Please advise if your luggage exceeds capacity BEFORE MAKE YOUR RESERVATION as you may require an additional vehicle. Thank goodness for Viator! We were told there was no taxi service at Civitivecchia (port near Rome) and we had not made any other arrangements. Viator came through for us at the last hour! Our driver was so helpful -especially making all the luggage (and wheelchair) fit into his van. Hats off to this company! We wouldn't use any other travel service!!!

I was pleased with both Andres and Manuel who drove us to and from Rome. I was contacted ahead of time to confirm pick up and drop off points and times from both drivers. Both drivers were very professional and courteous, ensuring we had a pleasant ride. With each, they were courteous in allowing me, a female, into the vehicle first with an opened door. Water was supplied on the drive to Rome by Andres. Nice conversation was interchanged, and we were given information about the city along the way. Humorous anecdotes were also shared by the drivers which made it a more pleasant ride experience. Additionally, both transfers were conducted in Mercedes vehicles, which was a very nice luxury addition. I would recommend the transfer service.

Fantastically Expedient Experience

The driver was waiting as we disembarked the cruise ship and assisted with the bags. The ride to the hotel was about 45 minutes and the driver explained some of the historical sites as we drove by them. The ride was comfortable and the vehicle was nice. I would recommend this to all my friends and clients in the future.

I had booked a private transfer through viator and the process was easy. Being who I am I picked the transfer I wanted and called the number to speak to a rep to make sure I was as doing it correctly. She made it very easy. I also emailed the company to confirm. I was able to print a voucher to bring with me. On the directions it said to contact the transfer company 24 hours before we had them scheduled to confirm. I was able to get through to someone who spoke English so that was easy also. We had a scheduled pickup at 10:00am and our driver was running late. So I called and they explained that the pickup before us had arrived late so he ended up picking us up about 45 minutes late. I think you have to expect delays occasionally. We had allowed enough time so we were ok with that. Our driver was great and he had a lot of knowledge and spoke very good English. He was great to talk to. He help d us with our bags and also had a car seat for one of our grandchildren. Would recommend.
