Although the weather was gloomy and dreary it was a great tour nevertheless. Chris was helpful and caring, he had ready raincoat in when the weather started into drizzling. He provided snacks to all as well. It was great trip overall.

I really enjoyed this day tour to Vancouver BC. Out tour guide was great, very chatty and his extroverted personality spilled out with the other members of the group. Everyone was chatting and interacting and sharing stories on the ride up. The tour guide also gave us great history lessons for Washington and Vancouver area and lived in both. I highly recommend this tour.

Incredible Experience from Seattle

Arva_R, Sep 2026
My sister wanted to visit Canada and neither of us have been there. I originally reserved a hotel in Vancouver and a round-trip bus ride to stay one night, but luckily I found this tour was available to pick us up from Seattle and drop us off at the same location, so I cancelled that and booked this one instead. Literally the best decision I've ever made! Our tour guides were absolutely amazing and did an excellent job communicating with us and coordinating this all day event. 1st tour guide picked us up at the Courtyard hotel location, then stopped at the downtown location to receive more passengers. He drove us to the McDonald's near the border to have us ride with the 2nd tour guide who will help us cross the border and take us to several places in Vancouver. I of course felt a bit nervous filling out the paperwork to go through the checkpoint but we were in the clear. As promised, she drove us back to the same McDonald's and the same guy drove us back to the hotel later that night. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in visiting Vancouver from Seattle without staying there. Please make sure you bring your passports wirh you and follow the laws enforced when crossing border in both directions. Bonus points if you bring a pen so that you don't have to borrow the tour guide's pen twice lol

Driver Purposely Left Group Member Behind

Andrei_S, Sep 2026
The driver and guide Cyrus gave unclear directions and left me stranded during one of the stops in Vancouver. I returned to the meeting point at the set time, but he had driven off to the next stop. He made no effort to reach out to me when he saw I was missing from the van, and drove off even when the rest of the group insisted to wait for me. My passport was in the van. Had he left me there, I wouldn’t have any means to get home. I had to ask strangers on the street for help since my phone battery was almost out and internet didn’t work.

Response from Host, Sep 2026

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent Vancouver tour. We value all guest comments and take every concern seriously. We would like to take this opportunity to provide a full and transparent account of the situation. We must respectfully advise that the events you described do not align with the information gathered during our investigation. This was a small group tour with a total of nine guests. At the designated meeting time, the remaining eight guests had all returned to the meeting point and boarded the vehicle as scheduled. The guide's directions were therefore understood and followed by the overwhelming majority of the group. You arrived approximately fifteen minutes after the agreed meeting time. During this period, the guide proactively sent you a text message stating, "We are at the lighthouse. Where are you? "to which you responded," Walking there." This confirms that your phone was functional and that communication between you and the guide was open. The entire group waited for your arrival before continuing the tour. At no point were you left behind or abandoned, and your passport remained safely in the vehicle throughout. Upon returning to downtown Seattle at approximately 9:30 p.m., you requested that the guide deviate from the scheduled route to drop you off directly at your hotel. The guide was unable to accommodate this request, as there were still four other guests on board who needed to be dropped off at the designated drop-off point, as your hotel was in the opposite direction of the designated drop-off point. You subsequently chose to exit the vehicle before reaching the scheduled drop-off location and later sent a message to the guide expressing your dissatisfaction in strong terms. We are sorry that your experience did not meet your personal expectations, but we stand by the actions of the guide acting reasonably and in accordance with the itinerary and the needs of the entire group. We respect that every guest is entitled to their own perspective, and we always strive to deliver the best possible experience. However, we must respectfully state that the account presented in your review does not accurately reflect the events that occurred. We are committed to treating all guests fairly and with respect, and we equally expect that our staff will be treated with fairness and dignity.

Overall, this was a nice...

Jessica_M, Aug 2026
Overall, this was a nice experience, but I do think it’s overpriced for what it is. If you don’t mind driving, I would recommend renting a car and doing the drive yourself. However, if you prefer to sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride, then this is a convenient option. Since this is a one- day trip, you’re on a pretty tight schedule and are given approximately 20–45 minutes at each stop, so you don’t have a lot of time to explore. Our guide, Cyrus, was nice, but oh boy, he definitely needs to learn how to gently step on the brakes! He brakes hard, so be prepared for a few unexpected stops along the way. Also, please stay close to your group! My friend and I got separated from everyone at Stanley Park. Thankfully, Cyrus didn’t leave us behind, but he was definitely upset, as were some of the other passengers. Unfortunately, this put the group about 20 minutes behind schedule. My friend and I felt terrible about it, and if you were part of our group, I sincerely apologize again! The only snacks provided are water and granola bars, but the good thing is that you stop in several areas where you can purchase food and other snacks. If you’re visiting Seattle and looking for something to do, I definitely recommend visiting Vancouver, it’s beautiful and worth seeing! However, I’d either find a different tour company or just rent a car and drive yourself. You’ll have more flexibility and probably get more out of the experience for the money.

Response from Host, Sep 2026

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We truly appreciate your honest review, as it helps us improve our services and better understand our guests’ experiences. We’re glad to hear that overall you had a nice experience and that you enjoyed the beauty of Vancouver—it really is a stunning destination! It’s also great to know that Cyrus, your guide, made a positive impression with his friendly demeanor. That said, we sincerely apologize for the areas where we fell short. We completely understand your concern about the pace of the tour and the limited time at each stop. As a one-day trip, we do try to balance covering key highlights with returning to Seattle at a reasonable hour, but we hear your feedback and will review our itinerary to see if we can offer a bit more flexibility where possible. We also take your comments about the driving experience very seriously. We’ll address this with Cyrus directly to ensure smoother and more comfortable driving in the future. Guest safety and comfort are our top priorities, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Regarding the group separation incident at Stanley Park, we truly appreciate your honesty and your apology on behalf of your group. We’re glad Cyrus was able to ensure you weren’t left behind, but we also understand the frustration this caused for both you and the rest of the group. We’ll reinforce with our guides the importance of clear communication and headcounts at each stop to prevent this from happening again. We also note your comments about the snacks provided. While we offer water and granola bars as complimentary light refreshments, we’re glad you were able to find food options during the stops. Finally, we value your suggestion about renting a car for more flexibility—it’s a fair point, and we appreciate that you still see our tour as a convenient option for those who prefer a relaxed, guided experience. We’ll continue working to make that convenience more valuable for our guests. Once again, thank you for your thoughtful review. We hope you and your friend had a memorable time in Vancouver despite the hiccups, and we’d love the chance to welcome you back on an improved experience in the future.

Great Experiences!

Tommie_B, Aug 2026
26 Aug 2026 -The Travel was great, Phil was a great tour guide, however on a long Trip to Vancouver, we should have had more leg room , we were in a small coach Van look like a 12 Seater, even though it was only 8 plus the driver, we had little room to stretched out our legs.. and some of us were bit older with disabilities.. Just need to think about thoses types of issues and concerns. Overall it was a good guided tour..

Uncomfortable trip to Vancouver

Frances_T, Aug 2026
A lot of traffic. Our guide kept the vehicle too cold. Spoke with a Chinese tourist entirely time driving. The itinerary was ok. Just a taste of Vancouver. Very rushed at each sight we visited. Driver seemed very unexperienced. I’ve done several tours out of Seattle. He was far below all the guides I had in the past.

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent Vancouver day tour from Seattle. We would like to address each of your concerns openly and honestly. We are sorry that you found the vehicle too cold during the journey. Cabin temperature is a very subjective matter—what feels cool to one guest may feel comfortable to another. We have reminded all our guides and drivers to periodically confirm with guests regarding the temperature and to adjust it when possible. If you ever find the temperature uncomfortable on a future tour, we warmly encourage you to let the guide know at the time so they can make adjustments right away. If the guide's extended conversation with another passenger left you feeling overlooked, that is not the experience we want to deliver. We have spoken with the guide about ensuring that all guests receive equal attention. A Vancouver day tour from Seattle involves a significant amount of ground to cover, and traffic conditions can add further pressure to the schedule. Your feedback has been shared with our product team, and we will review the pacing and time allocation at each sight to see where improvements can be made. We regret that the guide did not meet the standard you have come to expect from your previous tours. We take this feedback seriously, and we will use it as part of our ongoing guide training and evaluation process. Every guide on our team is expected to deliver a professional, safe, and welcoming experience. We are glad that you found the itinerary itself to be generally acceptable, and we hope that despite the shortcomings, you were still able to enjoy a glimpse of Vancouver's charm.

Very beautiful trip

Zulfiyya_G, Aug 2026
We had a wonderful and very professional one-day trip from Seattle to Vancouver, BC. The tour bus was a full-size, very comfortable which made the long journey enjoyable and relaxing. Our tour guide, Chris, was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He made our first trip to Canada truly enjoyable and memorable from beginning to end. Even though the tour lasted about 10 to 11 hours, the time flew by because of the great experience he provided. Thank you, Chris, for making our trip so special! We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun, comfortable, and stress-free visit to Vancouver.

Would not recommend

Sonja_J, Jul 2026
This is not a well organized trip. We were left to wander around without understanding why we were dropped off at certain locations. The first stop. You’re dropped off to eat lunch given an hour and 15 minutes, but without having a clear understanding of the layout and what food options are available, we barely made it back to the bus in time after just eating lunch and did not get to enjoy the shopping. The driver drove in circles, trying to get to the steam Clock only to ask us if we really wanted to go I googled and found out why the roads were closed. It seems like the tour guide should have known this information. I’m not sure why the Canada Center is part of the tour. There is literally nothing to do there. Without any direction it felt like a wasted hour and a half. This was a poor experience and I do not recommend it. There are other ways to see Canada.

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Thank you for your feedback. We are truly sorry that your experience fell short of expectations. We have reviewed your concerns with our tour guide. We admit that the lunch stop guidance was insufficient, and we will improve our on-site briefings going forward. Regarding the detour and delays, they were caused by unexpected road closures and heavy traffic—our driver had to find alternative routes, and we regret any confusion this caused. As for the Canada Center stop, we understand it may not appeal to everyone, and we will reassess its value in our itinerary. Please rest assured that no sightseeing time was cut, though we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the extended coach time. We have already taken internal steps to strengthen our guides' communication and time management. We hope you will give us another chance to serve you better in the future.

From Seattle: Vancouver Day Trip, Stanley Park & Granville Island

Rosanna_C, Jul 2026
We were told by Viator it would be a six person maximum tour. Meanwhile, it was a small mini van packed with 10 large people. And a very rushed tour. Some of us opted for the FLYOVER which cut our experience in Vancouver short since we were combined with people who opted not to do the ride. While the tour guide was extremely kind, he was not up to par. He could have done more, said more to guide us. We overpaid for what we received. It was lackluster. Again, very rushed.

Response from Host, Jul 2026

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We genuinely appreciate hearing from our guests, as it helps us continuously improve our services. We’re sorry to learn that your experience did not meet your expectations and that you found the tour to be rushed. Please allow us to address your concerns. Regarding the group size, we would like to kindly clarify that the tour information disclosed on Viator states: “This tour/activity will have a maximum of 55 travelers.” We understand this may have differed from what you were expecting, and we regret any confusion caused. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the FlyOver experience and found it satisfying. At the same time, we are sorry the overall pacing of the day felt too fast and less leisurely than you would have preferred. Your feedback about feeling rushed is well noted, and we will review the itinerary flow with our team to see where we can better balance the experience for all guests. We also appreciate your kind words about our guide’s friendly attitude, while we take note of your constructive remarks about his guiding style. Please rest assured we will work with him to enhance commentary and engagement throughout the tour. Our aim is always to provide memorable and well-paced experiences, and we regret that we fell short in your case. We truly hope to have another opportunity to welcome you back and provide a more enjoyable and relaxed tour.

Frustrating day out

Rosemary_C, Jul 2026
The schedule for the day was ambitious and needs to be reviewed. None of the ‘pass by’ places were worth the time stuck in unmoving traffic, which left us frustrated trying to understand the reasoning behind it. Without them more time could be given to exploring places of interest.

Response from Host, Jul 2026

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments regarding your recent tour with us. We genuinely value your feedback, as it is essential in helping us review and improve our services. We are sorry to learn that the traffic conditions on the day detracted from your overall experience, and we would like to kindly clarify a misunderstanding that may have arisen as a result. Our scheduled itinerary included only one designated "pass-by" point — Chinatown. On that particular day, a citywide cycling event in Vancouver led to multiple road closures and unavoidable detours. The resulting traffic congestion in the downtown area was significant, and our guide, in an effort to keep you informed and make the best of the situation, took the initiative to point out and speak about various landmarks and areas that were visible along the detour route, or located nearby. We understand now that this well-intended commentary may have inadvertently created the impression that these were all planned stops or official "pass-by" sights on our itinerary, which they were not. Please accept our sincere apologies for any confusion or frustration this may have caused. The guide's intention was solely to ease the mood during the long delays, and it was never meant to replace time that should have been dedicated to the tour's featured attractions.Your feedback is extremely helpful, as it highlights the importance of clear communication with our guests, especially when unforeseen circumstances require adjustments on the road. We will be reminding our guiding team to clearly distinguish between scheduled itinerary highlights and impromptu commentary prompted by traffic or detours, so that such misunderstandings can be avoided in the future. We hope that despite the disruptions, you were still able to enjoy some memorable moments in Vancouver. We would be truly grateful for the opportunity to welcome you again and provide a much smoother and more rewarding experience.

The General Inconvenience of Travel

L_F, May 2026
The first guide on the trip unfortunately didn't have the proper documentation to get over the border (left it in his other pants) so we had to wait 2 hours in a parking lot while waiting on the backup guide to get there from Vancouver. This cast a pall on the rest of the trip, which the second guide handled okay. I'm sure Vancouver is very nice but I felt the tour was then too rushed to really see it. That's a part of traveling! Afterwards, the first guide asked what our favorite part of the trip was, no one said anything but then one woman said "the wait in the carpark" which made me laugh out loud--he didn't say anything after that :). The second guide's name was Kim who did a decent job, considering it was supposed to be his day off, went to Gasworks, Canada Place, walked around Stanley Park and Granville Island-there is a very nice restaurant/bar place at the hotel that is on the water with very nice views, scenery. I think if we could have continued with the original guide (Phil) it would have been a much better tour....

Response from Host, May 2026

Thank you for sharing your experience in detail. We are very sorry to hear that the tour got off to such a frustrating start due to our first guide, Phil, not having his passport with him. The two‑hour wait in the parking lot was completely unacceptable, and we sincerely apologize for the disruption this caused to your trip. We are glad that Kim stepped in and did his best under the circumstances, but we fully understand that the delay made the rest of the tour feel rushed. We have already sent you an email with our compensation offer of $20 USD as a gesture of goodwill. Please check your inbox (and spam folder) for our message, and feel free to reply to us directly. Once again, we apologize for letting you down on this tour, and we hope you will give us a chance to serve you better in the future.

A great experience.

Epic fail

Sue_J, May 2026
Disappointed with tour. Not a lot of information provided and hard to understand driver. Not worth the time, money or effort. Marathon was on in Vancouver and driver wasn’t aware and needed to be with traffic exclusion areas

Response from Host, May 2026

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are very sorry to hear that your tour experience did not meet expectations. Regarding the traffic situation in Vancouver, we have since confirmed with our tour guide that an international marathon took place in downtown Vancouver on that day, which caused severe and unexpected congestion. While the guide did his/her best to navigate around the affected areas, we regret that this impacted your tour experience. As for the commentary and communication concerns you raised, we have already reached out to you via our customer support channel to provide a compensation proposal. Once again, we sincerely apologize for the disappointment caused. We take your feedback seriously and will work to improve our guide’s awareness of local events and communication clarity moving forward.

Worst Experience EVER

Richard_H, Apr 2026
The absolute worst tour I've ever taken!! The guide was an hour late, never once introduced himself, got lost, did not speak English well and was very hard to understand. The tour was rushed and we were not even given time to eat lunch. We stood in line for the 4D Fly Over Canada experience only to be turned away with expired tickets provided by the guide - how embarrassing and frustrating. Concerns were escalated both internally and externally but to no avail. This was clearly a money-grab with absolute no regard for those wanting an enjoyable tour. Sad. Steer clear of this tour and this shady operator / company. Very disappointed that Viator didn't do a better job vetting.

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Please allow us to respond directly to each of your concerns based on our internal investigation.1. We understand that on the morning of the tour, only one inspection lane was open at the U.S.–Canada border, causing significant delays. The guide had planned to arrive in Seattle by 8:30 AM, but due to the border congestion and morning rush hour traffic, he arrived at 9:15 AM. The guide called all guests to inform them of the delay and kindly offered to cover the cost of breakfast at a nearby cafe while they waited. Upon arrival, he apologized multiple times to the group. We regret that this situation occurred, and while the delay was largely beyond the guide's control, we acknowledge the inconvenience it caused. 2. We are sorry that the guide's communication did not meet your expectations. We will provide additional training to this guide to improve his self-introduction, clarity of speech, and overall guest interaction. 3. The guide originally planned a lunch break before the 2:00 PM "Fly Over Canada" show. However, the group collectively expressed a preference to have lunch after the experience. As a result, lunch took place between approximately 2:40 PM and 3:10 PM. The guide requested that everyone return to the meeting point by 3:00 PM to proceed to Stanley Park. You returned at 3:15 PM. While this did not allow time for a full sit-down meal, you were still able to purchase and enjoy lunch. We regret that this felt rushed to you. 4. Expired tickets for the 4D Fly Over Canada experience: We have investigated this matter thoroughly. The guide personally purchased the tickets in downtown Vancouver the day before the tour, as online purchase was not available. Unfortunately, the ticket agent issued tickets with the previous day's date. Due to limited parking and time constraints downtown, the guide did not double-check the tickets at the moment of purchase. When the issue was discovered on the tour day, the guide immediately contacted the manager and had the tickets corrected to the correct date (still for the 2:00 PM show). Therefore, you did not miss the experience. Nevertheless, we completely understand how embarrassing and frustrating it may have felt. We sincerely apologize for that distress. While many of the unexpected situations described were partially beyond the guide's control, we fully acknowledge that your overall experience was not smooth and did not meet the standard of enjoyment you rightfully expected. For the inconvenience and frustration caused, we would like to offer you a partial refund as a gesture of goodwill. Once again, we deeply apologize for the difficulties you encountered. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to investigate and respond. We hope you will allow us the chance to serve you better in the future.

Nice time

Janet_G, Feb 2026
My husband and I had a good time. There wasn't a whole lot of informative dialog; the driver mostly told us which streets were best for shopping and the ones to avoid. It felt like a shopping excursion to Vancouver. But the driver did well getting us there safely, especially given that it raining traveling over and back. He was kind and friendly, the van was just very quiet of conversation unless there were times being given for arrival at our 5 stops. All in all, we had fun. We just wish we would've heard more about the areas we visited.
