Saturday 18th July: Due to several road closures, Stop 8 Historic Chinatown Gate & International District will be closed for the entire day. Customers should use Stop 9 Panama Hotel & Tea House, which will remain open and is just a short walk away

Overall it was a good experience to see Seattle without the hassle of driving but the wait was very long to get on. On top of that, the bench in front of us on the upper level broke while two normal sized people were sitting on it during our ride. They luckily did not get hurt but we had to hold the bench with our feet so that it would not slide around and injure us or others. Finally, after awhile a worker came up to inform us of a layover and we pointed it out to her. She was able to carry the broken bench off the bus. Thankfully no one was hurt. But definitely inconvenient to sit holding it in place.

Sound problem

The sound system on the first bus we got on was very poor. We could never understand what the tape was telling us about the sites we were supposed to be seen. We got on a second bus after the Pike Place market and that bus was in very good condition regarding the sound system

Stops hard to find, buses full won’t let you on

It was difficult to find the bus stops. We waited 35 minutes for a bus for the driver to tell us it was full. Then we ubered to pikes market, as we were leaving, again walked around a long time trying to find the sign. Waited for the bus for 30 minutes. The bus went 4 stops or so then told us they were taking a 15 minute break for the driver. We just ubered back to the hotel. Not recommended.

Good experience except for the annoying travelers on the next seat over who yapped thru all the tour narrations. Glad we rode it twice. Narrations were informative but a live person would have been better. Ignore the bad reviews you see. The bus was fine. Yeah, the seats are hard, but they are on all ones I have been on. The route was perfect. Didn’t have to wait too long for a bus. I recommend highly. Today, we will visit one of the areas we passed.

The tour was ok. I was expecting an open top bus but we had a closed top bus. The driver didn’t have a microphone and the pre recorded announcement did not match up with the landmark. The speaker was too loud. Up side, I come to Seattle quite a bit and I’m driving so it was nice to see the landmarks without running off the road. I would recommend it if you haven’t seen the sites and there are some great places to hop on and off.

The buses were clean, drivers were all friendly and I saw more of Seattle in one day than I have in the several other times I've visited. It was great! The only issue I encountered was finding the first location. There are signs at the hop on/off locations but they're not huge so it took me a minute to find. But otherwise, it was great!

I’d Pass on This One!

This was a pretty junky bus and sub par tour in comparison to other Hop On Hop Off tours we have enjoyed in several major cities. The 2 level tour bus was dirty and the seats were uncomfortable. The sound system was broken in several of our buses and we did not get the tour narration as we traveled around the city. This made it difficult to know when the stops were approaching, additionally there wasn’t time to come down the steps from the upper level seating to the main level to get off the bus before it began to move again. This hop on hop off tour was not worth the cost of the activity. I do not recommend.

Huge disappointment

It seems the company is constantly "down a driver." So instead of running every 30 minutes (as advertised) the buses run about every 75 - 90 minutes. We were waiting for the bus for over an hour. And by then, the line for the bus was atrocious. The ticketing machine was broken, so the agents had to spend an extra 20 minutes ticketing individuals already on the bus. Since there was such a long wait between busses, there was no opportunity to "hop off" or risk being stranded for over an hour. Poorly run. Overly crowded. Huge disappointment, as I have had such as pleasant experiences with other Hop On Hop Off tours in other cities.

The hop on hop off bus took a long time to make the loop on the map. Their schedule was 10-4. It need to run longer so we could have enjoyed more stops. Oh and our bus broke down causing us to lose about an hour or so. 😞
