Great experience. The wine tasting was excellent, with both professional and humorous staff. Great selection of wine and snacks. A big shout out to the sommelieres, they are amazing!

This was a terrible experience, I didn't receive a text telling me to attend the dinner first and when we arrived after the boat tour the restaurant was closed. Leaving us out $200 for the meal and seeking an alternative for our dinner. I read the email after returning to our hotel.

We thought the wine tasting was during the boat ride. However, It all worked out since the boat tickets were valid before or after the tasting.
The wine tasting experience was excellent; quality, atmosphere, and overall experience. Highly recommend the Fabulous Wine Bar!

Regarding the fact that you thought the tasting would be done onboard the boat, we don't understand where you read it since the description of the experience you booked is very detailed. In the description of the experience, it is written several times that the Food Tasting with wine pairing is done at "Fabullus Wine Cellar", which is a wine Cellar placed in an ancient Roman cistern of the 1st century AD and located in the heart of Trastevere in the historic center of Rome.

The advertisement was for a world class food and boat tour. But what you actually get is a pontoon boat, no food, and go from one drop off to the next. There is no tour, you are just on a boat for a few minutes. The food tasting is not on the boat or near the boat launch. It's in a completely different location and we didn't get the address for that location until the morning of the tour when we were already headed to the launch off point. . The whole thing was completely deceptive and a complete waste of funds. I would have had a better time if I had walked and stopped at different cafes along the way. The pictures are deceptive. Completely not what you will actually get.

Take a Hop On Hop Off cruise on the Tiber River, and let yourself be cradled and experience a moment, immersing yourself in the tranquility that this place can give you. Once on board, head towards the Tiber Island from Castel Sant'Angelo. You will cross the historic center of Rome and admire some monuments and iconic places of the eternal city from a privileged and unique point of view. Once you reach Fabullus Winery, live and share an experience in which food and wine balance each other in a perfect combination of tastes.

When booking this combined tour, the starting time for the food tasting with wine pairing is chosen between the following times: 11:00/13:00/15:00/17:00, or 19:00. This is NOT the starting time for Boat rides.
Punctuality is required to enjoy this experience fully.
The food tasting and wine pairing will occur at the Fabullus wine cellar, Via dell'Arco di San Calisto, 20 Roma.
River Cruise ticket is valid 24 hours from the first embarkation (Hop on, Hop Off).
Cruises run every day between 10 am and 6 pm.
Ticket allows using 4 different embarkation or disembarkation points:
Your ticket is valid for 24 Hours for any departure from 4 stops:
1. Isola Tiberina: Lungotevere Degli Anguillara side
2. Angelo Bridge: Lungotevere Tor Di Nona side
3. Justice Palace: Lungotevere Marzio
4. Popolo Square: Lungotevere In Augusta
Mandatory meeting time for the experience is 10 minutes before the scheduled time.
Late arrivals can only join the group or reschedule if you pay for the activity again. Per "No Show" rules, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Changes to a booking can only be accepted 24 hours before the tour's starting time. In that instance, no refund will be issued.
For the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.

Our Tiber river experience was not the best because of the tour guide confusing the time we were supposed to be ending at our food tasting tour. We were too late riving for the food tasting tour and was told it was sold out, but thankfully management reached out to us and scheduled us for a later time which was convenient for all. Thus are experience was hectic and unforgivable, but in the end we thoroughly enjoyed the food tasting experience.

The river tour was not great. The app explains that it starts at 5 pm but we went to the boat. You have to read the detail and start at Fabuluus wine cellar.
However, the wine and food tasting were sensational! Ginevra was so wonderful and fun, great knowledge and highly personal touch! We loved it!

Had an amazing time! Started with a simple river cruise down the Tiber. There was a little confusion with the boat staff that got cleared up quickly. The views were incredible, and the breeze was so nice for such a hot day.
This was followed by our wine and food pairing experience at Fabullus Wine Cellar. Our host was excellent. I can’t remember her name, but she made the experience so fun and interesting. And we learned to like things that we previously had refused to eat! We went home with a couple small items that we particularly enjoyed.
Will definitely recommend to any friends who visit the city!

"I booked a cruise package that included wine tasting, and I arrived 30 minutes early with my wife and two children. Unfortunately, no one was there. I tried to chat with the host, but there was no response. When I called, the host informed me that the cruise was not available and I could only participate in the wine tasting. This was extremely frustrating, especially since it was our anniversary and I wanted to surprise my wife. Despite trying to remain calm, I was very disappointed. The wine tasting was good, but I was charged $350 for what was supposed to be a full cruise package, which seems unfair. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Even after contacting customer support, no one could provide a resolution. This feels like a scam to me."

1 You booked a wine and food tasting, which mainly includes tasting pork-based cured meats. However, as requested at the time of booking, you did not inform us that you and your family do not eat pork.
2 We contacted you by email, WhatsApp, and SMS. I spoke with you on the phone to give you all the information, informing you about our services and how to arrive on time because you were already late, and we had been waiting for you. (We can prove all attempts to contact you by showing them.)
3 Although we advise against booking for children, you have also booked a wine tasting for your minor children who could not drink the wine.
4 We have sent you the PDF of the voucher you received when booking, which contains all the information you have yet to read.
5 About the river boat service, You showed up late at the boat boarding after closing time.

The wine tasting was a memorable experience. The hostess is very sweet and welcoming, she makes sure you enjoy the experience. I not only learned about Italian wines but discovered their taste, aroma and texture. The ride in the cruise is not so good, the boats are old and not much to see.

The wine and food pairing at Fabbulus Wine Cellar was amazing. The host was wonderful. Wine and food was great too. I would go back to there in a second.
The boat ride was not quite as I expected. Very short.
Most disappointing was the conflicting messages. The Viator reservation indicated to board boat at 5pm. The last boat was at 6pm. The agency that they worked with for wine experience sent a reservation at 5pm and called to tell us we were late and we're going to miss the wine and food experience. We worked it out. But a bit frustrating.
I have always had a great experience with Viator trips. In this case, book directly with the wine cellar. She was amazing!!

Muy mala experiencia, gasté mi dinero ,mal coordinado todo ,perdí el viaje por el rio,te ponen que el punto de encuentro es en un punto al lado del río y cuando estás ahí 15 minutos antes la degustacion es en otro lugar y si tu reserva es para las 5 pm y te vas al otro día tienes que decidir a cual vas porque no te da tiempo a hacer las dos.La muchacha de la degustacion es bien agradable ,tiene un trato exquisito y se esmera porque la entiendas en tu idioma, solo a ella le pongo 5 estrellas ,lo demás es un cero estrella,no lo recomiendo.
