- Please be informed that the Vatican Museums provide wheelchair free of charge in the main lobby. You can easily pick one up upon entering, before starting your own independent visit.
- Please note also that - the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica maintains a strict dress code year-round. All visitors must have their shoulders covered and pants/skirts must come to the knee. Please wear comfortable shoes.
- If you are looking for a tour with wheelchair access you can choose our private wheelchair accessible tour so our guide can lead you through an alternate route.
- Backpacks, tripods and big umbrellas must be left inside the cloakroom upon entering Vatican Museum. To reduce any disruption for your group, we recommend that backpacks are not taken on this tour.
- Please arrive 10 minutes before the activity starts. Late commers will not be accomodated.
- The ticket is valid only for indivutual entrance. No guided tours can be done with this type of tickts. No external guide will be acceted. Please buy the official Guided tour offrered by Nicom Tours.

I am giving this 5 stars because the museum and chapel are outstanding . I will say that the location of ticket pickup was not even mentioned in my booking. I finally had to contact the tour operator (it said Nicom tours on the booking) to be told to come to a tour office called Tours About to get my ticket. This may have been through no fault of rheies but it should be clear in the confirmation. Every other thing I have booked is very clear. Had I not reached out I would have missed my timed entrance by walking around the Vatican entrance looking for this tour company.

We did skip the line self guided tour. The instructions provided by this group for gathering place and tickets was so simple and easy to follow. I had a different experience in 2021. I would highly recommend this company!

I did not get my tickets to the Vatican after paying $88.4 which is double the amount at the door. They said I was late therefore no refund. I will dispute with the credit card company

The Sistine chapel was gorgeous! The museum was cool, but I wish there was more information on the Vatican itself. Skipping the line was great but it was still super busy.

Vatican museum was beautiful. Sistine Chapel even better.. you have to get skip the line tix… when you walk and see all those people standing in line, in the 98 degree weather your just ready to start thanking God.. it was worth the extra money…

I bought these tickets the day before. I wanted to be able to skip the line and see the Vatican my own pace w my spouse. That’s exactly what I got. The meeting place was easy to find. We checked in. I was there 30 min early per the reviews I read. Check in was easy. We got our stickers. Waited in line and walked about a block w the rest of the group that bought the same tickets. Skipped the line and went in through the metal detector as expected. Waited about 10 min to be given our individual tickets and walked right in. I selected the 11am slot and we were all in and done by 11:15. Please make sure you’re at least 30 min early and everything should go as planned. I was pleased with our purchase.

My wife and daughter did this experience today. They said it was great with nil issues. We were lucky as I only booked it the night before and they got to skip the queues. They said without these tickets they would have been waiting for hours in line.

Beautiful almost seems unreal. Well worth seeing. I will say the museum is huge and a lot to look at. It's hot in there and just tons of people. You could spend all day there.

Glad we purchased fast track as the other queue was so long and would take an hour to get in. Had to puck up tickets at the local tourist office but someone there walked with us to the museum and arranged our tickets on entry. By not having a guide, we were able to view things at our own pace which was an advantage.

Everything you think you know about the Sistine chapel or Vatican City will be far under what it’s really worth. Astounding beautiful. Fast track is well worth the money as there were hundreds of people waiting in lines that went around the corner of the street.

I would not tour The Vatican again. There are too many people to actually see much. We ended up with a guided tour and it was not worth the upgrade. We saw it but would not go back.

i only booked the tickets the night before and I was surprised that I got them. My son was happy that we got the tickets as this was our last day in Rome. He really enjoyed the museums.

Finding the ticket place was a challenge. We ran late because of bad directions from St Peter’s. We were not really interested in the museum and just wanted a fast track to the chapel. There apparently isn’t one. It took us nearly an hour to get to the chapel not stopping to view museum pieces. Very frustrating experience

There was a gentle guide who helped us with the tickets. The monuments were interesting, especially the chapel Sistine and the rooms with the maps and the carpets! Wonderful

I attempted to contact the tour company to let them know that we were running late, but I was unable to get ahold of anyone. When we arrived, the address was incorrect. Instead, there was a hand written sign that directed us to go to a different address. The tour operator was not listed at the new address, but we went inside anyway and were told it was the correct place. We were then told that we lost the tour and were not eligible to receive a refund. We were offered a spot for a later tour, but the clerk would only take cash… and the ATM machine in the office charged a $30 fee to withdraw the money for the tour. Seemed like a scam. The tour itself was mediocre. We ended up paying hundreds of dollars for an OK at best experience.

We had our on line confirmations with us….we got a cab to the address we were given on line to pick up our tickets….there was a sign directing us to another address…we were already stressed about being late. The man at that ticket outlet was very abrupt…he wanted to upswell us to other tours…finally he gave us our ‘skip’ sticker and basically ushered us out. He was very rude to the people before us in the line. Too long of a wait outside, very crowded and the leader of our group walked too fast for us to keep up. We enjoyed the Vatican but not the experience we had with Viator

These are just tickets to skip the line to the Vatican museums. And it was very helpful! The line to get in to the museums the day we went was very long, we were told over an hour. It felt great walking right past the line to get right in. Inside, there is no real line into the Sistine Chapel.

We arrived at the provided address an hour before our tour, only to find a sign that the business was closed and would not reopen until 2 hours after our tour was supposed to be. We asked another company down the road for help, and they directed us to a second address that was not provided. Multiple customers were already there and expressed a similar problem. The workers told them that there was nothing they can do, and they cannot offer a refund. This caused many frustrated customers and caused the workers to raise their voices at the patrons and insult them.
Not to mention, we did not actually receive a skip the line tour, just a guided walk to the ticket booth where we were left on our own. This company is poorly run and seems like they intentionally mislead customers to force panic buying for fear of missing out. Would NOT recommend.

In the end we could go into the museum, but the way to it was rocky and very frustrating. The place we had to meet in order to go to the museum was unclear and chaotic. After we finally found the meeting spot, the man from the company begged for a good review, then we would get the tickets we had lost as we were too late due to the vagueness of the place we had to meet.
It is a lot easier and quicker to just wait in the queue and buy tickets in de actual museum instead of online with a “skip the line”. You still have to wait really long.
