We haven’t gone yet we received a cancellation I had correspondence with Viator we were able to reschedule for 8/20 at
15 - We did have a private golf cart tour which was fabulous- With Francesco Gladly give that tour Five Star +
We booked the 8:30 time slot. Arrived at 8:10. We were told our time was moved until 10:30, with no prior notice. We then spent money on taxis to go other places, costing us around 50 euros. When we came back for the 10:30, the “skip the line” was a line that included 200 + people in front of it. Would not recommend this company.
We missed our original Vatican visit day, so I had to quickly book a new visit the night before. Booking was fast and efficient and we received our entry tickets for the 8:00 time slot. Thanks to the clear instructions, we were the first ones in and had time for a nice breakfast at the cafe before exploring the museum.
Arrive more than 15 minutes early. The office took too long to print our tickets and we missed getting the guided experience.
This was a step into history for sure. The ceilings were incredible works of art. Some of what we saw was better than the Sistine Chapel.
Really disappointed - after being told our visit time to the Vatican was delayed even after asking a number of times. The guide who was due to print off tickets eventually told us that it would be 30 minutes plus later than expected, but couldn’t confirm timings. We questioned whether there was any possibility that we could cancel as we were likely to be running late for other things that had been arranged that day. Thé guide then disappeared for another 15/20mins while we waited with no idea what was going on. Eventually on returning we asked if the visit was still on for 11am to which he announced he had cancelled our booking!!!! So after spending an hour waiting I then find out no visit
I spoke to your support team over the phone who were really helpful and a refund email and full refund were issued promptly.
The annoying issues were the rudeness of the employee, the fact that I had travelled that day to the area for a trip I had paid over £130 for that never happened. The following day I was leaving Rome so had no chance to rearrange.
A real shame and no Vatican visit!!
It really is skip-the-line! This was our 2nd time at the Vatican. The 1st time we did the museums & St. Peter's w/ a guide, which was wonderful! Especially since we were w/ my mother who has limited mobility. This time was just us 2, no St. Peter's & no guide. I wish we would've used one. Maybe next time!
Cool guy, but he gave us the wrong Tickets (30 min later than booked). Overpriced in reference to original ticket value, but that was on us not buying ticket from venue before coming to Rome
The tour company couldn't accommodate my timing eventhough I booked it 2 months in advance. They told me thr night before that there were no tickets and moved it to the following day and booked it at 3 different timings. We couldn't be all attend at the same time. On top of it they weren't professional enough when we went to their office. And one of the lady showed me from far away about the lineup and using pics as to how to maneuver around inside to get the tickets. Wasn't acceptable for the fiat timers in Rome. This didn't happen on any of my other tours I booked via Viator
We booked this before coming out to Rome then the day before I get a phone call saying they had to move us from 9:30 to 2pm and they would also give us a guide for the inconvenience. We rearranged our plans and were very confused as we booked the slot so didn't understand the issue. Then we got a message saying it had been changed to 8:30 and we had to change plans again and there was no longer a guide included. We were told we had to be there at 8:30 sharp or we wouldn't get in which wasn't true. While queing to get in a staff member kept sending us to the wrong waiting line. Getting in was super stressful but we finally got in and it was well worth it!
Skip the line and easy entrance was the only good thing about this ticket. Received very little direction and nothing is included in the over price of this ticket.
This Tour was cacelled well before the date of entry, Viator continued to send notifications that Tour was still valid when I got there, no tickets despite my card being charged, trying to request a refund is not possible because no booking shows up, very frustrating, I have paid for tickets I never recieved and find it almost impossible to speak to somone re a refund
Highly Recommend the Skip the Line tix. Very fast n easy to get in. If not you might wait hrs in lines.
It was a little difficult to find their location for voucher /ticket redemption but part of that was on our navigation and new to Rome. Once there, they were very helpful and escorted us towards entry point to Vatican. Once there, thankful we had skip the line! Easy access!
In the morning I got a text asking if we could move our timeslot 2 1/2 hours later, we could not as we had other plans. When we got to the place to pick up our tickets, we where told that our timeslot was not availible and we had to wait 30 minuts. They sell tickets that are not availible. Be aware that "Skip the line" is only at Main entrance, you will have to stand in line inside and the vatican is very overcrowded with tourists. Bring a bottle of water and good shoes.
The man at our pick up ticket counter was terrific! He even walked us down the street to the skip the line tent! Thanks!
Once in, we rented the audio guide.. it was ok but not memorable.
I wasn’t going to see Sistine Chapel while in Rome and then I started to regret my decision by the time I decided to go everything was completely sold out. This was the last skip the line ticket I could find and it got some very mixed and bad reviews so I was extremely hesitant and worried. My stepdaughter and I decided to have extremely low expectations for this and not get in at all that way, if we got in, it would be a big bonus. I can understand why some people say it’s a little stressful with getting the tickets from the vendor. We were told to be there around 8:15 for an 830 entrance time. We left our hotel at 7:45 but then hit a lot of traffic and wound up getting there around 8:19. The vendor kept messaging me on WhatsApp saying I needed to get there immediately and I should’ve been there at 8 AM. He was stressing us out a little bit. I asked him to send me a photo of where to get my ticket from because there were lots of complaints about how hard it was to find - once we found someone he said you have to hurry up and run up the hill as fast as you can, you’re starting time was at 8 AM even though I purchased an 8:30 AM entrance ticket lol - we started running uphill as fast as we could and then sure enough. We literally walked right in past thousands of people and skipped every line possible. When we looked down, our tickets said it was for a bike tour so we were shocked that they worked at all lol. I would give it five stars because we got in and saw and did everything we wanted to do in the hour and a half that we had before rushing to the airport. But obtaining the tickets was a little bit stressful lol.
They cancelled our tickets 15 minutes after we sat there. They kept saying they could get us different times, finally they said 5:30. He wax so rude the entire time but said he would call…he called at 3:30 and said we have to come at 4:30 when he knew we had coliseum at 3pm. He said 4:30 or nothing and I told him we cannot bc of our Colosseum tickets and he said “fine” and I told him he was “the worst” and he said “so are you”. DO NOT PURCHASE THROUGH THIS COMPANY

arrogant behavior not everyone from us but she was so rude behavior
They cancelled 1 hour before the time slot :( We were on our way and got an email from Viator to say the tour group had cancelled our tickets. We were told it was due to them having overbooked.
The “skip the line” ticket is the way to go to avoid long-long lines. Have patience with the crowds going through the museum to the Sistine Chapel.
So much to see and experience during this amazing tour.
The app is easy to use and the overall experience was wonderful! Everyone was professional & friendly. Communication was a breeze. Skipping the line is the BEST!
Don’t be confused about this. You’re still waiting in line no matter what they tell you. You are merely paying to skip one line and stand at another line.
Well worth booking, shop around corner, easy to do, went to short queue rather than massive queues everywhere else. Worked a treat. Only thing to improve, a bigger sign on shop to easily acknowledge right venue. Directions good.
The visit was supposedly guided and wasn’t, was asked to take in account an elderly and WASN’T!!!! The guide promptly disappeared from view at first opportunity!! And the 81 yr old could not keep up!! It was thanks to a fellow traveller that she did see the Chapel, not what was paid 100 plus Euros for!!! Definitely pour experience!!!

Sorry dear traveler I remember that the you booked ticket last moment and than you arrived at the meeting point late the lady she was not able to walk with group because she was very slow that the reason I brought her with another traveler entrance skip the line she was not able to go with guide , in our page we already noted over age and people who have help issues can’t walk normally don’t buy the service anyhow sorry again for this convenient , the day was so busy had situation behind,
We always try to do our best for clients regarding our service policy.
Do not book this. It’s a scam. We were told our tickets did not exist (even though I had a confirmation ) and forced us to take a refund (ummm how does that make sense if our tickets did not exist?) and suggested we join the main queue. We could not do that, so never got inside. Also, we were not the only ones who had this issue. Shame on Viator for representing such a dishonest operator
We only purchased the Skip-the-line Ticket Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel Fast Pass. It was a good decision for us seeing the long line of people waiting to get in. Although the instruction was to redeem the voucher for the entry ticket at the meeting point only, Hakim was kind enough to personally accompany us to the exact entrance gate where we did not have to get in line. If not, we would have been lost because of the different entry gates with people lining up!
The meetup point was a little difficult to find, but the host/tour guides were absolutely on point with accommodating earlier times for your ticket if they have some extra time slots available.
As far as the actual place, it was absolutely beautiful and I absolutely recommend this place. Not only is the museum inside the Vatican GORGEOUS, but the Sistine Chapel is SO beautiful inside. I literally cried being in there.

I appreciate you dear client we are always try to do our best but mistakes can happen apologies with patience And our best capability we use to give our traveler. Thanks again
Collecting the tickets was easy and hassle free. We found this much better than having a guide as we could go at our own pace and enjoy our time in the museums.
Difficult to find the spot where you get the tickets. I don't know why they don't just issue tickets to you directly through email. You have to walk all the way down to one of the streets to get the tickets. The guy who is supposed to give us the tickets wasn't there. We had to wait 15 minutes for him. Not very organized
Wouldn’t recommend paying the additional money for “fast track” tickets. Paid £90+ and when the tickets arrived we could see they actually cost only £25 each. The skip the line we were told by security wasn’t really skip the line just not the general admission queue. Still had to wait in another queue of over 40 minutes. Would recommend people just purchase direct from Vatican. Other people in the queue also said the same. The Vatican museums and Sistine chapel itself was so worth it and beautiful
