Nicola was fabulous. He was a wealth of information and he made the tour incredibly fun and also catered to what we were interested in seeing I highly recommend!!! He gave us time for photos at the Colosseum, the pantheon and at the Trevi fountain. Perfect tour for a single person or family.

Oh how I wish everyone could have the evening we had! This was truly the highlight of our entire Rome trip - our guide, Mario (of the famous Mario Cart 😉) was a blend of humor and knowledge that made for a fun and enlightening night. Not only did we learn so much about the history of Rome, we learned insider details about growing up locally. Make sure to brush up on some history - Mario will act as a trivia host throughout to keep you on your toes. But don’t stress, you’ll be rewarded with some of the best kept Roman treats in the city. You’ll see iconic sights, get some amazing photos, and leave with a greater passion for ancient times. Truly cannot recommend this tour enough.

An amazing and unforgettable night tour around the city, zooming on main roads and cobblestone alleyways with Mario. Excellent guide and historian but definitely not boring. Wow, this was absolutely incredible experience? We had literally gotten into Rome one hour before our time so we were nervous. We were gonna miss it. This was our first night in Rome and we had the best driver / tour guide 🔥 Maximus knows everything about Rome and took us to all of the usual spots and to places we never heard of. So much history here. It was a really cold night smd I was so happy that he had blankets for us we were able to get off to get pictures. It’s truly the best way to start the trip. We knew so much by the time we explored on our own.

This was an excellent tour to get our bearings in the Eternal City! Filippo was our driver and he was awesome, he pointed out places of interest during the drive, and showed us his favorite church outside of the more touristy ones which was absolutely stunning. He also took us to the Malta Keyhole and explained the history behind it, which we asked for outside of the list of places listed. We weren’t rushed at all and Filippo was a great guide. We loved this tour and had a fantastic time, would absolutely recommend on your first night in Rome to get acquainted with the city!

Nicola was amazing! If I could give him ten stars I would! We done the night time tour in Rome and he told us all about the history of everywhere we went with fascinating stories! As two non history people he kept us interested for the full two hours not just with the views but with his dialogue! You can tell he loves his city! I have visited Rome approximately 15 times, and I thought I had seen it all. It wasn’t until this past week when we took a tour with our incredible guide Nicola, that I realized how much more there was to see and learn.
To start, the tour included being picked up directly at our hotel, (make sure you check with them as this service does depend on where your hotel is located), but it was convenient from the very beginning. Our guide Nicola picked us up, spoke perfect English, was friendly, and so engaging! He told us exactly what we would do, where we would go and what we would see. We started at the Colosseum from a beautiful, picturesque location, and he gave us a wonderful history of the building, and many details we never knew.
From there, we went to Circus Maximus, drank water from a fountain fed by an ancient aqueduct. We then went to one of most incredible spots I never knew about, and we went up to Aventino hill where I was stunned by the beauty at the Headquarters of the Knights of Malta, where we looked through the keyhole to the perfectly framed out view of the dome of St Peters. This location in one of Rome’s most beautiful neighborhoods was something I never knew about, and something I definitely think was worth seeing.
Nicola made sure to drive us past many historical locations, pulling over to describe where we were, and why they were significant to the history of Rome. His knowledge was unmatched and verified by my constant Google searching throughout the ride. (Side note, when we started, Nicola asked if there was anything in particular we wanted to see, and he could have tailored the tour a bit to your liking.)
We also made stops at the Pantheon, one of my favorite buildings in the world, Piazza Navona, and the Trevi Fountain. At each location, he provided a full description of what to look for, where to find it, and the best place to get pictures. While the Police don’t always let him leave the golf cart unattended, there was only one occasion when he could not walk with us, but each stop, he was our guide, our security, our photographer, and he cleared a path so that our pictures were just us, no one else lurking in the background or walking in front of us!
What may not be a highlight for all, but when you have a 9 year old with you it certainly is, we stopped for one of the best gelatos I’ve ever had. To make it even better for my 9 year old nephew was that he was able to get two because he simply could not settle on just 2 flavors, he needed 3!
The entire time we were together, Nicola never stopped talking, engaging, informing or answering our questions. When our tour ended back at our hotel where he dropped us off, I actually felt like I spent 3+ hours with a close friend, not a tour guide.
The only thing that could have made the night better was if the tour went longer. If Nicola is any representation of the company and the product they provide, I imagine each guide is wonderful, but I think you’ll be the luckiest if you get him for yours! I can’t wait to return to Rome with a friend who has never been so I can do it all over again!
