I am an avid runner and was so excited to find this tour! Fabrizio, my running guide, was amazing! He met me at my hotel which is right by the colosseum. We started our run right away. He made sure that we ran at my pace and let me lead when I needed to run or take a break. He was very knowledgeable and we made several stops to take pictures. This was such an amazing way to experience Rome and recommend this to runners of all levels!

Wow! If you run even a little bit, you will enjoy this tour! Our guide, Simone, was so well-versed in everything Rome - his love and knowledge of Rome made the tour even more amazing. So many interesting little spots that we never would have known about otherwise. It was so fun to let someone else worry about the route so we could just enjoy the run! He went at our pace, made sure to get us to a few of Rome’s many water fountains, and provided door to door service with the run. Cannot recommend enough!!

Top notch running tour

I have taken running tours all across the globe and this was the best! Prior to the tour, Dario reached out to confirm our meeting spot and the day of the run, he met me at my hotel at 6:30 AM. It was quite easy (and something I haven’t always experienced during similar experiences). I have been to Rome before so it was nice to see the well known and less known spots around Rome (sun rise over the Roman Forum is amazing!). It was the perfect blend of running and touring - at a pace that was comfortable! I highly recommend this - oh and I got a running gator with a gladiator on it - a perfect way to remember it!

Perfect start to a morning in Rome. Simone was excellent, ran to spots in the city that only locals know. He explained the history of the city and the sights. Definitely one to do even if it’s not your first time in the city

Fabrizio was a fantastic guide with plenty of knowledge. He took us to all the great spots and we covered the best of Rome in 90mins. Good stops along the way, plenty of photo opportunities, beat the crowds and, finishing with the best pistachio Cornetto we'd had all trip. Would highly recommend and, would do on first day of arrival to get your bearings and overview of what you would want to explore further.

Great Running Tour of Rome's Highlights

Claudia, my guide, was great! She was punctual and professional. We started our run in the Circus Maximus and from there we hit al of Romas highlights: Palatine Hill, The Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, the garden of the oranges, and many others. It was great to see all of them before the crowds arrived. Claudia provided a little explanation of each monument and answered any questions I had. At the end of the run, we stopped by a little cafe and had something to drink and eat. Great finish. I would recommend 100% this tour if you are looking to see the highlights of Rome in about an hour an around 6.3 miles.

Early morning run through sites of Rome

I was expecting a run that took me through Rome and I got that and more. Two delightful local runners took me through popular sites and hidden gems, sharing stories and insights. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, we finished with coffee and treats. Would highly recommend.

We booked this run ahead of the Rome Marathon and Sunday and it was amazing! A great way to see all the sights of Rome whilst doing our favourite activity of running! Claudia our guide was so lovely and had loads of fun facts during our run and we had a lovely croissant and coffee to finish! We will do a run tour in every city we visit now as this was amazing!

Great way to see Rome on a business trip

I was visiting Rome for business. As I had little time for tourism, I found Simone and his tour of the highlights of Rome to be a perfect compliment to my business itinerary. We covered 10km at a pace that enabled a lively narration and conversation about the sites, smells and sounds of Rome at daybreak. Simone, a resident and local historian was able to nimbly pick our way through the winding city well before the crowds, cars and motos began clogging the best paths. We had the city to ourselves. For those business people able to squeeze 2 hours of fitness and culture into their agendas, this is an efficient and smart use of your time. Highly recommended.

A great way to see Rome before the crowds. Fabrizio was a wonderful running guide and showed us some lovely spots not on the usual tourist routes including an amazing viewing spot of the city. My friend only started running recently and is still a beginner and Fabrizio was really patient with us and adjusted his pace to accomdate. Would recommend even for beginner runners. Our average pace was about 7min/km

I wasn't going to do a run around Rome but last minute changed my mind and I am really pleased I did. It's such a wonderful city and I can now brag on Strava I've run around many iconic attractions! Fabrizio is such a nice bloke who has lived in Rome all his life so he knows his stuff! As we ran on his route he took me past all the great locations but also showed some that I wasn't aware of and would not have seen had I not come on the run. His English is perfect so no issues there and a quick bite to eat once your done brings an awesome run to an end. We did about 5.5 miles at a steady pace of about 9 min/mile So pleased I changed my mind and packed my trainers, make sure you do!

My wife and I ran with Dario on September 7th, our last day in Rome. 1.) The tour was AMAZING! 2.) Dario is a knowledgeable and very personable guide. We highly recommend running with him! 3.) Do the running tour on your first morning in Rome. Dario will teach you some amazing, largely unknown spots in Rome. He showed us so many cool things that we wish we would have known before our last day. Highly recommend booking this tour!

Trevlig guide tog mig och min fru på en tidig joggingtur genom centrala Rom. De 9 km blev helt magiska. Kanske topp 3 hittills och då har vi ändå upplevt väldigt mycket :)
