The experience was great!! Class 2 waters - perfect for some excitement but we always felt safe. We were given the option to rent a wetsuit (end of September) and we were so happy we did, including water shoes. Very professional outfitter company.

Our family with 3 kids had a great time on this raft trip down the Snake River. At the end of September, the rapids are not as wild which was perfect for us since we had never been white water rafting. The water was cold but wearing the wet suit really helped and it wasn’t anything that kept us from enjoying ourselves. The whole process from check in to transportation to rafting was smooth and easy. We would definitely use Dave Hansen again!

The white water was just right for our family. We followed their suggestion to use wet suits . The scenery was superb. Vlad was experienced and excellent as a guide. I would highly recommend this experience. It was a highlight of our trip to Yellowstone and the Tetons.

We had an amazing time! This was the first white water trip for our three kiddos aged 6-10 so we were a little nervous. Our guide (Hailey!) was incredible and made the experience amazing for the kids AND adults on our raft! We would return in a heartbeat!

We had a blast! We did this mid July and the rapids were not too crazy, we felt safe. We did other rafting before on another river and this was on the shorter side (about ~1hr on the river)). We did see wildlife (osprey in tree and bald eagles flying by which was a teat). Our guide, Zach was very cool and shared a lot of fun facts about the area. Our bus driver (I believe his name was George) kept us entertained on the bud ride about American History and the importance of the Snake river. It set the mental stage nicely for a well rounded experience!

It was a fun rafting experience. The company did a great job working to get our family sized with wet suits and prepped for the adventure. The bus ride to the starting point of the raft trip was 45 minutes and the driver was entertaining and helpful. The rafting trip was led by an expert guide over level 2 and 3 rapids on a 16 person raft. The guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. The rafting trip was the highlight of our trip to Wyoming.

Was great until they switched us just before launch from a 10 person raft, what we paid for, what we confirmed at the shop to a 16 person raft without asking our permission. We went from no competition for spots to half our group not paddling because 16 person boats have a third row in the middle where you can’t paddle and you just sit. To make matters worse, once I realized another group had asked to switch boats, and they switched us, the 10 person boats had already launched. My experience with 16 person boats came true, kids and adults DO NOT want to take turns and the boat captain had to threaten several times to the younger kids that they have to take turns. I paid for a standard 10 person boat knowing there is no middle row. People it’s exactly like going on a car trip with a middle seat that no one wants, unless you want the awkwardness that comes with a middle row or you have more than 10 people always choose a 10 person boat. On top of this, before launch, I told an employee we were switched and they were basically “tough luck”. I’ll be asking for our money back.

Thanks for your response and sorry for the confusion. Our permitting government agency allows to launch a Standard Raft (which is the one you booked) that can have up to 16 people and then we are allowed to launch a small boat with up to 8 people. We do not offer a "10 person boat" in our operation. Once again sorry for any confusion.

Don’t be afraid.. so much fun and never felt unsafe. Also if it’s cold still go it was 35 degrees when we went but the wet suit kept you warm. Have fun!! We had Delaney as our guide and she was fabulous!!

Awesome experience! Guides were pros and very detailed with instruction for our safety. Water was high so Rapids weren't as rough as in other times, but still amazingly fun. Scenery was incredible as the canyon is one of the most beautiful places you'll ever find.

Zach was INCREDIBLE!! I have a big personality child and Zach took to him right away and made it such an amazing experience for our whole family where my little guy got to be his whole self in nature and no need to sit still. Makes a momma’s heart SO FULL.
