Filipe is fantastic!

Filipe was an absolutely FANTASTIC guide. I couldn't recommend him enough. My partner and I, and 6 others got picked up in a central location at around 7:45 am. We went at an easy pace, got to see Sintra village, Cabo da Roca (even though it was too foggy to see the cliffs/ocean), had a lovely relaxed lunch at Cascais and took our time at the Pena palace. He had so many facts and shared so much history with us, it was honestly incredible how much Filipe knew. He didn't just share info about where we were visiting but also lisbon and its landmarks as well. And he shared it with such love for his country. You could really tell he enjoyed what he did. He answered all our questions and gave us some fantastic food recs both at Cascais and for Lisbon. (Meat lovers will not want to miss O Trevo). Of all the tours/excursions my partner has done, we've loved the ones we did in Portugal the most.

After a rough start,...

After a rough start, driver was stuck in traffic and arrived 45 minutes late, we had a great day. The driver Andre was very knowledgeable about the area. First stop was a market that made you wish you lived in that area. The winery visits were both excellent and the tile shop was impressive. The recommended lunch spot was also very good. We unfortunately did not make it into the mountains because there was too much fog.

Magical day trip!

We had a really fun day trip to Sintra with Luis! He drove us safely there and guided us through the two beautiful castles with a lot of stories and history, making the trip so informative. He also brought right to the ocean for a delicious lunch where we could watch local surfers. Luis was very easy going and easy to talk with. We felt like we spent the day with a friend! It was great! Highly recommend!

Nice day tour

Lane Tours provided this day trip. For the most part, they were efficient and friendly. Our group of about 25 required four different languages which, while impressive to hear, resulted in fewer details and history about the places we visited. The time spent in Fatima and Nazare was more than sufficient but we would have liked more time in Obidos as we only had an hour there before returning to Lisbon. All in all, we felt the tour was money well spent.

This is a must if you want to visit both Pena Palace, Regaleira and also Cascais. Rute was a great tour guide and we had a very fun day out. She made recommendations to us which were great. A must do in Lisbon

Our city tour in Lisbon with João was exactly what we were hoping for. From the start, he tailored the experience to our pace, making sure we could really take in each stop without ever feeling rushed. We covered all the must-see sights, but what made the tour stand out was João’s perfect balance of knowledge and humor—informative without ever feeling like a lecture. One of our absolute favorite moments was visiting Pastéis de Belém, where we got to watch the famous custard tarts being made fresh. It was such a unique and authentic experience, and we loved supporting a family-run business with so much history behind it. Another highlight was unexpectedly running into João’s wife a few times while she was leading her own tour—it added a really personal, local touch that made the whole experience feel even more special. Overall, this tour was the perfect mix of sightseeing, storytelling, and local flavor. Highly recommend João if you want a relaxed, engaging, and genuinely memorable way to explore Lisbon.

What to do on a wet day in lisbon

Well what fun we had on here. Pedro and The Captain were very entertaining and enthusiastic throughout the whole trip. It was a really great experience despite choosing a cold, wet day to do this. Definitely recommend this if you want a nice relaxed, spacious, seated view of the streets of Lisbon. Other tours have been packed in like a literal sardine and views, zero. The trip up the Tagus,to see the tower and monument at Belem was wonderful . So nice to see it towards land for a change.
