We will leave from De Ruijterkade 153, 1011 AC Amsterdam, next to the ALOHA café (at the end of the River Cruises Docks, under the big bowling pin). It is behind the Central Train Station. Take the IJ exit of the Central Station and turn right, keep the water on your left and walk 300m (1/4 Mi)!

This small group tour of the medieval castle was great. Our tour guide, Eva, was so knowledgeable, fun, and helpful and made the trip a delight. Not too long of a day trip yet plenty to see.

The tour began exactly where and when we expected. The directions for the starting point were perfect. Eva, our guide was AMAZING!!! She was very welcoming, accommodating, friendly, and professional. She offered us a wealth of information, and had a knack for storytelling that kept us interested the entire time. She even had beverages and snacks for us!
In addition, the castle was fantastic. The story of the family and castle through the ages was captivating. The grounds were lovely despite it being February and on the cold side.
This is definitely a must do!

What a special time we spent touring the Castle with our guide Sarah!
She greeted us and one other guest in a wonderful van and drove us to the countryside and the Castle.
Sarah gave us a personal tour that lasted about an hour in the castle with lots of interesting facts about the history of the building (from ruins to a breathtaking building and fun details about the famous guests entertained here. and
We were then given the opportunity to walk the castle again if desired, tour the beautiful park and gardens, visit the gift shop and enjoy a delicious lunch before meeting up with us again to transport us back to the city.
This tour was a highlight for us during our Amsterdam stay! We highly recommend Sarah’s Dutch Tours.

Yesterday, I went on this tour led by Eva and she was amazing! She used no notes and was very knowledgeable about the castle and its history. Overall, Eva also was friendly and approachable. She boosted this vacation, for sure!

Eva was fantastic and very knowledgeable and kept us to the schedule well. The castle itself is beautiful and well worth looking around.
Only reason it's not five stars is there wasn't enough time to see all the grounds as the place is huge, but the castle was covered well.

This tour took us to a castle that has been updated and much more showy than any other castle we have seen. The tour is good, however and I would recommend it.

This was an absolutely awesome tour. The tour guide Ava was wonderful and extremely nice. Ava went out of her way after the tour to much sure we knew the way back to our car. The castle was something out of a fairy tale. Highly recommend!

The castle was beautiful and Sarah provided a lot of information about the history of it. Afterwards, we had about 1.5 hours to explore the castle on our own or walk around the grounds which was really the perfect amount of time.
Oh, and there is also a hedge maze. Go left when you step inside and you might save yourself a little time. :)

Our guide was superb. Great at keeping in contact with us before the tour. Great instructions on where to meet. She was able to give us lots of historical information on the drive out to the castle from downtown Amsterdam. She walked with us through the castle guiding and explaining as we went along. This was very helpful, too, l so we didn't have to read everything. She also told us little stories that she's gathered from talking with docents in the castle on different tours, the history and the gossip.... what famous people had visited and stayed at the castle visiting the Rothchilds. She gave us plenty of free time to explore the gardens and get a bite to eat before we traveled back. Excellent tour!

Nice easy tour. Castle was amazing. The grounds were nice to walk around on. Tour length was perfect. Really cramped transportation in a minivan.

Really great experience visiting Castle De Haar. Our tour guide Sarah was amazing - teaching us about the history of the castle and pointing out many small details along our tour. We also had a good amount of free time after the tour to explore the grounds and grab a snack. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering visiting the castle.

Based on my experience, getting to the meeting place at times can be challenging. A small shuttle took 8 passengers to the castle. the ride was pleasant. The Castle was amazing, we had plenty of time to walk around in and outside the castle.

This was a very interesting excursion. The castle as well as the surrounding grounds are very well maintained and not to mention absolutely beautiful. Our guide Renshe (apologies if I misspelled) was very friendly, knowledgeable and not to mention our personal photographer. This was well worth the money and time spent.
