Itinerary
After morning or afternoon pickup at your accommodation in Jackson or Teton Village, head into Grand Teton National Park in the comfortable climate-controlled vehicle.
The route often begins by following the Gros Ventre River and heading towards Kelly and Mormon Row, where moose are often spotted. Continue to Mormon Row Historic District, a Mormon settlement that dates to the 1890s, where you can see historical homesteads and the spectacular backdrop of Teton Range.
Loop north into the heart of Grand Teton National Park, going towards Jackson Lake to take in places such as Signal Mountain, Willow Flats, Oxbow Bend, Elk Ranch Flats, Dead Man’s Bar, Snake River Overlook, and more. Take in the sights of the gorgeous landscape and look for wildlife like bear, wolf, elk, moose, deer, and eagles.
Your half-day tour ends with return to your accommodation.

We did a 4 hr. Grand Teton Tour with John P as our guide and it was excellent. John was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic throughout the tour. He went above and beyond at every stop.
We took several tours on this vacation and John was by far the best tour guide we had hands-down.

Luke Boyette Is one of the most experienced and knowledgeable person I have ever met. He took us to places and showed us wildlife that were on my bucket list. At the beginning of our excursion he asked us what we would like to see and delivered. I hope to hook up with him in Yellowstone for another excursion. A#1 in my book.

We really enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide was Andy and he was awesome. He was knowledgeable of the area, stopped at all the hot spots, and knew where to stop for wildlife viewing, and was very friendly. We were able to see a lot of things in a short period of time.

One of the best tour. If u r lucky enough to get John as your in for a treat! He is so knowledgeable & personable. Took videos of animals we saw for us. Took our pictures at every stop if you wanted. Really went out of his was to make sure it was the best tour we had taken, & it was. I would recommend this tour, & hopefully you will get John as your tour guide!!

Dan was an amazing guide!
We saw a few animals, and Dan made sure we got the best views of the terrain and the animals. He was very knowledgeable about the entire area and taught us about it all.

The tour was ‘okay.’ The guide was knowledgeable and friendly however it felt more like a chase to see wild life instead of making iconic stops throughout the park.
It became lackluster when the suggestions of places to find wildlife rendered no results.

I went on this tour in the autumn of 2025 so it was nice and cool. Everything I saw was gorgeous: from the sharply etched mountains, some of which were gently snowcapped, to gorgeous, prominent sun rays shining down on large lakes and ponds, to MILES of golden-yellow leaves on trees, flittering in the breeze. Our guide was knowledgeable and very passionate about nature. Among other things, he spoke of his he and his girlfriend forged a lovely lifestyle of saving money while living in a mobile home and traveling by spending a few weeks at a time in various national parks, allowing them to see natural beauty all across the US, and I think that it incredible!
Needless to say, thix was a very wholesome adventure during my time in Wyoming.

The Grand Tetons are breathtaking, and our guide, Joe B., did a wonderful job explaining their formation, the surrounding wildlife and the history of the region. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon in the glorious Tetons.

I traveled with my 2 sisters which are Seniors. My one has a bad hip. She did well. But had a little problem twice getting into the tour van. Because when we spotted an animal sometimes you stop the van on the side of the road which can be a Big step getting back into the van. Like I said she got in but was sore after the tour. Our guide was sooo helpful & very knowledgeable & did his best to accommodate everyone. Highly recommend them.

Our tour guide Andy was very knowledgeable brought us to the areas where different animals can be seen. Explained about different hiking trails., also provided history of the area and was able to answer all of our questions. It was a pleasure having Andy as our guide.

Highly recommend booking tours with Viator! Even though we had a car rental, we wouldn’t have been able to navigate to the highlights of Yellowstone or the Grand Tetons as well as Shane, our tour guide so expertly did. Shane knew just the right times to see wildlife and the geysers and beat the crowds! The tours are kept to a minimum so easy to hop on/off at the sites. Shane entertained us with his vast knowledge of the area and his adventures and did a fabulous job of engaging all 8 of us (a Gainesville designer, Alabama prosecutor, lawyers from Wisconsin, advertising/insurance guy from SC a NY nurse and a NYPD) in conversations-we all felt like old friends at the end of the tour!

Joe was a great tour guide; he is so knowledgeable about the area. There wasn’t a question asked that he didn’t know the answer. Plus he worked so hard to make sure we saw as much wildlife as possible.
