Our tour was merged with another company. This meant we were informed we would depart 30 minutes late. The tour we were joined with had more elements. Therefore, we were asked if we wanted to pay more, wait for the guide, or inconvenience the remaining group to have our portion offered first. We were kind, and offered to wait for 45-60 mins while they went on without us. We sent communications with the tour company, and the guide we were originally speaking with regularly asking if we were forgotten. We had no answer until we asked for a refund. At which point, we were asked to wait a minute to determine where our guide was. After 15 minutes, we sent another message saying we were leaving, as it had now been 2 hours! We were clearly…Forgotten. When we returned, the guide was there chatting. He claimed he had looked for 30 minutes for us. This bold lie was when we were finally compelled to make a complaint. We had not moved from our seat the entire time- where he told us to sit.
