DO NOT BOOK! Impossible to find! They give the wrong information for the meeting point. Called Viator for help and the tour operator was unreachable. Was not able to locate the bus and ended up getting a refund.

This review does not reflect what happened, and we want future guests to have the facts. The tour ran exactly as scheduled that evening. Our bus was at the meeting point on Piazza dei Cinquecento well before departure, our Box Office on the same square was open, and every other guest booked on the same departure found us and boarded without difficulty. The meeting point information is correct: it is the same address and the same instructions that guests use to find us every single evening. It is true that, for a few minutes that evening, we were unable to answer Viator's calls because of a technical issue on our side. We regret that, and it has been fixed. But the service was there, on time, at the place stated on your booking. You received a full refund for a tour that departed as planned. Telling other travellers that we give "wrong information" and that we are "impossible to find" is simply not accurate. Trips to Rome

Challenge to find pickup spot. Directions provided were not accurate. One older man working that evening was very unhelpful and curt when we had questions about which bus was ours. Other tour operators were helpful in at least telling us we were not on their tour, and trying to help get us in the right direction. I wish we had booked with one of those tours instead. The prerecorded narration was mediocre. Reception was poor.

Piazza dei Cinquecento is a busy square where several tour companies stop, and we understand it can be hard to find the right bus. Ours is the orange open-top bus, the only one of that colour on the square, and our hostess waits right beside it. From now on every guest also receives a map before departure showing exactly where we are. As the bus does not stop along the route, the audio is designed as a short introduction to each landmark while the views do the rest; we have shared your comments on reception with our team. We hope future guests will feel the difference.
