Super fun and informative walk around the base of the volcano! Our tour guide was really knowledgeable and spotted animals I never in a million years would have caught myself. He was also super funny and personable. It rained quite heavily the second half of the walk, but we still had a great time. I would recommend this for anyone looking for something less intense / low key.

Neifram was an amazing guide! He provided so much information that was interesting and you can tell he is very passionate about what he does. He also took some pics with a special lens so we could see the creatures from a very up-close perspective. I would say this was my favorite experience in Costa Rica so far. Overall a really great tour! However if you are not in the front you can miss a few things. Still had a super great time and saw lots of animals.

The whole family enjoyed the experience. Our guide Eric pointed out multiple insects and reptiles we found along the way. The transportation drove us to the top and walked our way down into the night. All of the staff members were friendly and did a great job.

We were about 1/3 of the way into our hike, when a thunderstorm hit. We were drenched but saw many frogs and even a small snake. Hard to see with rain running down our faces but the guide did an excellent job.

This was an excellent tour of the rainforest at night. We were a small group of five and our guide was excellent. We were each provided with flashlights and the trail was well laid out. There are some steep steps along the way but nothing too difficult if you take your time ( I am 78, but quite fit). Our 11 year old grandson loved it. The guide was great at spotting wildlife including, tree frogs, roosting birds, a lovely non-venomous snake, spiders and numerous other animals and insects. He seemed to really enjoy his work and the whole tour seemed relaxed and certainly not rushed. I highly this tour. 5 out of 5!

I was struck not only by the sight of all the wonderful creatures we found out and about in the rainforest just after dusk, but also by the myriad sounds. At one point we shut off all our flashlights and just listened- it was amazing.

Wonderful and wild night time walking tour. This was such a cool experience. A must book of you are looking for some real time out in the wild of the rainforest spotting all kinds of animals. We saw spiders, snakes, frogs, bats, fireflies, and so much more. The guide was knowledgeable and you could tell he was enjoying it as much as we were. He had a great eye for spotting things and was happy to answer questions. I don't think you could get this type of experience anywhere else, besides getting hopelessly lost in the rainforest at night, there were dozens of things he spotted that the rest of us would have just walked right past. Show up with a sense of wonder, some strong nerves and be prepared to see the untamed Costa Rica rainforest by night!

It was great we saw a lot of wildlife. We saw a lot of frogs and snakes different spiders. Our tour guide was Nefryn and he was amazing with educating us on all the animals and he had a rlly good eye at finding different things

I can not begin to tell you how fun this was! It was a dark, rainy night in the jungle… seriously, it was. We saw a snake in a tree, frogs doing adult frog things, see through frogs, colorful frogs, POISONOUS dart frogs, a giant walking stick (this thing was bigger than your head and an arm!!), and MOOOORE! This was an outstanding tour! It was so much fun. Definitely recommend and would do again! On a rainy night…

Do not book !!! Warning!! Use a more creditable company… they will steal your money. They had the wrong address which made us miss the tour and never gave us our money back. They are using this to steal peoples money and it’s completely wrong.

We take comments like this very seriously, but we must clarify that the information in your review is not accurate.
The correct meeting point and instructions were sent to you twice through Viator and also via WhatsApp, and we even asked if you needed transportation so we could assist further. Unfortunately, we did not receive any response from you prior to the tour.
On the day of the activity, you informed us you were running late due to a tire issue, and we kindly agreed to wait for you. Later, at 5:45pm, you informed us you were still lost and asked us to wait an additional 5–10 minutes, even though the hike starts at 5:30pm. As this was a shared tour with other guests, we were unable to delay the departure any further.
The address provided is correct and is used daily by many guests without any issues.
From our side, we were flexible, responsive, and did our best to accommodate you. However, arriving late and missing the tour is considered a no-show, and under these circumstances, a refund does not apply.
We regret that you were unable to join the experience, but we cannot accept claims that we are misleading customers or “stealing money,” as all information was properly provided and the service was available as scheduled.

Night Tour with Brandan
Brandan was fantastic. We did tour with two children age 7 and 10. He was fantastic at keeping them engaged. The walk was perfectly paced and we spotted so many animals. The kids LOVED it. Would 100% recommend.

This was a great experience and didn’t disappoint. Nathan was a patient and knowledgable guide. The guises were talking to each other to point out Where particular animals were. We saw 3 snakes, endless frogs and insectos. Pick up and drop off was efficient. Overall id highly recomendable.

The night walk was fantastic! Erik, our guide kept us fascinated throughout the walk with his vast knowledge about the creatures we were seeing. Snakes, frogs, insects, arachnids and more were observed. The pace was just right for the group of 8.

This was so much fun. We saw four snakes, so many frogs and even a kinkajou high up in the canopy. Our guide (didn’t catch his name) was very knowledgeable and friendly, so good about everyone seeing each animal and taking photos. I would absolutely recommend it. The fear-de-lance and cat-eyed snakes were the highlight!

Our tour was great! We say a lot of different creatures in the wild. The guide was very knowledgeable. There was also an area at the end of the trip with frogs and we saw a few red-eyed tree frogs!
