Fantastic experience and this is a super well organised tour. Despite a 73 person big group, it was divided into English, Spanish and French groups. Our travel guides Anthony and Lucy are fantastic and everything was on time. Perfect trip and will recommend to those who want to have a quick glimpse of Tuscany towns.

Itinerary

Your day trip departs from Florence, where you hop aboard your coach and travel through the Tuscan hills.

Arrive first in the medieval city of Siena, celebrated for the horse races that pack cheering crowds into the main square twice a year. Learn about the area's history and architectural gems from your guide as you stroll the cobblestone streets. Make your way to the stunning Siena Cathedral, constructed of striped black and white marble, for a tour of its truly unique interior (at an additional cost as part of the Classic Tour).

Relax afterward with a 3-course lunch at a local winery, enjoying plates of bruschetta, pasta or other regional favorites, complemented by a wine pairing (if Classic Tour option has been selected).

Continue to the medieval hilltop town of San Gimignano, known for its towers, visible for miles over the cityscape. Soak up some free time to wander the local shops and streets at your own pace.

Reunite with your guide and head next to Pisa and enjoy additional time to discover the city on your own. Check out Pisa Baptistery, the Duomo, or snap a photo with famous Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Your day trip concludes later in the afternoon with transportation back to Florence. Please note that this day trip involves a moderate amount of walking.

This tour offered multiple towns and experiences. The bus driver handled the roads like a champ. Our guides were very informative and helpful. There was a lot of free time on your own. The wine tasting and lunch was a nice break. You really get to see the countryside of Tuscany with its beautiful scenery and quaint towns. Long day but worth it!

Buyer beware

A good tour overall, packed day with a good tour guide, however, a guided tour of Sienna, cathedral entry, lunch are all additional extras adding roughly €50 to the initial ticket, the prices of which were not indicated when buying the ticket initially.

This was super fun! Our tour guides were absolutely awesome unfortunately there was on 09/15 a few guests who were super disrespectful to our tour guides and that has NO impact on the tour but our tour guides were extremely respectful to these disrespectful guests and handled the situation extremely well! I was thoroughly impressed! Virginia Luke and Constintio

Next time opt for one activity instead of 3

We spent more time on the bus than actually doing the activities. The AC on the bus was almost nonexistent. Our driver was absolutely amazing how he drove and navigated the streets. Our tour guides Alex and Guya were great.

Excelent!!

A lot of walking for an Older person like me who should be in better physical shape. There was a lot offered for the price. Our guide was great and so very friendly!!!

Florence / Tuscany Tour

FRANCESCO_C, Sep 2026
I have done this excursion 2X before and I am convinced that we need more time at each of the locations, specifically Siena and San Gimignano. An hour at each is not enough time to see everything. You may want to eliminate one of the stops (Pisa or the Winery) and have them as a separate excursion. Lastly, the bus at Pisa was parked far enough away from the site that it required us to walk a significant distance in the rain. We also had to switch buses because of a mechanical issue at Siena. To the tour guides credit, she did a good job managing the situations and us to ensure that everyone was accounted for and safe. The winery experience was the best of the stops!!!

So yourself a favor and book another company.

Tanya_G, Sep 2026
The lunch and wine tasting was the highlight. There was way too many people. It was close to a full double decker bus. The stops at each place was about an hour. When I did what I thought was the same tour last year the church in Sienna was included. This trip I had to pay around 30€ for my day and myself to go in. Then at the leaning tower of Pisa additional 12€ if you did not want to walk. The guided tour in Siena I honestly leaned nothing. After the initial cost of 191 then add in the other cost the whole day was rushed. With other tours they make sure you have rest stops. This tour told us about the public restrooms that charge and with long lines that take Away from your already excessively short visit to the cities.

Very enjoyable but a long day

Heather_B, Sep 2026
Absolutely loved our tour guides! Maya was so helpful and friendly. The bus was comfortable and cool! My favorite part was San Gimignano. The shops and gelato were great for gifts and souvenirs. The winery lunch was fun and appropriately timed as we needed a break. This was a very big group and at one point I got in the wrong bus (there were several buses with the same name going the same place!) but I found my way. I appreciated the guided tour in Siena and paid for a cathedral tour, but it wasn’t my favorite stop. Pisa could even be shorter…I was excited to go but not much to do there. Overall, just a lot of walking and 12 hours is probably a little too long for me. I got over 16,000 steps in. Be advised there are uneven areas and steps/stairs/hills to climb. At some points it was hard to keep up with the tour guide.

Such an amazing tour!...

Savannah_E, Sep 2026
Such an amazing tour! Very organized program with lots of free time to explore on your own. Alex and Lucia were amazing guides. Both bilingual which was very helpful and the tour was filled with amazing facts and many jokes. Definitely be prepared to walk A TON! Bus ride is a great place to relax after each tour and even sneak in a nap. Enjoyed this tour very very much!

Raul and his group were great, very accommodating and informative. Great day exploring Tuscany. We had a great time. Definitely would recommend this trip

Wear good walking shoes! This trip covers a lot of good stuff but is long and may be tiring

Virginia_S, Sep 2026
Be warned, this is a very long day! It was also more people on the bus than I expected with a total of 69 people plus two guides and the driver. Although I booked an English-speaking tour, it was multilingual and most of the people were Spanish speaking. Our guide did a good job of communicating in both languages. I was excited to go back to Sienna and to see Pisa for the first time. San Gimignano is charming but it was an uphill hike from where the bus was able to drop us off and the weather was hot, so after popping in one leather store we found a table at an outdoor cafe with shade and a breeze and spent our time drinking and snacking. We had been there once before, although our small tour van was able to drop us near the top back then. We did the same thing in Pisa - sat at an outdoor cafe in the shade with a lovely view of the leaning tower until time to go back to the bus. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at the winery, so be sure you are opted in for the meal with the wine pairing! My one big negative was the local tour guide who met us and took six of the English-speakers through the city center ending at the cathedral in Sienna. She left us outside the cathedral with instructions to go around the side and buy a ticket to enter if we wanted to. We did that with one other couple, and I consider the inside "not to be missed". However, the instructions our tour guide gave us to get back to the meeting point had us wandering around lost. The other couple had the same experience, although separate from us. When I contacted the tour company for help getting back the guide kept telling us to come to the restaurant where we started. I was asking over and over for the name of the square or the coordinates so I could use my own GPS to navigate. Instead they sent a picture. We already had that ourselves and it didn't help as it didn't include the actual name of the restaurant. We did eventually stumble upon the spot where we met our tour guide and were able to navigate to the meeting point from there when the guide finally gave us the name of the square. Lesson learned: drop a pin when you have to navigate back to a spot in an unknown city. My fitness tracker shows I walked over 14,000 steps for a total of 6 miles with 96 minutes of exercise and 13 flights of stairs climbed. We opted in for a tram to take us to the leaning tower in Pisa or it would have more. Take extra cash with you because there will be things you didn't expect to need to pay (like the tram) as well as admission to things you may decide you want to enter that are noted as not included in the tour description. Overall, a thumbs up.

Abymon_M, Sep 2026
We as a family had a very good experience but the time allotted at each place were not enough to go around and enjoy the place. It was very rushing at all the other three places visited because they spent too long at the place of lunch which was a winery. The winery doesn’t even had a cellar or a tour. The guide and the driver were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent Day Out

Craig_R, Aug 2026
This was really good, I highly recommend. Many places to visit, Roberto our guide was brilliant, him and his team really made the day. Food and wine was nice, places were great to visit.

St. Gimignano was an unknown delight

Bryan_H, Aug 2026
I enjoyed the day. It was a long day, but actually went fast. The tour guides were good. The bus was comfortable and wi-fi reliable. I especially loved St. Gimignano, which I had never even heard of before.

A must to visit all these places in one day

Sharon_F, Aug 2026
Very well organised and great to do all these stops in one day. Long day but so worth it. Wear comfortable shoes and add the sienna cathedral entrance, you won’t be disappointed

Great Tuscany tour

We loved our tour and our tour guide—Lorenza. She makes the tour so worth it. They’re beautiful towns and a good experience.

A long day of touring!

Solomon_G, Aug 2026
Walking distance to Pisa site is lengthy. A mini train is available at an additional fee collected on the bus. Well worth the 7€/person. The bus was comfortable but lacked a functional toilet. Guide in Siena was excellent. Guide, Leo, was very good and kept us on track. A tough job with a bus load of us (over 50). Lunch at the winery was very filling. and the tastings were okay.

Enjoyable day, beautiful sights out in Tuscany!

Ndegwa_W, Aug 2026
The tour was lovely, the bus was very comfortable. Lucy & her guide/driver team were fantastic all the way. The sites were also beautiful and enough time given to sight-see.

Great way to explore Tuscany without the hassle of planning on your own!

Phill_A, Aug 2026
A fantastic way to see Tuscany from Florence in one jam packed day. The meeting location was an easy walk as we stayed near the train station. The Ciao Florence Tours staff were friendly and helpful as they had lots of tours and tourists to Manage. Our tour left right on time, and our tour guide Alex was friendly and knowledgeable. The coach was very clean and modern. We had a local guide at Siena who was fabulous! She had a great knowledge of the area and was pleasant and delightful. Next stop was a local winery where we tasted 4 wines with a personal charcuterie board, then a pasta dish and dessert. Then off to San Gimignano, it was a beautiful medieval town, and a great gelato shop! Last stop was Pisa to see the famous leaning tower. What a site. As the weather on our trip was close to 100 F, they arranged an option for a petite train to take us to the site (6 Euro round trip) so we didn’t have to walk in the scorching sun, which I really appreciated. It was a great trip that I recommend highly!

The guide was very knowledgeable and very kind! She spoke to each group personally and was always checking in to make sure we were okay! She shared so much information about the history of Italy. We would recommend this tour!

Well worth the money

Jale_E, Aug 2026
Great tour with great tour guides. Only criticism VERY large group (80) of us. I think this was too big, takes away the ‘personal’ feel. Was quite upset that I didn’t get to sit with my daughter on the coach as everyone was pushing and shoving to get on coach which was quite a tight squeeze. Also, a toilet on the coach would of been good, although it didn’t bother me, a family’s child nearly wet themselves as the drive from pisa to Florence is quite long.

Great Tour!!

Susan_L, Jul 2026
First let me say this is a good tour to do. You get to see a lot in a short time. However I felt there was not enough time in San Gimignano and that was a beautiful village. Also, there was a woman on our tour who could not walk well. In my opinion the people in charge should have told her this tour would be too difficult for her due to all of the walking and steep hills. However they did not. She had to sit and wait each time we stopped and I felt sorry for her. The tour itself was wonderful. Especially the stop in Tuscany. The lunch and wine tasting were wonderful. I definitely recommend adding the lunch. Do not skip it. It is well worth it. As far as our tour guide she didn’t do much so I have nothing to say about her. She wasn’t bad but she did not stand out the way other tour guides have had in the past. Overall I highly recommend this tour. Just know you need to be able to walk a lot!!!!

Pass a wonderful day with wine tasting and a beautiful meal. Had plenty of time to admire and see the new places that we went.

Worth the long day

Will_W, Jul 2026
It's a long travel day, but our guide n bus driver (Constantine and Elvis) was really helpful the trip on schedule . The tours in sienna was ok, but not enough time to spend in the town. The wine tasting/ lunch was nice. A guided walking tour of Pisa would have been helpful (but not offered)
