Very fun experience to get to see all the fish that inhabit the island’s waters if you don’t know how to swim or don’t want to get into the cold waters surrounding Catalina Island. You have the option to purchase fish food which will allow a bunch of fish to swarm by your particular window. The guide will explain the various fish you can see in the waters and some fun facts so there’s some educational value as well to the experience. A little note is that you enter and exit the semi-sub via a set of steep stairs so elderly and kids may need someone physically strong to ensure their safety.

Amazing Tour, Disappointing Guide

The tour itself was absolutely amazing—beautiful, well worth doing, and something I would still recommend. However, our guide was extremely unprepared and lacked basic knowledge about what she was presenting. She struggled to answer simple questions and didn’t add much value to the experience. It honestly felt like she was guessing most of the time. I’m surprised she even knew her own name—Kelsey? Katie? With a more knowledgeable guide, this would have been a 5-star experience.

This Los Angeles tour was absolutely excellent from start to finish and is an easy 10/10 experience. It’s the perfect way to see the city, especially if you want a well‑rounded overview without feeling rushed. One of my favorite stops was the farmer’s market. It was vibrant, full of great food options, and a fantastic place to experience local culture. It felt like a true highlight rather than a quick add‑on. The tour does an amazing job of covering all the major sights in Los Angeles. From iconic landmarks to neighborhoods you’ve seen in movies and TV, everything was thoughtfully included and well explained. The pacing was great, giving you time to enjoy each stop while still seeing a lot in one day. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging, sharing interesting facts and stories that made the experience even more memorable. You learn so much about LA’s history, entertainment scene, and culture without it ever feeling like a lecture. Even though we only saw a few whales during our trip, the experience was still great thanks to the amazing host. A Must Do!

Highly recommend doing this excursion if you’re in the LA area. The staff was nice and knowledgeable and the horses are gentle. A couple things to note: 1. If you are reserving a 9a horseback ride, the ranch opens at 8:30a. This is important to keep in mind if you’re catching ride-share (Lyft, Uber, or a taxi). 2. The parking area that is provided beyond the gate is small and limited. 3. Bags ( purses, waist pouches, book bags, etc.) can’t be worn while riding the horses. Be sure to wear a shirt with a pocket or pants with side pockets to hold your phone and other items (back pants pockets don’t count and work because once you sit in the saddle, your phone will be pushed out). If you bring a bag, you’ll have to either leave it in your car or leave it in the front office with the staff. Enjoy!

Mario was awesome! We got to see so many of the “major” sightseeing spots in just 3 hours. Don’t expect to see any celebrity homes because they’re either in a gated community or have bushes so high you can’t see anything. Overall, we felt like it was definitely worth our time and our money, Highly recommend.

Overall great experience and good way to see the highlights of Hollywood/Beverly Hills - filled with fun touristy movie and celebrity info. Tour guide Jose very nice and eager for us to enjoy our tour. Van seats 9 ppl total - seating is based upon check-in time (i.e., first to check in gets to pick seat first). If you’re looking for a air conditioned ride to orient yourself, hear some fun facts, see some of the sites, take some pics, and say you’ve seen some touristy places, this is an easy three-hour tour. For our family of four, it was worth the money to have someone drive us and not to have to find parking or deal with the traffic, narrow roads or congested area so we could all look around with ease.

Universal is a must when in LA and these skip the line tickets are definitely worth it as you get to use the express line on every ride once per day… this meant we managed to get around everything g in one day as the express lines were 5 minutes max versus a 40 minute normal queue for the main rides
