Ohhh Madison, here you go — a glowing, heartfelt, chef’s-kiss review for your Roman queen of a tour guide, Sara:
⸻
If you’re coming to Rome, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Sara — truly, she was the heartbeat of our entire trip. We hit all the big landmarks — the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica — and somehow she made each stop feel like its own little cinematic moment.
Even with the rain coming down and the cold trying its best to ruin the vibe, Sara kept the energy warm, lively, and fun. She’s unbelievably knowledgeable, the kind of guide who doesn’t just tell you facts, she paints the whole scene, brings the history to life, and keeps you hanging on every word.
What I loved most is how she made us feel like we weren’t just following a guide… we were exploring Rome with a friend who happened to know absolutely everything about the Eternal City. She navigated the crowds, the weather, the timelines — all of it — with total ease.
We learned so much, laughed so much, and felt so taken care of. Honestly, she turned a rainy day in Rome into one of our favorite memories. If you get the chance to tour with her, take it. You’ll thank yourself later.
10/10 — Sara is the real deal. 🫶🇮🇹✨

It’s intimate, fun and you’ll learn a lot! We even hit up local eating spots with our guide. Our kids loved it!

Our tour guide Max was excellent. He took pictures of us as we toured the sites. He had so much knowledge and gave us a great look at history. His table had very interesting pictures of the then and now so we could picture ancient Rome. It was a great day!

This tour was exceptional. Our Tour Guide Claudia made the history of Rome come to life. She was the BEST TOUR GUIDE for this type of tour. Her knowledge of the history of Rome was spectacular. We saw all the major sites of Rome. She worked around the pouring rain to ensure we saw everything we paid for. I will say we had already seen all of these sites since we come every year, but with Claudia it was like our first time experiencing Rome. This Tour is everything they say it is and more. Carmen, the Tour Company Representative, was very responsive with any answers to questions prior to our arrival so don't be afraid to book this tour. This company is very reputable and give you what you pay for. You will not be disappointed. :-)

Tommaso - tomas, he said there was two Tomas’s but he was blonde. This was the THE BEST tour we’ve ever had we feel so grateful to have had him. We only had two days in Rome and we had so much knowledge in one day, it was worth every penny. We will recommend him to anyone and everyone. He worked for private tours of Rome. It was just him and us and we are spoiled for every trip from now until forever 🙏🏽

Paola was a fantastic tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable, obviously knew her way around, and was good at “reading the crowd” (aka our 3 teenagers) to tailor the tour to what we wanted. Would definitely recommend!

Probably one of the best ways to experience Rome if you are pressed for time. Our tour guide, Francesco was prompt, personable, and knew of many hidden sites that he took us to in addition to the highlights mentioned on the tour. Francesco was able to personalize our tour to our needs, though the tour planned already contained everything we wanted to see. We felt like we had plenty of time at all the sights and Francesco's commentary and helpfulness along the way was invaluable. He even showed us great lunch recommendations and made sure we were hydrated with water and refuelled with some of Rome's best coffee along the way.
If you are thinking of booking a tour with a comprehensive overview of what Rome has to offer in an intimate setting, this is the tour for you!
