Well worth the money
We had an excellent experience on this Manuel Antonio National Park tour. The organizers provided very clear instructions beforehand, including exactly where to park and where to meet the guide. Thanks to their directions, we parked right in front of the park entrance and avoided all the parking scams and confusion outside the park.
They even sent us a photo of our guide, Saul, before the tour, which made it very easy to find him at the meeting point.
Saul was outstanding. He helped us spot an incredible variety of wildlife that we never would have seen on our own. Using his telescope, we were able to get amazing views of sloths, monkeys, birds, and other animals hidden high in the trees. He also helped us take photos through the telescope, which resulted in some of the best wildlife pictures from our trip.
Throughout the tour, Saul shared fascinating information about the animals, plants, and ecosystem of Manuel Antonio National Park. He was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and clearly passionate about his work.
This tour greatly enhanced our visit to the park and was absolutely worth the money. We highly recommend it, especially for first-time visitors to Manuel Antonio.

Had an amazing experience...
Had an amazing experience with El Santuario. The guides were professional and made our first time ziplining go super smooth, the driver was prompt, and we enjoyed the lunch. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone that visits the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area.

We started at 750 and...
We started at 750 and weather was still nice and cool. Before leaving the parking lot, our tour guide, Leo, had spotted a pair of Macaws that were making a nest in a tall tree stump. He took beautiful shots of the birds through he lens and our phone. Leo was informative and funny, but most important knew the park well enough to know the good spots and communicate with other guides. Obviously, beach at the end is lovely. So glad the government decided to protect Manuel Antonio.

I was not excited about this tour, but it was fantastic and I’m so glad we did it! We had so many samples of fruit that were all delicious, sugar cane and rum! The chocolate and coffee were great!! The tour was very interesting and the tour guide shared a lot if interesting facts.

Amazing!!!!!
What an amazing experience all the way around! Our tour guide was Ronald and he was spectacular! You do the white water rafting, eat a home cooked meal, enjoy a cup of delicious coffee (brewed the old fashion way) and get to tour the family owned farm. Everyone was so incredibly nice and educational. 5 stars all the way around! Pro tip: they let you split the photo package with others in your raft! Only $14 instead of $40!

Incredible day
Amazing and must-do in La Fortuna. Was worried it would be touristy, but it is for a reason! We took our time down and made it to the waterfall in around 12 mins. We swam in the river and enjoyed the views for 40 mins or so, and then walked back up in 18 mins (with many stops on the stairs!)

Oscar and his team were the best!
Oscar and his team were great. We arrived late and had to reschedule 2 hours ahead, but to make it up for OUR inconvenience we were given a pass so we can enjoy the pool and hot springs across the street while waiting for the next tour to begin.
After ATVing/hiking up to the closest point to the view of the arenal volcano and getting to learn more about the Native Costa Rican culture through the talk session. Oscar pulled my partner and I aside for a “private” route where we were the only ones swimming in the river. Also took his time to get off his ATV and take pics of us in front of the view of the Arenal Volcano; and took a video of us ATVing through the water.
For our first day in La Fortuna, 10/10 experience for sure! Oscar, you are my guy!
Note: Do NOT use Waze to get here, use Google Maps or it will take you to a different spot (which they let you know ahead of time)

Excellent adventure!
This was a wonderful adventure with many different things to see and experience. Our guide, Sergio, was excellent and had such a good eye for spotting wildlife. It was a fairly strenuous day and a few of the hanging bridges made us nervous, but if you are up for it we had an awesome overall experience!

Costa Rica 2026
If I had to do again I would have done the private tour. Our guide Johnny was so knowledgeable and interactive. I really appreciated all his education. Going on a group delays and slows things down so toward the end i got to the point where u wanted to just go off on my own. Johnny was the highlight of our experience.

One of our favourite activities in Costa Rica
This was a great activity that our whole family enjoyed. I don’t think the rapids were actually class 3/4 at the end of dry season in April, but we had a great time on the river. Guides were experienced and very fun. They made sure to point out birds, iguanas and a sloth in the forest as we passed. The tour was well run - we stopped off at a little souvenir shop on the way for toilets and purchases (turned out it had the best prices we found in Costa Rica). The lunch after the trip was very delicious!

Incredible PM tour!
Our afternoon tour of Manuel Antonio Park with the one and only Albin Gutierrez was absolutely incredible. This guy is a legend-super smart, hilarious, and bursting with charisma. Even with limited time on the PM tour, Albin worked his magic and showed us so much: sloths, monkeys, bats, and more. His energy was next-level, and he made every moment unforgettable. The park itself is magical—it even has stunning beaches tucked inside the rainforest. I highly recommend both this tour and the park to anyone visiting Costa Rica. If you want a guide who truly loves what he does and brings the jungle to life, book Albin.

Great trip with friends!
Trip was great but some things that would have been good to know is that this is A HIKE with some climbing and boulders. Closed toe shoes highly recommended. You will trek through a river and there is a short part where the water is deep enough that you will have to swim (they provide lifevests). Wear your swimsuit but be prepared to only be in the swimsuit of get your clothes wet! Not recommended if you have poor joints.

If one country is known for its nature, it’s Costa Rica. With cloud forests, active volcanoes, sparkling beaches, sloth sanctuaries, national parks, and more, outdoor activities in Costa Rica know no bounds. Luckily, it's just 10 hours coast to coast, so you can hike mountain summits, soar down raging rivers, and soak in Costa Rica's famous hot springs in just a few days. These excursions make it easier to hit the highlights, often providing round-trip transportation and sometimes taking you to multiple attractions in a single day.
