We were worried about the heat with my mom who is older but there was plenty of covered room in the bar area that had a nice breeze to stay cool. Room for about a third of the group to sit at a time. Never had to stand when I didn’t want to. Food was good and guides pointed out wildlife as we went. Overall very pleasant and enjoyable.

This was a lovely afternoon, sailing on the water and having the opportunity to swim in the ocean! The lunch was delicious and the drinks plentiful. Our excursion ended as the sun went down. We got to view a beautiful sunset from the deck.

This was a wonderful adventure for all. The trip was both enjoyable and memorable. The snorkeling was somewhat limited but the water, drinks and catamaran trip were outstanding. The food exceeded our expectations and the sunset on the way back was magnificent. The crew was helpful and respectful. Our 75 person boat was only about 45 people so that made the experience even better. Might be a little different with a full boat. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and I would highly recommend it to others!

The meet up and quick boat ride to the catamaran was smooth. Lots of space on the catamaran to find the perfect spot to enjoy the tour. We were fortunate enough to spot a whale on the tour :) Lots of time for snorkeling and floating in the ocean, taking in the gorgeous views of the coastline. Crew was amazing - they put on a yummy and plentiful lunch - open bar was also perfect. The catamaran was clean and the crew worked tirelessly to ensure everyone was taken care of. The views of the sunset don’t miss and certainly a bonus from the water. Certainly recommend this tour.

Crowded but fun!

The catamaran cruise was a fun experience. You take a small motor boat from the shore of the beach to the catamaran. Once on the catamaran, you find a spot and enjoy the beautiful views and ride to the destination beach where you can swim to shore on a lovely sand beach that was very secluded or snorkel to see cool fish! The crew was so nice! They came around and made sure you were comfortable and brought you drinks. We had about 45 mins to explore and snorkel, then boarded the catamaran for lunch. It was marinated grilled chicken with rice and beans with nacho chips and cookies. Edible, but not gourmet by any means. Then we sailed back in time for the sunset. I didn’t like how crowded the boat was. There were not many comfortable places to sit. There are 2 bathrooms aboard, so that was nice and convenient. We also saw whales breaching the surface on the way back which was a fun surprise. If you’re looking for something to do to enjoy the beauty of CR, I would definitely recommend this trip.

This was a lot of fun. My three kids loved it. It was relaxing. The snorkeling was great. We had an amazing fresh dinner prepared by the guys on the boat. Drinks were all included. The sunset was perfect. This is a great time for all ages!!

Friendly crew, safe, saw dolphins up close to the catamaran, good meal and open bar. Water was warm even in December made for comfortable snorkeling. Beautiful sunset.

The crew is excellent! They took very good care of us the food was good and there was plenty for everyone. Great Pina colada. On the ride we saw Sea turtles, dolphins and whales. A baby whale gave us a show splashing and jumping out of the water! They provided snorkeling equipment but you can't see anything because the water churned too much but I suspect that it's always like that. We had so much fun.

This was a great experience. We took a small boat to the catamaran which took us out about an hour and a half. The snorkeling experience wasn’t as organized as we’ve had in the past. They didn’t have life jackets for everyone which I didn’t like. But the drinks were steady, the food was really good and the staff was very very nice.

My partner and I did not enjoy this activity. It was raining, lightning, and thunder and we (personally) did not go snorkeling. Many of the kids did, but it was too cold for me. The good: the food was delicious and the staff were very kind. They made an effort and took care to go over the safety rules. The bad: It is a booze cruise with loud music, rowdy kids, and was entirely way too full (72 people out of 75 max) which was surprising because it’s off season. Overall, it was pretty miserable and we couldn’t wait to get back to shore.

We had so much fun on this catamaran with such a great crew. I had read previous reviews and was aware that the snorkeling may be a little subpar, however, we still saw a shark, stingray, and lots of fish. The captain and crew were great. The drinks were amazing and so was the food.

Amazing catamaran experience with a super courteous and generous crew. Park near the beach, and then you'll be taken via a small fishing boat to the catamaran which is anchored a couple of hundred yards offshore. Ride up the coast for an hour or so followed by the opportunity to snorkel, paddle board or just jump in the ocean. The water is salt and minerals heavy due to volcanic deposits common across Costa Rica. As a result the water is both really buoyant and good your skin! Tasty lunch and then an hour ride back as you catch the sunset

It was a great afternoon cruise up the coast of CR. Due to water conditions, we did not get to do any productive snorkeling, but the crew was super friendly and the sunset was beautiful.
