The meeting address is incorrectly listed on the site and we were confused for 30min waiting for our tour. Tried contacting the tour company with little communication on their part. The tour company said via the messaging system through Viator to go to a space near the Colosseum for further instructions, which we were about to do. Out of luck we were able to find our actual meeting location. It seems like the tour company outsources the tour guide, who was nice but with the headsets provided (by the Vatican) made it difficult to understand due to the poor mic quality. I really wouldn't suggest this group to friends or family.

Not as advertised. We waited on lines just like everyone else. Tour ran over by about 40 minutes and I didn’t have time to see St. Peter’s Square or Basilica.

2024 Rome vacation experience

Not happy with our tour guide. She was late. We had our tour scheduled at 2:45pm and didn't get started until 3:30pm. 1st tour guide left and we were introduced to 2nd tour guide. Did not appreciate being rushed on our tour. Most memorable was visiting the Sistine chapel.

Our guide was a No Show . Guide never showed up. No contact but was later told by another tour operator that our guide got sick

Our tour guide was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable, funny, and kind. The Vatican is beautiful! You are allowed to take pictures most everywhere but the Sistine Chapel. Bring your water bottle and a hand held fan, it’s very warm in there.

You canceled our tour to the Sistine chapel and the Vatican museum and we’re only in Rome for one day so I really appreciate that and thanks for emailing us and telling us you were going to do that you didn’t, the guide that was there was freaking out. He was also mad and did not know how to handle the situation.
