Excellent value for 58 euros plus tip. Coach was very comfortable, scenery was incredible. The super Tuscan Ava we had at the second stop was bold and big, very enjoyable. The people on the tour friendly and engaged. Would do this tour again

Go and do the wine tour, the views were breathtaking!! The trip to the countryside was calming and relaxing. Our tour guide was very informative and engaging in conversation. Both winery’s we top notch. Very enjoyable and interesting!!! I would recommend this to anyone!!!!

Very friendly coach tour leader (Caterina) and great coach driver (Vito?). The vineyard tour was more of a wine tasting than a vineyard tour as it was in a dining room. Lots of wines to try (7) and nice cheese & nibbles. Informative about their wines, which were of excellent quality. The vineyard staff were super friendly and you could have several top ups when the session was over. Good value over all. The sparkling wines were some of the best I've tasted!

It was a good trip, the guide Caterina was very friendly and had good information. We visited 2 wineries, the first one was very good with a tour and tasting, the second one only tasting. It was a good and fun experience 1 hr from Florence approximately. The wines were really good. The only thing is that they set a pickup location in the train station but then made us walk over 10 minutes to where the bus was parked. Not a fan of that, of that the drop-off was in that spot which was a little dark and kinda scary at night. It is something to take notice of.

We had a fab time tasting wines and Balsamic in the hills of Tuscany! Our tour guide was helpful and knowledgeable about the areas we visited and the wines etc we had were very good too. The Balsamic we tried on our first stop was the best I’ve ever had and bought a couple of bottles!! Would definitely recommend this tour although my one criticism would be to be a little more descriptive about the meeting point please… if you’re not from Florence, finding the actual ticket counter was a pain and we thought we were going to miss our trip… it’s right in the centre of the train station in a ticket hall around a corner so we found that difficult to find with the instructions online..

Fun trip!

Overall it was a very good experience. The wine tasting was a lot of fun.....especially the second place where Marco entertained us with his wit and humour. It would have been great if the tour guide would have given us more information as we travelled. The vineyard tour was not very in depth. It would have been good to hear and see more of the process. We stood in the vineyard and enjoyed the view but didn't get very much information.

It was a beautiful ride on an air conditioned bus (thank goodness). 2 wineries and lots of samples & food to pair with. Interesting tour through the process. I wish it could have been longer. Would do again!!

Disappointing organization of a wine tour

The wine was excellent and the sommeliers that presented their wines were great. Our tickets said our tour was in English, but the guide repeated everything in Italian when it was not necessary. In addition, we were told the tour would leave at 1:40, but we did not leave the meeting point station at the train station until 2:02, then we had to walk about 15 minutes to get to the Montelungo bus station before boarding the bus. Why were we not told to arrive at the Montelungo bus station, rather than wasting our time waiting in the train station and walking to the bus? It should be common sense, but wine tours are not appropriate outings for babies and toddlers, as they disrupt what should have been pleasant, quiet bus rides and relaxing wine tours. The tour operator should not permit underage persons to attend as they are not of legal age to drink alcohol.

Our tour guide was angry...

Our tour guide was angry and not happy to be at work. Could not understand 2/3rds of what she said. The bus was disgusting and the AC didn’t work properly, the tour was fully booked with only one empty seat on the bus and the outside temperature was 88 degrees. Needless to say the lack of AC or windows that could not be opened made for an extremely uncomfortable trip and the group at large started to get upset. The first winery had a wonderful view but they packed us in like sardines and again not opened air or AC made for a very uncomfortable tasting. Several people could not sit next to their travel companions and the angry tour guide yelled at them to sit down at random spots and it was very clear these people were embarrassed and uncomfortable. The second location had no view and was next to the highway (just a building) but they had AC and ample space for all guests to do the tasting. The second location was organized and welcoming vs the first location that was total chaos. Don’t waste your money or your precious time in Italy!

Great tour/tasting experience

Almost didn’t go due to a few of the negative reviews but decided a half hour before to just do it. It was a very fun trip today and we saw some nice views on the way to Arrigoni Winery in the Chianti region. Had small snack of prosciutto and focaccia there. Nice tour and tasting. Also went to Poggio Winery in Monteriggioni which was also very nice. Had cheese, meats, oils and balsamics there. Very fun. Bought a few wines and Simone the owner was great. Our guide, Giulia, was also very engaging and did a GREAT job. Finally, felt very safe with our driver, Valter. In sum, a very fun way to spend an afternoon/evening and would highly recommend. .

We loved the whole thing, a great day. I’d rate it a 4.5. In terms of feedback, and I suspect some of this is outside of your control but here it is anyway. The first vineyard, in the countryside, was spectacular. Staff was amazing, location was stunning, just wish we could have stayed longer. The second vineyard, the wine was great, the instructor was excellent, very informed, etc., but we were crammed in like sardines and totally rushed through, that part was not fun at all. The stop in the little town, I’d skip that next time and use that time at vineyards instead. There wasn’t really enough time to do anything and the restaurant staff in the town seemed annoyed that we all arrived at once (I don’t blame them). The coordinator I’d give her a 4. She was good but had unnecessary attitude at times. To conclude as I started, we totally loved the day, just wanted to provide feedback in case it’s helpful!

This experience was fine. Do not expect to get drunk or even buzzed on it. Very light pours at the two wineries included. Also eat before. Yes, there is snacks, but it’s a very small amount. A nice drive on a big tour bus through the countryside, but there’s definitely better tasting experiences out there.
