Fun, interesting guide with easy walk to some interesting buildings in Chicago. Our guide, Grant, was upbeat and engaging. Our group, which was a mix of ages, really enjoyed this tour!
Greater way to explore downtown Chicago and learn interesting tidbits about history. David was a very knowledgeable and engaging guide!

Walking tour of several buildings. A lot of information surrounding the creation and crime history was included.
We had a great afternoon exploring the Chicago Architecture from within the buildings and learning about some famous crimes and serial killers. Recommended for every resident and visitor.
David was great. He was knowledgeable and easy to hear despite all the noise around us. We saw a ton of landmarks and learned more about their history and the lives of people who lived there.
Travelers should be prepared for walking more after walking to meet with tour guide. Have a good pair of shoes for long distance walking.

A nice walk through Down Town
Inside buildings we wouldn’t have known to go in, with interesting stories. Enthusiastic Grant obviously loves his job.
Roan was our guide and he was great. Lots of beautiful architecture both indoors and out. He explained each location and its significance to Chicago history and architecture while adding in some interesting stories about crimes and tragedies
A great mix of both architecture and True crime stories. We were going to do two seperate tours one being all Architecture and one True crime but we felt that this tour ticked all the boxes. Extremely interesting, our guide was David who is a brilliant story teller !

David made our Chicago Crime & Architecture Tour a real highlight. You can tell he has comedy genes: he presents even complex topics in an incredibly entertaining, engaging, and easy-to-follow way. Although we’re not native English speakers, we could understand him perfectly and truly enjoy the tour. His mix of humor, knowledge, and storytelling turns this into much more than a standard guided tour. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience Chicago in a unique and memorable way!
David provided an excellent mix of beautiful architecture & spicy stories of Chicago notorious past.
David was a fantastic storyteller and guide! He really knows his history and provided detailed information and stories that brought some of these beautiful buildings to life. He added some great humor and wit which made the your even more entertaining. His answers to questions werent just thorough but also provided additional stories. His passion made the tour a great one. I highly recommend taking time to do this tour, its a great companion tour after doing a boat tour where you get inside the buildings the boat tour goes past plus the darker stories that go with the architecture.
A good walking tour of a few of the many beautiful historic buildings in Chicago. Our guide was knowledgeable and flexible to accommodate our interests. Enjoyed this tour very much.
Tour Guide David lead an excellent tour!
It was a rainy day and most of the tour was inside, so it was the perfect option.
Even most locals don’t step inside these spots the interior of Chicago often gets overlooked for the exterior. And sometimes the interiors are even more fabulous. As was the case on this tour.
I’ve lived in Chicago for over 30 years and while I had been to two of the stops before,
David provided so much depth and new information about the locations as well as detailed accounts of some very grizzly crimes.
I highly recommend this tour to others.

Tour was very informative- and the perfect balance. Long enough to be interesting but did not drag on. We have visited Chicago quote a bit but still learned interesting new tidbits about the history of the city. David did a great job.
Really enjoyable tour exploring wonderfully designed buildings and interesting local crime stories.
Wear walking shoes. Walking is on flat surfaces in downtown Chicago. There are a lot of stops along the way, so not constantly walking.
This experience made our trip to Chicago a lot more memorable. So many interesting stories that made each place 10x better. Grant was very knowledgeable and super great at telling his stories. Felt something like a Netflix series in real life or a an interactive documentary.
Bring comfortable shoes since theres quite a bit of walking. Our tour guide was very accommodating and kept it fun
What a great experience! We got to see all the top highlighted places, and even some bonus places you would never think about! Joseph the owner has created something special here mixing the architecture in crime knowledge together into a fun and interesting walkabout. The pace was also fantastic. We didn’t do for too long or walk too fast. Everything was just perfect.
