I Came, I Posed, I Conquered Rome

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to feel like a celebrity, a mildly lost model, and a glamorous fugitive all at the same time—book this photoshoot. I signed up hoping for a few cute pictures; I left with enough material to convince people I actually vacation professionally. The experience started with my photographer greeting me like we were about to film a perfume commercial. Within minutes, we were strutting through Rome’s iconic streets at night—because nothing says “I’m living my best life” like posing dramatically in front of the Colosseum while tourists eat gelato and silently judge you. The Locations: Absolutely breathtaking. The Trevi Fountain at night looks like a movie set, minus me nearly slipping on a very enthusiastic puddle of fountain splash. The Spanish Steps? Gorgeous, though let’s be honest, 80% of my photos are me pretending I’m not out of breath. And the empty nighttime streets? Perfect for pretending you’re in a romantic European movie—even if your only co-star is your photographer telling you to “chin up but not too up, natural but dramatic, relaxed but powerful.” Easy. The Photographer: A magician with a camera and, apparently, a PhD in Hyping People Up. I’ve never received so many compliments in one hour. At one point I truly believed I was born to model. Ten minutes later, I saw a sneak peek photo and thought, “Oh wait. No… maybe they’re just really good at their job.” They guided every pose—from “walk like you’re headed to steal someone’s heart” to “look off into the distance like your gelato just betrayed you.” Honestly, iconic. The Results: When I got the photos, I had only one reaction: WHO IS THIS SUPERMODEL AND WHAT HAVE THEY DONE WITH ME? Professional lighting + nighttime Rome + a photographer who knows exactly how to angle your face = pure wizardry. I look like I belong on the cover of a fashion magazine titled Clueless but Chic in Rome. Overall: 10/10 would recommend. It’s fun, flattering, slightly chaotic, and absolutely magical. If you want to feel like the star of your own glamorous Italian movie—or just need new profile pictures for the next five years—this is the experience for you.
