Great hike with an excellent guide. Jose was very informative and took great care to ensure all of us could see the animals both from the ground and through his spotting scope. In one day we saw dozens of howler, Capuchin and spider monkies, a tapir, a wild pig family with babies, toucans, macaws and more. Great experience and highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing experience. Got to see wildlife all over and the guides are very friendly and knowledgeable

The guide had lots of knowledge and explained lots of things and I'm sure he did his best, although we were there mainly to spot animals and I felt that too much time was spent just on talking on the same things and places, so at the end we couldn't see many animals, and neither take nice pictures from the telescope. We felt that the tour was not greatly organised and more training is needed, we walked on small paths and we were just mainly relying on other people spotting animals and running to see them from one place to another one.
The tour and place is overrated and overpriced for what you see and get. We could see more animals in any other park of Costa Rica. The lunch was disappointing, poor selection of food and drink, and you are forced to walk barefoot even on the toilet. On the way to the park I had to sit on the middle of the boat without back support and holding myself with a rope to avoid falling backward. It says that only 100 - 150 people are allowed per day in the Park but the places was packed with definitely more than than 100 people. Not worthed the price and I wouldn't recommend, considering that Corcovado is supposed to be the best place for biodiversity in the world and we just mainly saw tapir, coati, ant eater and some monkeys. They should organise a much longer trail with transportation along the park like in a proper safari, maybe that would help spotting more animals.

It was a great experience! The forest was amazing and the trip was well organized. Our only issue was that we booked an English tour, but we had a few people in the group who didn’t speak a lot of English. So the guide was kind enough to do both Spanish and English. But we got the impression that she told the Spanish speaking part of the group way more than the English part. So we had the feeling we missed a lot of details. For the guide it was also a bit difficult I think to switch from English to Spanish the whole time. But for us it was sometimes hard to keep up. That is the only feedback we would recommend for the tour guides. The rest was great :)

Maria is a 5* guide! She did a brilliant job with our group, showing us spider monkeys, a sloth, a caiman, an owl, a coati and ended the day with a tapir eating! Maria was really friendly and happily answered all of our questions about the animals we were looking at. I’d highly recommend getting a tour and asking for Maria! She also sent us great photos that she’d taken through her scope!

Easy trail with lots of wildlife! Our guide Freiner was kind and very enthousiastic about the animals.
The boat ride can be a bit rough but definetely worth it!

Welk organised trip to Corcovado NP. We saw a whale on the way to the park, which was great, and a fair amount of wildlife in the park. Seeing the tapir was a highlight. Guide José is friendly and knowledgable.

Great experience. Fantastic nature... Inspiring to see guides fully committed to nature preservation.

The park and wildlife are wonderful, though the trail system is not large, so you still end up seeing a lot of other people.

Overall, this was a very good Corcovado day tour. We were lucky to have dry weather in Drake Bay, so the hike was comfortable and not overly muddy. Our guide was excellent. He was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and did a great job managing a group of nine while sharing meaningful information.
Some rules were not communicated clearly in advance. The message mentioned reusable plastic or aluminum water bottles, which we understood as allowing reusable sports drink bottles. At the park entrance, rangers inspected backpacks and required us to discard sports drinks. We were fortunate to have hydration bladders. Otherwise, this would have effectively left us without any container to carry water. Clearer wording beforehand would have avoided unnecessary waste and confusion.
Lunch logistics were slightly uncomfortable. Shoes must be removed, but the floors were not clean, and the men’s restroom had wet and slippery surfaces, which raised hygiene and safety concerns. Boat seating was strictly assigned for weight balance, which is understandable, but sometimes separated people traveling together.
On the positive side, the return boat ride brought an unforgettable bonus. We saw three humpback whales offshore. Despite a few logistical and communication issues, this was a high quality experience overall, mainly thanks to the guide and the wildlife.

I loved this tour, it was the highlight of our trip. The guide had a lot of knowledge, he helpt us spot a lot of animals: tapir, sloth, monkeys, crocodille, birds, snake, spiders. The boat trip was long but i liked it, the lunch was a buffet and it was tasty. Downside for me was that it was an easy hike and you don’t go far in the forrest, i guess you’ll have to do the overnight tour if you want that. I think i would recommend to do the overnight tour if you can.
