This small group canal cruise was a highlight of my trip. Captain Storm was a fantastic host and captain, with a dry sense of humor that made the experience even more fun. He shared great Dutch history and interesting facts along the way, and did an excellent job creating a relaxed, friendly vibe with the group. I did the sunset cruise and highly recommend it. Watching the sun set over the canals and the city was absolutely beautiful. The drinks and snacks were a perfect touch. Definitely worth booking.

A great small group experience with knowledgeable and friendly boat captain, plenty of yummy snacks and beverages. I have done this cruise twice and would recommend to all!
Terrific knowledgeable guide (Steven). Well informed about many subjects and topics. Leaned a lot about Amsterdam society.
Host was very friendly and hospitable. Two hour cruise along the scenic canals. Snacks included wine, beer, cheese, bitterballen - all very nice. Host spent some time talking about Dutch culture, history, influence on the West - After a while it was a bit much about how great the social services are in the Netherlands - even with the high taxes. I was less interested in that TBH , but people seem to like it.
Mare was our boat captain and tour guide. She took great care of everyone and was a wonderful historian and educator of Dutch culture. She even accommodated our collapsible wheel chair which was very helpful and appreciated. There were approximately a dozen guests on board which was comfortable and fun. The hors d’oeuvres and beverages were well done. You won’t go wrong booking this trip.

We had this experience refunded. We did not get anything/ knowledge from this tour guide. Stephan did not do a good job.The company was very apologetic and refunded in 4 days.

Dear TripAdvisor Support Team,
We would like to request an investigation into this review, as the customer explicitly threatened to leave a one-star review unless she received a refund. She never boarded the boat or participated in our cruise.
The customer arrived late, and we waited 10 minutes beyond our scheduled departure time. We make every effort to accommodate late arrivals, but we must also consider the guests who arrive on time and have other plans in Amsterdam.
Our captain called her and offered her the opportunity to board at the next pickup point. She refused, insisting that the amount she had paid entitled her to keep the boat waiting.
During the phone conversation, she became aggressive and repeatedly demanded a refund, stating that she would otherwise leave a one-star review. We ultimately refunded her to de-escalate the situation.
We respectfully ask you to review these circumstances and consider removing the review, particularly given the explicit threat to use a negative rating to obtain a refund.

Well worth the price. Erik was awesome. Went at 7 pm and it was beautiful. Small group made it a lot of fun
The cruise as a small group provided lots of conversation and opportunity to learn about the city. Captain Storm was very knowledgeable and informative.
We purposely choose the 7pm time frame in order to see both day & night of the canals. Captain Eric was so downloading so much information about Amsterdam history and canals. We enjoyed this canal tour very much. Thank you Captain Eric !
Captain Storm was a riot! We laughed, learned, and fell in love with Amsterdam! Fun drinks, tasty bites, and comforts on the canals. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Very nice 2 hr tour with Captain Storm. Good group of 10 people which was much nicer than the big canal boats. Lots of history and information of Amsterdam with very nice wine and cheese. Definitely worth the price and would highly recommend.

This informative Canal Cruise was a great way to end an evening. Mare lead our tour and piloted the boat. She was very informative, down to Earth and humorous. We intentionally were looking for a local, smaller sized group. We definitely found that. There was ample wine and beer with light snacks. We even made a stop to pick up a local snack. I tried both the original and the vegetarian. Hands-down, my favorite was the vegetarian. Definitely will recommend and rebook with the same company in the future.
It was a great tour though the canals. Our guide Stephen was awesome. He knows more stuff than an encyclopedia. He was very entertaining. The boat was very nice and comfortable. Drinks and snacks were great. A fun way to end our trip.

What a great trip. Captain Storm was knowledgeable and funny and his boat was set up with appetizers and the bar was flowing. He took the time to stop and pick up the BEST bitterballen you will ever have. Try to take the nighttime cruise, you won’t be disappointed!
It was a nice tour. We would have preferred more points of interest pointed out and less personal stories. Also, the comments about the US were offensive and incorrect.
