Excellent Roman food tour with Ana
This tour was excellent, especially with a phenomenal tour guide like Ana. We learned so much from her as we tasted true Roman street food from among some of the city’s most historic eateries. We highly recommend this tour especially with Ana as a guide!

The tour was great, only...
The tour was great, only thing was that it felt like 3 hours was a bit too long in Siena summer heat, especially if opting for the self guided tour, and the time in Monteriggioni felt a bit too short. Otherwise, the tour was awesome and the guides were great, professional, and helpful.

Great tour of Val D'orcia
I saw Val D'orcia's pictures on lot of travel magazines, always wanted to see it in person, so signed up this tour. The tour operation Ciao Florence has very big operation, lots of people at meeting point. But they are super organized, with color coded stickers for different groups. The whole day tour was great, I got to see all the beautiful places in the travel magazine. The green rolling hills, tall cypress trees, movie Gladiator's villa (cannot go in private property, only peep from the gate), 2 wine tasting. One is the most expensive wine in Italy in Montalcino. Guide is very organized about meeting point, but is comfortable. Would highly recommend this trip!

Florence wine and food tour recommended
Wonderful experience, our guide was very informative, friendly and a local who passed on his knowledge on Florence culture, history, and Tuscan food, like a friend we had known for years.
The food and drink were top quality, the evening passed in a whirl ,
The joining instructions and location were simple ,totally recommended.

Fun and Informative Food Tour
Julia was a wonderful guide: informed, clear, professional, patient, and fun. Roberta, our driver and general tour assist was just as lovely. These women truly care about creating an enacting and friendly tour experience for all and they could not have done a better job! I found the Parmagiano Reggiano production facility most interesting, as we were able to see several, real production steps happen up close in real time. I was a bit skeptical when I discovered on the bus that lunch incuded karaoke - which is not for me - but it was really a lot of fun, and more of a light DJ’d experience with the staff singing and all of us joining in. The best part of that was seeing how much the staff (and chef!) seemed to enjoy leading the tour group in song. Their enthusiasm was infectious and honestly it was really warm and lovely to see. The breakfast and lunch was very good, and both the Balsamico and Prosciutto stops were also nice. Overall, it was a very good tour and a lot of fun!

One of my favorite...
One of my favorite experiences in Tuscany! It's also a great hot weather activity. It was 95F the day I did the tour, but the van had great AC. The first vineyard has a fantastic view -- you're outside, but in the shade and it's earlier in the day. The second vineyard is inside with great AC. All the hosts were welcoming, helpful, and generous with the wine. Couldn't recommend more (esp as a solo traveler).

Fantastic wine tasting with views
Fantastic wine tasting in stunning surroundings with a view across all of Verona. The guide was great - walked us round the vineyard (a bit rough under foot but nothing that flipflops couldn’t handle), and showed us the barrels where the wine aged before we did the tasting. The wines were excellent and the plate of meats and cheeses they served with it was amazing. We got there by cab - there is a bus apparently but we didn’t try it - about €14 from the centre of Verona. Took a little while to get a cab back but they helped us book one and it wasn’t a hardship staying a little longer in such beautiful and welcoming surroundings. Apparently they have rooms to stay as well so well worth exploring that next time.

Interesting experience
5 star rating goes to the guide Marie Luisa who was outstanding. Very friendly and knowledgeable..She went above and beyond to look after my elderly parents in an unobtrusive fashion. A real people person. Giuseppe the driver was also very component and very cheerful. We learnt a bit about the production of Chianti and had very small samples of the wine compared to other tours where the portions were much more generous.
Beautiful scenery on the trip to the two wineries.

A very passionate lady...
A very passionate lady giving the tour and explanation on the winery and tasting. All very well arranged, explained and super friendly daughter of the house managing this. Very much a recommended tour and visit worthwhile with nice wine and some food.

Delicious
The food was so delicious and the guide, her with the red hair, was so knowledgeable. I really liked learning about wine and cheeses and quality ratings of the food. It was a very lovely experience and I had a good time chatting with the other people on the tour.

Great day trip to four lovely towns with a delicious lunch at a family own winery.
Our lead tour guide, Hillary, was excellent. She managed a large group with ease and ensure that we get to experience all that the tour had promised. In each of the four towns, we were given an allotted time to explore on our own with special advice from Hillary to maximize the given time to see points of interests. Best part of the tour was the lunch and wine tasting which was well organized. The venue was on a huge vineyard with some small animals (rabbits, turkeys, geese, and chickens). We enjoyed this tour and recommend it when you’re in Florence as one of your day trip. Special acknowledgment to our tour bus driver, Raffaelo, who safely drove us all day to each site and back to the initial pickup point.
