Highly Recommended - A Fantastic Tour and Guide

This is a fantastic tour! Mark was, without doubt, the best tour guide ever. He has a vast knowledge of everything you need to know about Los Angeles and has great anecdotes to tell. His commentary is supplemented with on-board video clips which hugely compliment the information given by him. Nothing was too much bother for Mark. He took fantastic photos to ensure that we all had great memories of the iconic places we visited. He also made a short video of us outside the house in the ‘Thriller’ video which was great fun and an added bonus! The tour was carried out at a perfect pace with plenty of free time to do your own thing at the Hollywood Walk of Fame: Mark even went out of his way to locate the Steve McQueen star for us. All in all, a genuinely fantastic tour (and guide) and we can’t recommend it highly enough.

Hollywood fun!

We had a great time with Jose! He was knowledgeable and funny! We were able to get amazing photos and learn a lot! One tip would be if you get car sick to take motion sickness meds before hand because the hills of Hollywood are a lot of up and down and round and round!

We saw the highlights of LA

Our tour guide was great, sharing lots of information & stories with us. Her driving was great. Ample time at each venue was given. It was disappointing the traffic made us very late home (1.75hrs) which made us late to our next event. Maybe the tour could leave earlier.

Remember to check in pre-trip

My sister and I really enjoyed this trip, appreciating Junior’s sense of humour and knowledge. We arrived early but didn’t check in at the office pre-trip because we didn’t know we had to. (I did a deep dive into the booking after the event and it does advise doing so somewhere but perhaps this information should be more prominent?) Anyway, I received a phone call from the booking office and, long story short, the bus didn’t leave without us, hence the well deserved, five star review.

Amazing Tour Day with Jeff!

Jeff was AMAZING! not only did he quickly point out Arnold Schwarzenegger riding by on his bicycle, he was VERY VERY knowledable on the LA area., ALL OF IT! Very funny and not only gave us a tour but kept us talking and having fun basically doing trivia with him for the whole tour. He literally knew just about everything! Perfect way to see LA!

When we were planning our sightseeing in LA, we were trying to decide between this tour and the Hop-On Hop-Off bus. I’m so happy we chose the Grand City Tour of Los Angeles, Hollywood & Beverly Hills! Having the comfort of air conditioning and water provided made such a difference, especially on a hot LA day. Our guide, Bing, was friendly, knowledgeable and fantastic throughout the entire tour. She quickly picked up on our interests and, knowing we were travelling with two older teens, made recommendations that really suited our family. The entire tour was filled with sightseeing, interesting history, celebrity stories and so much information about Los Angeles. It was a great way to see so much of LA in one day without having to worry about driving, parking or figuring out where to go next. We all really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend this tour!

Excellent LA tour — and an even better tour guide!!

An excellent tour with just the right amount of time to see all the main sights in LA. Great value for money and a brilliant way to get a real feel for the city. But what really made this tour was our guide, Talib! From the moment we set off, he had us completely hooked. He shared fascinating facts and stories, but mixed them with his humour that we genuinely wanted to keep listening. He certainly kept us entertained, especially our son, which was fantastic to see! Talib was knowledgeable, funny, friendly and clearly passionate about what he does. Would absolutely recommend this tour, and if you get Talib as your guide, you’re in for a treat!

Great tour, great fun!

We really enjoyed this tour! Our driver Hanz, was very knowledgable, and shared so many interesting facts that we would have never known! This particular bus is great for staying cool, even though the bus is open to the air, it has a shade on top to keep the passengers cooler and prevent sunburn. We noticed as we were travelling around that many of the tour busses did not have a shade. We would highly recommend!!

Don’t Expect Long Stops—Do Expect a Great Day!

This full-day Best of LA tour was a fantastic way to see Los Angeles in just one day! It was fast-paced, well-organized, and covered many of the city’s most iconic sights. Our driver and tour guide, Key, was engaging, knowledgeable, and kept the day fun from start to finish. The bus was clean and very comfortable, and on an unusually hot Southern California day, the complimentary cold bottled water was a much-appreciated touch. A heads-up for anyone booking, this tour involves quite a bit of walking, and the stops are intentionally brief. You’ll have enough time to take photos and do a little exploring before heading to the next destination. If you’re looking for an in-depth tour of each location, this isn’t it—but if your goal is to see the highlights of LA in a single day, it’s perfect. I highly recommend this tour and would absolutely do it again!

Excellent Tour for Tourists and Residents

The tour was very enjoyable for teens, parents and grandparents. We saw many homes in beautiful areas with great stories about the movie stars including former and new owners. We stopped for pictures and were entertained by non-stop interesting information by our excellent tour guide. Great value and quite reasonably priced for the 2 hours of touring. I would definitely recommend this tour for value and enjoyment. We took out of town family and they loved it.
