Such a fabulous tour. Our guide for the sloth tour Andreas was so so good. We saw so many sloths and he could read the group so well.
And the coffee and chocolate tour with Jason was so good. I don’t even drink coffee but the info about the history of coffee was so great. And the chocolate was so tasty. Definitely worth the it!
I definitely recommend taking the guided sloth tour as we wouldn’t have seen any if we went on our own.

Our guide went out of his way to find us many sloths and other interesting things in the tour. We learned a lot and really enjoyed it.

Very fun and we saw so many sloths! If we didn’t do this tour, we would not have seen as many sloths on our trip. The guide was very great at pointing them out and sharing facts. The coffee and chocolate tour was phenomenal as well! We definitely enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour in La Fortuna. It was a morning well spent. From spotting 9 to 10 Sloths in a protected habitat to learning about coffee and chocolate making. Great experience overall.
The group sizes were small. Guides were patient and professional, including our 5 year old in all activities.
Booking process was easy and communication prompt.
Would definitely recommend to others.

While our tour was in the rain, it was still great. We saw many sloths, even one giving birth. The coffee, sugar, and chocolate tour was good, just a little long. We ended up in the dark.

We have started our tour with a Coffee, chocolate, and sugar cane tasting. Our tour guide complained about what he was exhausted and tired and the entire your was boring and not exciting. The second part of the tour was south watching our tour guide was very experienced and we had lots of fun. We have been able to see sloth and a lot of different species of jungle life. I think we had more enthusiastic thirst tour guide the out tour would be magnificent.

It was fantastic and the guide Augustine took his time to ensure we saw everything. He was the best at spotting each sloth and really wanted us to enjoy the experiences

Sloth guide Isaac was fantastic! The coffee and chocolate tour guide was good but tour itself was a lot of information. Very little coffee consumed. Chocolate was a little bit more.

Guides are great and educating. At the beginning of trip I couldn’t spot the animals way up in the trees but about halfway through, I was spotting them with the naked eye! But they do bring a telescope to look through. The coffee and chocolate was delicious. I wish they had a large enough operation to sell their chocolate! But they have very good brands in the gift shop.

The sloth guides are great at spotting all kinds of critters and help you take pictures through the telescope. Coffee chocolate and sugar part are educational and fun but did take sometime.

Sloth experience was wonderful, our guide Johnny was knowledgeable and had a good eye. We got lucky and had a very active day. Seen 5-6 sloths with most of them moving/active!
The coffee, chocolate and sugar cane tour had potential. We had a guide that didn’t have the best English so we didn’t feel like we quite understood everything he was trying to tell us. We asked lots of questions and got the jist. I feel he didn’t want to try to explain things due to the language barrier, which fair, but it’s a paid tour with an English speaking guide.
Over all not a bad experience.

Amazing guide (and his nephew) who worked very hard to show us sloths, frogs and birds in their native habitat. Photos taken through his scope were amazing- especially one of a mom and baby sloth. Guide was very knowledgeable and answered our many questions. I’m so sorry that I do not recall the guide’s name.
The demos of coffee making, chocolate and sugar cane processing with Marco were so much fun! Great hands-on, memorable experiences. Highly recommend this package.

Great tour, experienced guides. Small groups. There are supposedly 20+ sloths on the property, so we were able to see a fraction of that. They were cute. Highlight was when a momma sloth carried her baby and climbed over to another tree. Slow and methodical, with big stretches.
We also did the chocolate/sugarcane/coffee tour. Our guide explained each in detail, from the history to the processes. There were lots of chocolates to sample, and sugarcane (sugar end product as well as sugarcane juice), and freshly brewed rainforest coffee. Lots of tasty treats.

It was so great ! Steve was fantastic! We saw sloths, toucans, frogs , snakes …. With his binoculars, he was able to really make us discover nature. He even used it to take pictures with our phone ! I have some beautiful images to take home !

There are sloths to see but it’s like going in a private backyard. Going with a real naturalist in the wild would be better.

The wildlife spotting section was great. We had a knowledgeable guide, who was clearly passionate. We saw more than just sloths which was great. The coffee, sugar cane and chocolate part of the tour was not as nice of an expierence. The guide was different for this section and felt less knowledgeable and it was less informative.

The guides are so knowledgeable and you will learn so much and during the sloth tour we would never have spotted them on our own. Randy, our guide, helped us get great photographs!

Excellent tour with wonderful, informative guides! I was shocked at the length and variety of the tour! I think it would be helpful to make this a tad bit more expensive and include lunch because by the end we were famished! Wonderful excursion though- so in depth, fun and the guides were full of insight on each topic!

Wow so cool! We got lucky and saw some sloths moving around and eating! Got to take such cool footage. A lot of them were sleeping as they as just sleepy animals! Tour guide was informative and we had a lot of fun.
We also did a combo tour for coffee/chocolate/sugar and our guide was very fun and knew his stuff!! The tasting was amazing, interactive, fun, and we learned so much about the history and making.
We were all super happy and had a lot of fun on this double tour!! Highly rec. everyone was also sooo nice

If you’re in La Fortuna, this tour is an absolute must! We had such a great time on the sloth tour—our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and answered all of our questions with enthusiasm. The coffee, chocolate, and sugar cane tour was just as amazing. It was interactive, fun, and everything we tasted was delicious. My friends and I had the best time. Sergio was a fantastic guide—fun, engaging, and passionate about what he does. Highly recommend!

We saw many sloths, birds, snakes, and lizards. The chocolate, coffee, and sugar cane portion provided a lot of knowledge but not too long or overwhelming.

Nice experience but two hours to see 3-4 sloths was a lot of time.
Coffee, chocolate and sugarcane experience was cool. But could have condensed it also.
