I had scheduled a tour of St Peter's Basilica, and this tour is not guided. The tour guide tells you highlights prior to but does not accommodate you.

We know that St. Peter's Basilica is an important part of your experience, that's why we provide priority fast-track access (skipping the security lines) together with a professional introduction by the guide to give historical context before you continue exploring independently inside. This format allows our guests to enjoy the Basilica comfortably and flexibly, especially since the Basilica can unfortunately close suddenly without notice for various reasons (religious ceremonies, papal events, etc.), which would disrupt a full guided tour. We completely understand that some travelers expect a complete guided tour of the Basilica as well, and we truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention — it helps us make our pre-tour communications even clearer so we can better address any differences in expectations upfront. Despite this, I hope you were still able to enjoy the incredible art and history of the Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Great experience! Our guide was very knowledgeable and asked a ton of questions to make sure we saw everything we could. Budget for at least 4 hours to get the full experience and also be prepared for crowds.

It was a great tour. Would not go to the Vatican without a guide. She was great in helping us navigate a very very crowded space pointing out things that she thought we’d like or couldn’t miss. Also unique that you do both the Vatican museums and St. Peter’s in one tour as many of the tours we saw did only one or the other. No hesitation would highly recommend

Beatrice was a great tour guide for our family. She kept our kids (age 9, 11) engaged by keeping the conversation kid appropriate and engaging. We missed the opportunity to see the Pieta at St. Peter’s because I misunderstood a question she asked me about stopping there. But overall, we had a very positive experience on this tour.

Wish I had more time. So much to see.

The biggest surprise was St. Peter’s. We were awe struck at its size and beauty. Enjoyed they other portions very much. I wish I would have had family make lust of items to make sure we see. With the shirt time you can not skim some areas. Lia was very good except one area. We skipped the gift shop inside and quickly walked us outside to a shop that seemed expensive and never had the chance at the inside one. Still a little upset about that.
