Your wine escape starts with pickup in a fully-fitted bus with free Wi-Fi from the Piazzale Montelungo bus terminal next to the Santa Maria Novella Train Station in Florence. Take a seat and head to the Chianti wine region while your guide tells you about the history of the regional wine production.
Take the famous Chianti Road to two wine estates. Try 3 to 4 different types of wine at each estate, along with local olive oils, cheese, and balsamic vinegar. Walk among the vineyards and visit the cellars, where you learn about local wine-production methods.
After the winery visits, snap photos of the Tuscan countryside from a panoramic terrace on the Chianti road.

This wine tour was easily one of the highlights of our trip. The entire experience was well organized from start to finish, and the scenery in the Tuscan countryside was beautiful.
We got to visit multiple wineries, learn about the wine-making process, and taste a great variety of wines. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience fun without feeling rushed.
Perfect mix of education, relaxation, and great wine. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Florence.

The first vineyard was just ok, beautiful views but moderately interesting wine.
But terrific tour guide, Beatrice, and driver.

A really enjoyable and well-organised wine tour. We visited two very different vineyards, which was nice to experience. The first was a more traditional, family-run vineyard which had lots of character, although personally we didn’t enjoy the wines and felt the food provided with the tasting was quite minimal.
The second, more modern vineyard was fantastic and definitely the highlight for us. We loved the setting, the wines were excellent and the whole tasting experience felt really special. Overall, a lovely way to spend the day in Tuscany!
We had a great day. The wine was delicious and our driver and tour guide were awesome. Well worth the cost to see the country side of Tuscany and learn about how Chianti is made.
Had a good experience. During the first winery tasting - people loosened up. Conversation was flowing. The first vineyards were beautiful. The second winery the tasting was in the cellar. A bit echoing in the room. Wines were all good.

What more can you ask for
Nice bus and nice tour. Wine tasting was good and the 2 wineries we visited were also good. Guide was very engaging and gave lot of info on the city etc while on the bus.
Very large coach bus- 50+ people. Lovely vineyards and gorgeous views. Wine was reasonably priced. Tastings were small. Very little food
We saw a small family-run winery run by 2 brothers first with beautiful grounds and a larger winery second more commercial but very impressive. It's a perfect half-day activity that does not include lunch. Bus transportation was very comfortable and we didn't have to worry about anything throughout the entire experience.
This was a great tour. We visited two wineries and tried three great wines at each place. Our guide, Daisy, was amazing. Highly recommend!
A lot of time on a bus
The actual time at wineries was interesting and informative and tastings despite being modest were at best adequate
Scenery probably outstanding ( in my case it was raining so at least glimpses were great)
The region is great
The tour is nothing more than an opportunity to sell you wine. I have been on other tours and they will take you around the grounds and show you how they run their fields and how they produce the wine. This tour has none of that.
It was an okay trip, wouldn't call it great. Tour guide was simply okay, not sharing a lot of info along the way.
Bus ride was long and there was no interaction with anyone.
Too many people on the excursion.

This was the best tour, and i love you get so much in the half day, it doesn’t at all feel rushed and when you finish you’re still energized enough to spend the rest of the day exploring Florence.
Excellent tour through beautiful scenery. Both venues were fascinating and the wine was reasonably priced.
Only quibble is that the pick-up/return point in Florence is quite far out of the city and we needed to get a taxi from the hotel to get to it - but there was no taxi rank nearby when we returned. As we both have mobility issues this was frustrating.
It was a great day. We visited two very different and distinct vineyards and had three tastings at each. Our Tour Guide Fred was knowledgeable and pleasant. The bus was air-conditioned, which was very important. I highly recommend this experience.
Lovely morning out of Florence. Fabulous vineyards great wine tasting. Tour was just the right amount of time
First stop at Tenuta Torciano was a seated experience inside a cellar - lovely place setting and atmosphere. Host was charming and fun, though a bit hard of a sales pitch. Second stop was Fattoria Bacio - lovely outdoor setting and pretty grounds. That one could have used more education about the place and the wines tasted, aside from filling tastings, no comments made. Snack choices were below average, and we had to pick up ourselves the cheap paper plates. Otherwise, tour as described. Guide c/should have used travel opportunity to talk Tuscany wine region history more.
The drive to the Chianti’s was beautiful but the bus driver was not good at driving stick shift and felt very motion sick.
The vineyards presented were different from each other. One was family run and the other a larger operation.

We had limited time and so the half day was great. This was a very basic tour and a good introduction. The group size was good.
Everything was excellent. The vineyards are beautiful, the guides are incredible, and the wine is delicious. The views are absolutely striking, and you learn so much about the history of the region, wine, and wine tasting. It’s an amazing experience that I am really glad I got to share with my husband on our honeymoon.
Long way to travel for 6 sips of wine. We felt kind of rushed through all of the aspects of the tour.
The guide was ok. The description said we were going to montereggioni but we didnt got. And we cjose the option to go, it was disapointing
The wineries were beautiful with one traditional and one more contemporary, both having incredible charm. They gave the option to ship their product directly to your home (for many many countries), which helped us with gift-shopping worry free. The whole region was absolutely beautiful and the wine was delicious.

The only thing that was **A SMALL** bump for us was that the two vineyards we visited told us almost the same story and gave us the same information. It would have been more interesting if it was a bit more detailed about the specific vineyard, rather than exactly the same basic information about the vineyards and area (Chianti Classico).
This was one of the highlights of our time in Florence. We went to two lovely wineries in Tuscany. One was a small family run business where we got to try goat cheeses with our wine made from the goats on their farm. The second was a beautiful vineyard with a very friendly and knowledgeable host. This vineyard was great for taking pictures, and we got to try assorted charcuterie with our wine. We even ordered bottles of wine that get shipped straight to our house in the US. Definitely highly recommend this!
