Buses were supposed to run on 30 minute intervals and on both days of our 48 hour passes the buses ran significantly behind. On the 1st day delays were 45 minutes to 1 hour. On the 2nd day they were under staffed drivers due to call offs. As a result we waited up to 1-1/2 hours at stops for a bus to show up. As a result the number of possible stops were limited on the number we could visit.

We understand how frustrating it must have been to wait 45 minutes to 1 hour on your 1st day, and up to 1-1/2 hours on your 2nd day due to driver call-offs and being understaffed. We completely understand that as a result, the number of stops you could visit was limited, and this affected the value of your 48-hour ticket. This is absolutely not the experience we want to provide.
Please be assured that we have shared your comments with our local operations team in Seattle as a matter of priority. We are reviewing our scheduling, contingency planning for staff shortages, and real-time communication at stops to avoid such long delays in the future.

Very disorganized! Very old bus. Not handicapped accessible (there was a customer treated terribly in her mobility scooter—abysmal really). The driver seemed to be frazzled either because of the scooter or just hated his job— not sure. The recorded tour was way too loud and way out of sync. Absolutely not worth the price!

We are very concerned to hear that the service felt very disorganized, that the bus you were on was very old, and that the recorded tour was way too loud and out of sync. We are especially sorry and concerned about what you witnessed regarding accessibility. All our buses should be accessible, and every guest, including guests with a mobility scooter, must be treated with respect, patience and care. Good way to see the city. I booked for the wrong day in error. Barely looked at my ticket. I would reccommend much better signage, flags or similar. Not easy to locate.

Worst hop on hop off I have ever been on. Almost had to step in front of bus to get them to stop . Narration almost never finished because we already passed the stop they were talking about. Way too long of a wait for buses to pick you up for the price paid.

The program that is ran describing the city didn’t announce the stops!!! How do you get off the bus and walk back to the missed stop in a strange city? There should be a way to alert the driver from the top of the bus that you want off.

the taped over narrator kept skipping. It may help to have her tell you that "the next stop is X minutes away at the Pikes Market(for example) and this is what we are seeing right now". I really did listen to what she was saying.

The shuttles were very convenient to get around Seattle. We rode the entire route the first time to plot out the activities around the city. The recorded narrator provided a ton of information. It saved us a lot of Ubers and walking.

Unreliable and failing to provide the service we paid for.
Waited over an hour to get on our first bus at 11:05 (a bus that arrived 10 minutes before that was full.)
The bus that we were on stopped after 9 stops and we were all told to get off. Now on another bus, but told it will not be leaving for 30 minutes.
In 3 hours we have travelled 9 stops.
Unfortunately, I bought a 48 hour ticket. I would like to request a refund. I have previously used this service in various countries and it has always been brilliant - I do not recommend the Seattle Hop-on/Hop-off and sadly, I can’t see it being any different this afternoon or tomorrow.

The HOHO bus is a great way to explore the city. Keep in mind that you need to get an early start for the best experience if you want to see everything at the stops.

We waited over a hour for a bus that was supposed to come every 15 minutes, we have taken several tours with Viator and will no longer do so. The person at the booth could have cared less, no help whatsoever!

if you dont have a lot of time but still want to enjoy the hotspots, this is the way to go. Hop on to get the vieuw and the story and hop off where you want to explore in more deprh. I got off for the Chuhuli Exhibition and the Museum of Pop and then Pier 54 for a nice lunch while spending the rest of the tour comfortably on the bus. Seattle in one day!

The bus tour was poor, no headphones waited for 40 minutes at stop 1 even though it should have left after 10 minutes. It appears only one bus working. Not worth the money. There are many others forms of transport cheaper.

It may take longer than 20 or 30 minutes for a bus to appear. It actually took 1 1/2 hours or 90 minutes to get on a bus.
We purchasrd our tickets on line in the morning and went to the pick-up area. After 30 minutes, I called to see why there was no tour bus. I was told it would be there in 20 or 30 minutes at the location that I was at. We waited and of course no bus came by. After a few more calls by all of us, it was determined that the bus doesn't stop at that location on Saturdays. So we looked for another location, more than a mile away. We couldn't find it. They are not marked very well. After seeing an actual physical bus stop at a pick-up point. We went to that spot and waited for another bus to show up. It took an hour and a half before one showed up. Am I disappointed in regard to the bus tour, I would have to say yes, very disappointed. I am also extremely disappointed in the majority of the personnel that we all spoke with on the phone. They really don't know anything about the tour buses. They are a third party organization; they did there best but they are not very well informed. I believe that they had to call the touring company and then relay their messages to us.

Hop on hop off i seattle. Bus was filthy dirty.
Coul only sit in upper deck down stairs was hot with no ventilation windows did not open and so dirty couldn't see out.

Got on the the bus at Space Needle, got off at stop 4, bus driver was clueless. He drove badly, had to hold on to your seats. When we asked if the particular stop we hopped off was the right stop he had no idea what the stop was.
Then we waited 45 minutes to get back on the after doing activities at stop 4.
Bus never arrived, so walked the rest of the day. Honesty never saw another bus at any point. There were also others waiting for the bus, tried to track the bus, but no success.
Requested a refund or the option to have tickets reissued for use on another day, but this was declined.
I mean we paid for a 20 stop trip, used it once. Complete waste of money, and driver had no idea of the activities at the stop.

Be aware of the tree branches if you sit on top. The city definately needs to trip some of them. But definately sit on top.

Overall it was a good experience to see Seattle without the hassle of driving but the wait was very long to get on. On top of that, the bench in front of us on the upper level broke while two normal sized people were sitting on it during our ride. They luckily did not get hurt but we had to hold the bench with our feet so that it would not slide around and injure us or others. Finally, after awhile a worker came up to inform us of a layover and we pointed it out to her. She was able to carry the broken bench off the bus. Thankfully no one was hurt. But definitely inconvenient to sit holding it in place.

The sound system on the first bus we got on was very poor. We could never understand what the tape was telling us about the sites we were supposed to be seen.
We got on a second bus after the Pike Place market and that bus was in very good condition regarding the sound system

It was difficult to find the bus stops. We waited 35 minutes for a bus for the driver to tell us it was full. Then we ubered to pikes market, as we were leaving, again walked around a long time trying to find the sign. Waited for the bus for 30 minutes. The bus went 4 stops or so then told us they were taking a 15 minute break for the driver. We just ubered back to the hotel. Not recommended.
