Five stars
Could not have asked for a better guide than Mark. He was completely knowledgeable about the animals and our surroundings — so much so, that we saw a mama bear and her cubs on our first stop! We saw several bears, bison and elk throughout our journey, and also stopped at some beautiful scenic spots where we were able to take photos. The highlight of the trip was when we stopped to watch two grizzlies on the side of a mountain — I’m not sure who was more excited; Mark or the travelers! His energy was contagious and it was an experience we will remember forever. The tour also provided snacks, coffee and delicious hot cocoa. Worth noting: It’s also the perfect alternative for visitors who don’t have a rental car, as we saw so many spots throughout the Grand Teton NP that we wouldn’t have been able to see otherwise. The tour may be semi-pricey, but it was totally worth it — highly recommend.

We learned a lot about the history of Jackson Hole and were able to see some really neat sights and animals. Our guide, Joe, was super friendly, very knowledgeable and could answer every question we asked. It was nice to be able to ride and look around without having to drive ourselves.

Such a great experience! ...
Such a great experience! It took a bit to get going with matching everyone up with a horse but it was worth the wait. The horses were wonderful and required very little from you as a rider. Our guide explained everything we needed to know about riding and lead us on a beautiful tour with amazing views.

Spectacular Morning
With our excellent guide Tim, we saw coyotes, horned sheep, elk and finally several moose- I’ve been hoping to see moose for a very long time and with Tim’s amazing camera set up we could really see them up close! But regardless of how much wildlife you see, remember to take in where you are. The scenery is absolutely stunning!

For a destination with almost as many elk as people (around 10,000), Jackson Hole has a lot to offer. Jackson Hole tours are the easiest and most efficient way to explore this world-renowned valley, whether you want to raft the Snake River, learn how to fly fish, or see Grand Teton National Park’s big five on a sunrise safari. Qualified guides can also take you into Yellowstone National Park to watch Old Faithful erupt or even into the surrounding Bridger-Teton National Forest, which some locals swear is best seen by horseback.
