There are several interesting places to visit in one day. It was great to get out of the city Amsterdam to see the beautiful countryside. We loved visiting old towns and learning about Netherland history. Wybe was one of the best guides I have ever had. He was witty, kind and very educational.

Great excursion, the trip covered beautiful town of Netherlands. Ana Marie was a very fun tour guide, I've learned alot about the Netherlands. She gave us enough time to look around and it's no rush

Fun day and got to see a lot of the Dutch countryside. Carli was a great tour guide! You’ll see and learn a lot about the area!

Long day but worth the energy used. Karli and hassan were great. Good value and great towns / scenes.
Donna_L, Apr 2026
Good trip. Edam was a lovely and we would have liked to.spend more time there. Zaahans was extremely busy. We have been there before and enjoyed it better last time. Loved the cheese tasting and explanation of how cheese was made Voledam was top touristy for us.
Elizabeth was a weakth of knowledge. At the beginning we had difficulty hearing her and wished we either had ear pieces or she had a speaker but after the first stop we did not have any trouble hearing her.

A great day out of the city, was nice to see some of the countryside. Our tour guide Juan was very good. The demonstrations were interesting.

We loved the towns, we visited. I would definitely recommend this tour. Carly was the guide. She was excellent
ROSE_B, Apr 2026
Jackoy the driver and Juan the tour guide are perfect combination. Smooth and safe driver and a tour guide who is knowledgeable of the places we visited. Bus is comfortable. Both have nice sense of humor.
Highly recommended.

It’s a very busy tour. I would have liked going to see windmills first instead of last due to crowds.
Beth_C, Apr 2026
Our tour guide was excellent, but there were too many of us on the tour, at 60. So it was hard to hear our tour guide since they don't use any kind of earphone device. Our driver was excellent and our guide, not sure how her name is spelled, Buba, Italian with excellent English and wonderful knowledge of the people and the land of the Netherlands. She had a hard job to keep the 60 of us on time and aware of our surroundings. She was very good at that, making it look easy. Again, our driver kept us very safe. He is an accomplished bus driver.

The tour guide was very good and knowledgeable. I do a lot of Viator and they often don’t follow the advertised itenarary.
And a Road closure caused last stop to be dropped.

Our tour guide Bea made this tour very interesting. She was very patient and considerate with our group. This tour had 5 stops. You got to see alot, at an extremely reasonable price

A great day trip to check out some of the towns around Amsterdam. There was a good balance of time at each location - our favorites were Edam and Volendam (where you can enjoy a nice lunch along the water)
Donna_K, Apr 2026
Many stops traveling through the countryside, which is very lovely. Be prepared to take a lot of pictures and to be educated in the history of Holland.
Patricia_C, Apr 2026
This is a great tour. Our tour director, Bea, spoke very good English and loud enough for all to hear. We had a wheelchair in our group and she made a special effort to make sure they were ok. She gave us the schedule of what our plans were for the day and followed the schedule and time frame so everyone understood. Our bus driver, Ness, was a good driver and I never worried about his driving.
Tejal_K, Apr 2026
All the places were amazing and tour started and ended on time.
The guide provided us with lot of information
Matthew_S, Apr 2026
Great tour, but could have done with the advertised time at the destinations instead of the guide doing her own thing.
KishoreHaree_G, Apr 2026
It was excellent. The main highlight was our guide Ms.Amna. She was very good in facts, coordination of the group and very charming. It was a great trip.
Valters_S, Mar 2026
Quite a poor value for money and feels like a tourist trap. Very large group - we had a full large bus. The included cheese farm and clog factory visits are simply extremely short demonstrations (that are available in many places for free to general public) followed by overpriced shop visits. The guide was nice and shared some information during the bus ride and during the short walks to meeting points which are followed by free time. However , there were no interesting, detailed tours with an exception of Edam where more of a walk was done. In essence you're paying for a bus transfer with some commentary. You will have a better time going yourself and taking public transport.

We are sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations and that you felt the tour did not offer good value for money. We understand your perception regarding the group size and the structure of the visits. Our excursion is designed as a full-day guided experience that combines transportation between locations with brief cultural introductions, demonstrations, and free time in each stop. Some of these traditional visits, such as the cheese farm and clog workshop, are indeed short demonstrations that are part of the local heritage experience in the region. We are glad to hear that you found the guide friendly and informative during the journey and walking sections, and especially during the visit to Edam. Your feedback is very valuable and will be taken into account as we continue working to improve the balance between guided content, free time, and overall experience for our guests. Thank you for your review.

I loved this tour that visited several countryside areas around Amsterdam. Our guide was fantastic and she told great stories.
Her name was Carly, well thats how its spelled in English but who knows how it was really spelled. She was a great guide and she told us things about how Dutch people think. I loved her story about another Dutch person saying her town Almere has no soul. That sort of insight is something you can only get from a local. I loved the group size was only about 20 people, but thats just the benefit of traveling in shoulder season before the high season starts. My favorite part of this tour was Volendam, I really loved it there. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see a different side to the Netherlands.
Laura_T, Mar 2026
Good trip but all places are pretty touristy. This is the easiest way to visit all these places if you don’t have a car.
Felix_P, Mar 2026
Really good. Carly and Jose were great. Engaging and funny. Volendam is beautiful. The cheese factory is amazing.
Marlene_B, Mar 2026
Carly was a fantastic guide-very informative and organized. She kept us on schedule so we were able to have a decent amount of time at each location. She shared interesting and memorable details about each place.
Kilian_K, Mar 2026
We had an amazing time on the trip - we had Bea as a guide and she did an excellent job sharing information and making sure we saw as much as we could.
Alicia_S, Mar 2026
This was a great tour. It was very relaxed and we saw a lot. There was a nice balance between quiet villages and fun tourist spot. It was nice to get out of the city and be in the countryside for the day. The tour guide was excellent and very kind.
MaryAnne_H, Mar 2026
It was the greatest day. Our guidebooks clearly with a microtone presented the history of the country and people in a clear memorable manner. Each stop was well planned and represented the past and present. Excellent bus driver. We loved our trip it was the best mo ey we spent!
Elizabeth_F, Feb 2026
This was a great experience! Got to see 3 very cool places in a day and got a lot of information from our tour guide Thomas.
Lourdes_F, Feb 2026
The trip started promptly at 9:00 am and our Tour Guide Amanda was missing some enthusiasm, she was a bit monotone for our liking but nonetheless we were excited to start our day. She reminded us about being on time on various occasions which was fine but in Maarken she gave us wrong information. She told us that there was a house that now was a museum and that it was free of charge but it wasn’t even open that day & she also told us of a place we could go to restroom which wasn’t open either. There were 6 people in my group and we arrived 6 minutes late and she proceeded to reprimand us and when we made our second stop made sure to reference that fact that we had been late before. Quite frankly it was unnecessary & a bit embarrassing. Aside from that we made it work and ended having a great day.
James_H, Feb 2026
Didn’t find the tour very enjoyable. It was a long day with too much time in place with little to see or do. Could have been condensed into 4 hours easily.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
We are sorry to hear that the tour did not feel engaging for you and that you found the pacing too long with limited activities in some stops. We understand that different travellers have different expectations regarding how much time should be spent at each location. Our itinerary is designed as a full-day experience that includes transportation between multiple destinations, guided explanations, and free time in each stop. This structure can sometimes feel more relaxed in certain locations depending on the group and logistics of the day. We appreciate your comment, as it helps us continue reviewing how we can improve the balance between travel time, guided content, and free exploration. Thank you for your feedback.

It was a good experience to visit different places within a day. Our tour guide was very friendly and provided a lot of information in each attraction points, we all have had a better understanding about the history and culture of Netherland. Price was reasonable. Just the weather was too cold on that day, would be even better to visit in Summer time.
