Itinerary
After morning or afternoon pickup at your accommodation in Jackson or Teton Village, head into Grand Teton National Park in the comfortable climate-controlled vehicle.
The route often begins by following the Gros Ventre River and heading towards Kelly and Mormon Row, where moose are often spotted. Continue to Mormon Row Historic District, a Mormon settlement that dates to the 1890s, where you can see historical homesteads and the spectacular backdrop of Teton Range.
Loop north into the heart of Grand Teton National Park, going towards Jackson Lake to take in places such as Signal Mountain, Willow Flats, Oxbow Bend, Elk Ranch Flats, Dead Man’s Bar, Snake River Overlook, and more. Take in the sights of the gorgeous landscape and look for wildlife like bear, wolf, elk, moose, deer, and eagles.
Your half-day tour ends with return to your accommodation.

This was a wonderful tour to capture all the highlights of the national park. The tour was perfect for our family of 5 (3 kids under 17). It allowed us to see the main sites but also game plan to what we would like to see again.

This tour was an excellent introduction to Grand Teton National Park (or a capsule visit for those short on time). It visited all of the Park’s most famous scenic spots (with the single exception of the Snake River Overlook, which may have had to be left off because of the lengthy car line to get through the NPS gate for Jenny Lake). Luke was a superlative guide, knowledgable about not only the geological forces that shaped the park but also its wildlife ( of which we saw moose, elk, and bison) and the history of the valley’s human settlement and the complex and fraught struggle that it took to bring the park — unquestionably one of the great jewels of our national park system) into existence. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed this experience! Our guide, Shane, was super knowledgeable about the history, geology and loaded with information about animals and we learned a lot!! Shane was great about taking us to various vantage points for photos and knew the best places to get shots, took our picture many times! We enjoyed the small group and the van was comfortable with water and snacks and a perfectly timed bathroom break. We saw a few animals like a moose, bison & deer. Wished we saw a bear but unfortunately did not. Shane did his best to find one for us.
Would highly recommend this tour, perfect length and great overview of the area! Thank you Shane for everything!!! Cynny & Libby

Our guide Shane was wonderful. He knew a lot about the Grand Tetons and the area we drove through to get there. His knowledge, storytelling and personality made it a fun day. We had a great group of people on the tour which also made it fun and enjoyable.

Excellent tour! Scott is an amazing guide! He absolutely marveled our six year old with stories about wild life and, especially, bears! His personal stories about the encounters with wild life such as pulling out a baby cub bear from under the car were phenomenal. We and especially our kid were mesmerized.
He also spoke a ton about the Grand Tetons: its geology, history, economics, all the people who tried to live in the area, which ones succeeded, which ones did not, and why… Scott is a terrific guide - he took lots of pictures of us and he knew all the right spots and iconic scenic places that are famous so he positioned us for perfect shots! My husband was thrilled, all the while soothed our 6 year old kid into good behavior and grateful attitude- just perfect all around! If you go on this tour with kids, definitely request Scott, :)!

We had a great half‑day tour of Grand Teton National Park with Shane, the mountain man. He was knowledgeable, entertaining, and gave us useful tips on how to navigate the park on our own.
We saw plenty of bison, several beautiful viewpoints, and even spotted an unidentified white animal sprinting across the distance. The best part was being able to relax and enjoy the scenery while Shane handled all the driving.
Overall, it was a smooth, enjoyable tour, and Shane made the experience even better.

Sites were awesome but guide was a little monotone. Also was asked what we wanted to see?? I replied, “I’m here for a tour. Show me it all.” How can you ask someone who’s visiting a place they’ve never seen as to what they would like to see? Too much monologue on his personal life and not enough on Teton.

The half day Grand Teton tour was spectacular! David our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the history of the area and science behind the ecosystem. The binoculars and scope provided allowed us to see wild bison, beautiful birds, and stunning features of the mountains. If you’re coming to Jackson Hole I highly recommend this tour. My husband and I truly loved this experience.

The tour was wonderful. Dan picked us up from our hotel and along with three other guests we toured the Grand Tetons. Dan was knowledgeable about locations in the park, geological aspects of the mountains and of the wildlife and their habits and locations. It was a great opportunity to have someone to drive us so we didn’t have to worry about parking and where to stop. It was thoroughly enjoyable.

Our tour was phenomenal. Dan was an incredible guide, and we learned so much of the history and geography of the area. I wish we’d taken it on our first full day so we had a better understanding of the Tetons. The van was comfortable. We made just the right amount of stops, and we were fortunate enough to see elk, bison, and a moose on our trip. The detail we could see through the scope was an awesome extra touch too. I will absolutely book with this company again!
