We cannot recommend the Vespa sidecar tour with Luxurbe enough! Booking was a breeze, and when their driver was sick, they quickly reached out to reschedule. We were able to find a new time that worked perfectly, and from the moment we met Luca and Massimo, we knew we were in for something special.
Riding through Rome in a Vespa sidecar was exhilarating—there’s nothing like feeling the wind on your face while seeing the city’s incredible sights from this unique perspective. Luca and Massimo were fantastic guides, sharing interesting stories and pointing out hidden gems along the way. They were patient, friendly, and made us feel safe while still letting us experience the thrill of the ride.
For our kids, this was by far the highlight of their time in Rome. Teenagers especially will love it—it’s fun, cool, and a completely different way to explore the city beyond the usual walking tours. We got to see so much in just a few hours, and the sidecar experience made it unforgettable.
If you’re visiting Rome and want a mix of adventure, sightseeing, and a little bit of “wow” factor, this tour is an absolute must. Thank you, Luca and Massimo, for making our day so special—we’ll never forget it!

Wonderful guide as we had Matt, he brought us to places I’d not seen for the last beautiful views of Rome. He is a total local and even had really special stories about his family and tradition. We will never forget and ask for Matt! He is the Best.

This has been a most regretted experience that our group of 7 people had. First I received a call a day before the trip that due to the expected rain they have cancelled our Vespa trip and alternatively give us golf cart trip. Since we had no choice, we said ok for this but on reaching the pickup point next day we were received a call from the operator and were informed that they do not have a cart for more than 5 people. We were told the bigger cart will come in some time for which we waited for an hour and finally they refused to arrange the same or anything alternatively possible. We were left stranded on the street with no clarity. Very smartly and very politely finally after waiting for an hour the operator guy said we are sorry that we are not able to provide our service and further I have no more information from my senior. Till today we have not heard anything from them or even not received our refund. There is surely no basic respect or sense of service from the organisers for their customers. Dont know if this a normal culture in Italy or with this operator.

Luxurbe uses automated capacity checks to prevent overbooking or vehicle mismatches.
Groups larger than 5 are automatically assigned multiple carts, eliminating the possibility of last-minute shortages.
Our operations team provides written updates (WhatsApp + SMS + email) in real time, so guests are never left without information.
Refunds for cancelled services are processed within 24 hours and confirmed in writing.
What you describe does not reflect our current service standards.

This was amazing! We did the tour with my husband and 3 kids. It was the highlight of their trip. The youngest is 8yrs old, and felt completely safe in the side car. We got lots of attention and my kids felt like celebrities going through the streets of Rome in these beautiful vespas.

Our Sidecar Vespa experience is designed for 2 adults in the sidecar and, when there are 3 participants, one rides as a passenger on a second Vespa. This configuration is included in the product description, but we understand it may not have been as clear as it should have been and will work to improve communication.
Regarding the narration, we regret if you had difficulty hearing from the second Vespa. We are currently reviewing audio solutions to ensure every guest can enjoy the guide’s commentary more comfortably.

We booked 5 rides- two adults, two teens, and a senior citizen. We were very pleased with the tour and the Vespa rides. Our guides were knowledgeable about the city and fun to converse with. The only drawback was that we had ordered 5 sidecars and only one of the vespas had a side car. (The rest of us sat on the back of the Vespa seat with the drivers.) Also, it was hard to get in touch with the guides before the experience. We waited for a while but our guide did not see us at first and we didn't know who to look for.

Although Roberto and his crew deserve 5 stars, this is not as it’s advertised and has nothing to do with them, the drivers were amazing!!
There was 4 of us on the tour. There was ONE side car, the others are on the back of the Vespa, I expected at a minimum two side cars and swapping between people. When I reached out I was told “read the ad, it’s a Vespa side car tour”. Yes, that’s exactly how I read it not a Vespa tour. Beware!!

We showed up for our sidecar tour w our kids and there were no sidecars. The kids didn’t feel comfortable to sit on the bAck of the Vespa . I asked if they could get the sidecars and I was told they were all broken. Thankfully we were refunded but never did get to do the tour

My wife booked this very late in our trip to Rome it was a fantastic way to round off a wonderful break. The tour guide on the bike was very knowledgable and friendly. Our son sat in the sidecar and we switched being on back of the bike (with sidecar) and one on another bike. The bikes stopped off at most of the notable landmarks some great viewpoints and had 5-10 minutes each location for a photo. Superb value and our son loved everyone waving to him while zipping around the city. Great exhilaration when the bike pulls away reaching 60kmph. One of the best experiences had on a city break by far. Highly recommend!

The experience was very satisfying. Fabrizio took us prudently through Rome with an open and committed attitude. He took us to the monuments we had left to visit and made an effort to do so in our language as a sign of his kindness.
At the end of the experience we were able to take pictures in the Sidecar and recommended several places to eat or dine as a local.
