Fantastic canal cruise experience. Nuno and Renee were excellent guides, sharing loads of interesting facts about Amsterdam, from the history of the canals to the surrounding buildings and the light show. The drinks were great and constantly topped up, which made the experience even better. Nuno also gave us some recommendations for bars and restaurants afterwards. Would definitely recommend.

Itinerary

Find your way to the NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky dock, where you'll cash in your voucher. The cruises run all day and into the night, so you can choose the time that is most convenient for you. Boats stop at the dock approximately every 30 minutes.

Step aboard and be greeted by your captain and hostess, dedicated to your enjoyment and safety while on the boat. Sit back and enjoy the sights while your captain provides narration about the history, culture, architecture, and people of Amsterdam. You'll pass important city sights such as the Old Church, the Magere Brug, and the Amstel River. Grab a drink from the bar (own expense) and pull a provided blanket over your lap if you get chilly.

After the tour, you'll be dropped off at your original departure point.

Luxury? No. But it was fun! The snacks only snacks offered are bags of Doritos. Limited menu of bottom shelf liquor with very limited mixer options.

It's fraud! Me with 5 member of Family!! They asked about rebook, and then disappeare untul today. They didnt reply our messages!!! You took all the money of 5 member which is expensive? The service and attitude are bad. So regret to try to believe!!!

It was terrible. The seating was uncomfortable- you slid off the seats. You couldn’t see out of the boat well. There was nothing to see if you could. The drinks were terrible. They bribed everyone for good reviews. Classless and a complete waste of time and money.

We booked this excursion due to the appeal of unlimited cocktails and nibbles for an hour duration of this cruise, to explore more of Amsterdam by the canals, to our dismay we were told on boarding that we could have a “couple” of drinks (but no offer of nibbles) as offered on the advert?? To be fare the operator was very knowledgable of the different buildings and sites that we saw, but on emptying my glass for the second time nothing was offered, and buy the end of the trip still no nibbles!! Overall a bit disappointed with the excursion, but fare play to the company, we asked for a partial refund and we did get it.

We’re sold on the photo of a covered boat it is November the boat was open we had to ask for blankets but were told we’re getting some from the office which they did we’re told unlimited cocktails but not really cocktails rum and coke is not a cocktail

The boat left at 6:19 for a 6:20 tour and did not wait for us as we were at the dock when it departed. All the other operators check to see if they have all guests. The company has yet to respond to my request for a refund

Great boat and very nice team onboard. The duration of the tour was perfect and the boat was very comfortable. We enjoyed the canal cruise and the city a lot. Only reason for the 4/5 stars was that we booked via Viator incl. softdrinks and were told onboard that there is no such rate. So paid almost double the price without getting beverages. Our recommendation: Book the basic fee via this provider and buy beverages directly on the boat

Perfect Way to See Amsterdam

We had a relaxing, informative, and comfortable cruise on the canal and absolutely loved it. Our time in Amsterdam was cut short by flight delays but we did this our first night in town and got to see and enjoy so much. And the knowledgeable team gave us a few recommendations for making the most of our time in Amsterdam as well. Unforgettable evening, highly recommend. It was also less crowded at some times than others - we were almost crammed on an earlier scheduled tour but were so glad we waited for the next one to enjoy a more comfortable ride.

The trip was great! The driver and his wonderful assistant did a great job explaining the sights, taking us through neat canals and keeping our drinks full! Plus since it was a little chilly they were nice and got us blankets!!
