If you've upgraded, your guide will hand you a platter full of Dutch cheese paired with mustard, to nibble on during the ride, plus unlimited beer, wine, and soft drinks.
Your cruise begins by gliding along the Prinsengracht, past landmarks such as the Anne Frank House (Anne Frank Huis), before continuing down the Bloemgracht, Amstel, Herengracht, Singel, and Keizersgracht. Take in sights along the way of key attractions such as as De 9 Straatjes, Rijksmuseum, Skinny Bridge (Magere Brug), and Bloemenmarkt. Your guide points out each landmark, and fills you in on its history.
After soaking up Amsterdam from the water, end back at the starting point, ready to explore further on dry land on your own time.

Excellent way to cruise around on the canals. Our skipper was great - avoided a near crash when a tourist was driving a boat improperly in the canal. The hostesses were wonderful! Very informative and relaxing. My glass was always full and there was plenty of cheese! I would 100% do this canal cruise again.

Very nice ride through canals, learned some interesting things about the city and its history. It wasn’t really easy to locate the outfitter, because the reservation didnt specify which outfitter, and the boat departed from a different canal than the advertised check-in point. Staff from multiple outfitters were helpful in pointing us in the right direction

Definitely not as pictured. Thought this would be a more upmarket boar road but in fact very tacky. No tables laid like in the photo with flowers and table cloths but bare minimal with cheese plate and cheap wine. Very disappointing.

Lovely cruise on the canals. We opted for no cheese and drinks (we aren’t drinkers) and it was still a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend!

The boat was not like the one in the advertised photo with u shaped seating…instead it was multiple 4 person tables. The Wine was not drinkable!!! Too many people. We did a boat cruise 3 years ago that was lovely—-this time it was awful

Excellent canal tour, got to see a good bit and learn about Amsterdam history all in about an hour, guides were friendly and very knowledgeable, wine and Dutch cheese was wonderful

Finding the meeting point was challenging for us, but we asked for help and everyone on the docks was great! They knew right away which your it was even though the listing didn’t say it specifically.

I booked based off of the pictures so our assumption was that we would be put on a nice looking boat, with the cushions and stuff. Only to find, we were put on a boat that didn't look like the pictures or aesthetically pleasing. I queried this and showed pictures of the booking to various team members/guides and they all told me I was on the right boat. It was disappointing as we were celebrating my friend's birthday. I only gave this a 1 star because I cannot go any lower. I enjoyed the the guides, they were upbeat and friendly!

Nice boat ride down the Canal boat does not look exactly o the photo. No flowers or table cloth.
They had another boat from the same company that had an open roof and flowers. This one was closed roof, which is nice if you don't want too much wind and want shelter and less sun. During the summer, it doesn't get dark till 11 PM so nighttime cruise is really nice.

Great time! The hosts were knowledgeable, witty, and fun. The made us feel like we were out with friends, we had a lot of laughs.
We opted for the drinks to be included, well worth it if you enjoy a glass of something as you cruise along, and it truly is as much as you want. Nice boat with plenty of room at the tables. Highly recommend

Entertaining and lovely canal cruise with wine and cheese. The boat was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. Our crew was the best! Jay, Kevin, and Olivia were pleasant, knowledgeable, and fun. The 20 something year olds were skeptical and thought it was so much fun! They thanked me many times for booking the trip. The boat ride went quickly, but gave a great overview of the city center and was filled with fun facts about Amsterdam. Would definitely book again.

Our hosts and skipper were entertaining, knowledgeable, and hospitable! The boat was comfortable, shaded by a covered roof, and the cheese and wine were delicious. The hour went by too fast - we encountered a once-in-a-lifetime surprise spectacle: a claw machine was fishing bikes out of the canal! Important tidbits of Dutch and Amsterdam history were shared - such as trade and architecture, as well as fun facts about the Dutch culture. A must do tour!

Be prepared for a late departure (35+ minutes), a shorter tour overall (by 20 minutes), and a completely different boat than pictured (not a positive thing).

This was not a great experience for me. I felt that the information shared did not really add to my previous knowledge of Amsterdam. I also found one tour guide's language offensive.
I didn't receive any cheese on this tour, and I didn't think we would have to share it with the people sitting beside us, which I found very unsanitary. Trays of cheese were given to couples and families, but since I was a solo traveler, I was expected to share, which was very awkward since the person next to me had the tray on their lap.
