cookies, cheese and crackers, licorice! Also a variety of wine, coolers and non-alcoholic beverages . Dan was a fun and interesting captain, we enjoyed his company, definitely recommend.

It's an open boat, goes around to many canals & hits highlights of the city. We enjoyed it very well, a nice relaxing 90 minutes. Only issue was hearing the guide as his voice did not always carry to the front of the boat. He was kind & always willing to answer questions & repeat if we missed a comment. RECOMMEND!

Easy to find and boat was very comfortable with complimentary snacks and drinks! Our skipper Elysan was friendly and shared interesting information. We really appreciated that he stopped under the bridges as he was able in order for us to shake off the umbrellas and get out of the rain for a moment! We enjoyed our tour despite the rain showers!

There are tons of canal tours available. This one was fine - but I am sure no different from any other. They advertised TONS of snacks...not quite. There was a bit of cheese, a few crackers, and licorice. The guide was very knowledgeable.

My adult daughter and I went on the evening cruise with Joe! It was a phenomenal experience. The canal cruise had snacks, drinks, and wine. Joe provided tons of historical information on Amsterdam. It was very entertaining and interesting! Would definitely recommend and would go again!

My tour guide (Leonard?) was really cool, he was knowledgeable about the history of Amsterdam. He pointed out every parts that has a story which made the cruise interesting and engaging. On the cruise there is good selection of snacks (stroopwaffles, licorice, candies, cheese, crackers, etc.) and drinks (alcohol/nonalcoholic), and I forgot to eat enough of it, so make sure you do! Would recommend to people:)

Good guide but bait and switch-I paid for a covered boat with Captain Jack for the canal tour, concerned about rain. The day before the tour when it was too late to change I got a Viator message that all boats the company had on Saturdays are uncovered. It was rainy and cold and uncomfortable.

The cruise was lovely and there were great snacks and drinks but we were seated by the front of the boat and were having a difficult time hearing the guide. And also because of the shape of the boat you couldn’t see much looking towards the front of the boat, you could really only see where you had been and out the sides of the boat. My suggestion is you do this tour is sit in the back close to the captain.

Easy to find by the central station. Observed them cleaning everything thoroughly before we boarded. Comfy, good snacks and beer/wine, knowable skipper and took us on some smaller canals which we enjoyed. Definitely would take this one again. Enjoyed the smaller boat compared to the long one with crowds.

Lovely ride through Amsterdam with plenty of snacks and drinks. Boat was comfortable and well stocked. We enjoyed learning some of Amsterdam’s history and getting answers to questions about the canals and how they operate. Such a pleasant way to spend a few hours. A smaller group size and open air boat was perfect for us- and our Captain was friendly and knowledgeable.
