It was a wonderful experience and while my aunt was a tourist, I was a local and learned so much during the tour that I would have never imagined. I highly recommend this tour and especially with Leila, one of the best tour guides I've ever seen. She was kind and energetic with the explanations while remaining respectful with the cases she talked about. Please please give this tour a chance because you won't regret it and you'll be hooked the entire time.

Wow! This was a super awesome tour. RT was our guide and he was just so knowledgeable and friendly. Not only did he go over murder mysteries, but he also made sure we knew about the history of San Diego. He showed us historical buildings and the tales behind them as well. I would totally take this tour again and highly recommend it.

Great fun to learn some of the history of San Diego as well as some of the things that had happened in the Red Light District. Our guide was knowledgeable and a good story teller. I appreciate that they ran the tour for our small group

Absolute blast walking through gaslamp quarter and hearing about murders that took place there! Great story telling, not too much walking but a good distance. Highly recommend - not too long, not too short.

The Tour was not to our expectation.
The tour guise was a very old lady named Lailaa in her eighties.
The tour was not at all exciting.
The tour guide did not make the tour exciting as she was very very old by age.
We found the tour boring.
we regretted that we booked this tour with Viator spending so much money.

True Crime tour was good. The information discussed was great, however my wife and I thought there was no real delivery behind what was being said by our guide. She could have been more expressive in our opinion.

We loved our guide! She was fun, informative and genuinely interested in all she was talking about. It was a great way to spend an afternoon and it was fun to walk around the area, learning some of the history and spooky stories.

Our tour was great! No spoilers, but the stories were super interesting and loved touring the city. Our guide was awesome! She brought the tour to like and we all had a few laughs along the way! She was great and I highly recommend the tour for anyone looking to kick off an evening in the Gaslamp Quarter.
Another great factor is once the tour is gone, you’re right there on the bar streets where all the action is! 10/10 would recommend.

Did not enjoy this tour. The person leading the tour was very nice, but it was hard to hear with the background noises of being in a downtown area. Just not what I was expecting!

This tour was a waste of $60. Not only could you not hear the tour guide because she wouldn’t use the microphone but there was very little info given on the tour.

Tour guide was excellent. Gave very detailed accounts of various gory murders. Total tour time was just over 1:20 thru main streets of San Diego’s gas lamp district. Recommended.

Terrible. The gal who ran our tour struggled to maintain the story line of the true crime. She was nice but complained about her ADHD most of the 60 minutes. I am an educator by trade, so the history was important to me, but difficult to follow. I have used VIATOR 20 times all over the world and this was the worst.

Our guide was knowledgeable and we learned a lot of history. However, we were very disappointed on the type of tour this was. We were expecting this to be more muster mystery interactive tour where we had the chance to solve a case. Please include that in the description.

A nice walking tour around the gaslamp quarter learning about the history of the area and some murders. Fans of true crime stories would enjoy this tour.
Luna our guide was great. Also, customer service was awesome as we had an unforeseen late cancellation of one of our group and they refunded us the price of that ticket.

I loved how he would start by giving us some clues before revealing the crime. He would also give us some history of the buildings and sites.
