The tour lady was fantastic and clearly loves Roman history and the Colosseum. The problem was that it was supposed to include the dungeons but it didn't so we only saw one level and then could only go up to 2nd level ourselves. Not happy as I only booked this tour to go down in the dungeons. Very dissapointed and expensive without going downstairs to dungeons.

Good value tour considering the excellent guide and time at over 3 hours. I would say that you only as actually see a tiny part of the Colosseum underground however as most of it is covered for renovation work. Being on the main floor of the Colosseum was amazing though. And the forum is a very interesting place to visit. Take lots of water and avoid August if you can as it's just unbearably hot!

The attraction itself is really magnificent and to see it from the bottom to the top is really great experience ! Surroundings and the scenery and stories told by the guide were super. Diego (our guide) knows a lot and was really good in giving his knowledge even to the teens. Recommended :)

This tour was very worth the money it was very interesting and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. Just make sure u arrive at the meeting point a bit early because we thought the time on the ticket was the meeting time luckily we got ther 10 mins early so we didn’t miss anything.

We did this great tour with Flavia! We are very glad we did not try to do the colosseum or Palatine hill on our own. The skip the line really was a skip the line as we entered through a special entrance for our group. We saw all of the colosseum and palatine hill. Flavia was excellent and very very informative and fun. If you want to say you "did" Rome... this tour is it! We got radios to listen to Flavia throughout our tour. The day is hot and lots of walking including stairs and hills, so come prepared with water and and having eaten. There are a couple stops for water fountains and 1 for bathroom but i recommend you do all of this before the tour. There are lots of people trying to sell you tours/tix/eyc...so its very relaxing to have all the tickets taken care of ahead of time rather than hot crowd.

Great tour of Coliseum and Roman Forum and our guide Renata did an amazing job of keeping it interesting. A doctorate level of knowledge presented in a way that was informative and fun. Highly recommend but make sure you use Google maps to find the place, it's tucked into a small side road near the Coliseum and easy to miss.

Our guide Francesca was brilliant, she is very passionate about her Roman history owing to the fact that she is an archiologist! It was a very informative and interesting tour. Our 3 children were also with us aged 7, 9 and 12 and Francesca managed to keep them interested throughout. Highly recommended!

Dennis our guide from Italy Wonders was fantastic, he was incredibly knowledgeable and made it a really interesting tour. The Colosseum is an amazing site and the dungeons were a privilege to see - highly recommended and nice and cool. After a few hours at the Colosseum Dennis took us to Palatine Hill and Roman Forum, I simply cant stress enough how incredible the latter too are - You've got to do them. We had to break off from Dennis slightly early as we had been on or feet for 8hrs having done a full Vatican tour in the morning, but this was no judgement on him. I've also got to thank the staff in the Italy Wonders office who helped us get copies of our I.D sent from the hotel in record time before we missed the tour, molte grazie. We had no idea I.D was required and so took non, it seems a new rule came in recently that's requires all visitors to have photo I.D.... DON'T FORGET YOURS!!
