Amazing tour and tour guide!!
Our tour to Rotterdam, Delft and The Hague was phenomenal. Our tour guide made it to be an amazing experience. His knowledge on the history of Netherlands and every city we visited is commendable. Andy made us feel like old friends from the beginning of our tour. He’s smile and caring way to all of us made a difference in our tour. We recommend this tour and we strongly recommend to request Andy to be your guide. Thank you Andy for the memorable experience!!

A great day outside of Amsterdam!
We had a wonderful day with our dri er/guide Simon. He was on time and welcomed us warmly. We felt at ease from the start. Simon's commentary throughout the whole day was fabulous. A bit of history, culture and fun! It was a day full of wonderful scenery and some beautiful Windmills a and homes. Highly recommend this tour when you are visiting Amsterdam! Ask for Simon!

A lovely visit to a quaint and beautiful village
We had a lovely day out traveling by bus for 1.5 hours to the village of Geithoorn. The guide was informative about the environs and explained many points of interest including the difference between dijks and dams, agriculture and local information. The boat ride took an hour through very scenic surroundings and was most relaxing. We then had two hours of free time to have lunch and look around. A pleasant day throughout.

Highly recommended! Reinier, the tour guide, was GREAT!
This is a great tour! A nice small group, not some huge bus. Reinier was very knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. It was a really good tour with lots of food options. It was rainy for part of the day when I went, but that didn’t ruin anything! Would highly recommend this tour to anyone!!

This tour was the highlight of my trip! 100% recommend going with our guide Simon as well!
I highly recommend this trip outside of Amsterdam, particularly with our guide Simon who made the tour unforgettable! Leading up to the tour and on the day of, Simon was very timely and communicative making the entire experience from start to finish seamless. This is a small group tour which I highly recommend - the experience is much more intimate and attentive. On this tour, you'll visit historic windmills and fun cheese/clog-making demonstrations in Zaanse Schans very close to the city. The area is a popular tourist attraction so expect some crowds, but it is understandable why once you see it. Next, we visited Giethoorn which was incredibly beautiful and idyllic. The drive from Zaanse Schans to Giethoorn is about 1.5 hours, but it felt like a blink of an eye thanks to Simon's safe and smooth driving that made me fall asleep like a baby. Once there, we got to enjoy a beautiful canal boat ride and see the historic houses up close. The weather is very unpredictable here, so be flexible about your schedule and have a good attitude about the rain. The village almost looks even prettier when it rains! Nothing a raincoat and an umbrella can't handle. After some free time to walk around the village, we headed back for Amsterdam and got to hear more stories from Simon. On top of his knowledge about the culture and history of the area, his personal stories were also incredibly fun. I can say for certain this was the highlight of my trip to the Netherlands!

Excellent Experience!
We had a fantastic day trip, everything was really well organized, and the experience felt seamless from start to finish. Our tour operator, Koen, was excellent. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire day enjoyable with his insights and easygoing style. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and it made a big difference in the overall experience.
Transportation was smooth and comfortable, and the itinerary was well-paced so we never felt rushed but still got to see a lot. Each stop had its own charm, and it was a great way to experience areas outside of Amsterdam.
Highly recommend this tour.

A long day trip but worth it. Great guides!
This was a wonderful experience! The bus was comfortable and our guide Claudia was organized and informative. Then our walking guide in Bruges was also very knowledgeable and also entertaining. He also did a really nice job of keeping track of everyone in the group and waiting to talk until everyone could hear him. It is a full day trip from Amsterdam, so be prepared for the time. But we felt it was worth it.

Private, good guide, away from the crowd
This was such a great way to see the historic windmills, the countryside, small towns and visit a cheese factory and clog making demonstration in a private schedule. Totally stress free and our guide Teun was friendly, knowledgeable, good driver and flexible with our time as we were running a bit late. Such a great way to experience some of the most touristic sights without being coralled in a big bus. Very satisfied and would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a private experience.

Book This Now
Eva's storytelling brought the past to life, painting a vivid picture of historical events against the backdrop of the locations themselves. Her narratives focused on individual stories of choice, bravery, and courage, highlighting the accounts of people who chose to resist rather than be swept away by the prevailing current of events.
The experience was deeply enhanced by the locations, which offered not only visual context but also a tangible connection to the past. Eva intimately shared her own family's personal journey, detailing their preparation for survival, the challenges of hiding, and their life after the war. This personal connection transformed the historical account from a simple story into a deeply moving and relatable human experience.
The tour also provided a powerful moment of reflection, showing what the one's destiny could have been if they hadn't made certain choices, while also paying solemn respects to those who were not as fortunate in their circumstances or fate.
What began as a simple online booking evolved into a pivotal moment of reflection on the past and present, not just as an individual but also for our entire small group. (Thank you Peter, Sharon, and Eva.) This was a truly unforgettable experience, and one that will never be forgotten.

Great choice!
They took us to two quaint villages, one was on the water. Both were beautiful!!! So glad I got out of the city, saw the villages and learned about traditions, and saw how things were made. I wish we had more time everywhere because we didn’t want to leave. Great choice for a few hours if you are in Amsterdam.
