Peak season is May–August — best for wildlife spotting (bison, moose, bears, elk, mountain goats) and outdoor activities
Teton Park Road (west side) closes late September–early May — no access to Jenny Lake, String Lake, or Leigh Lake during this time
All camping and overnight trips require a backcountry permit
Boating and rafting permits required — available at Jenny Lake Visitor Center, Dornan's Village, and Signal Mountain Lodge
Cell service is spotty — free Wi-Fi at Jenny Lake Visitor Center, Colter Bay Visitor Center, and Craig Thomas Discovery Center

The interface between Viator and Shaka was so confusing we were unable to utilize the tour. It’s way too many variables.

The tour was not with Viator but with Shaka. We enjoyed the tour very much. It was informative and had some scientific explanations of how the moutains were formed. Not the Christian explanation. Shaka does advertise for more of their tours but says nothing about Viator, which is where I actually purchased the tour.

Too much music/quiet time. Wish there was more info and history and such from narrative. Just had done Brice and Zion and was much more interesting
