Our driver was kind and accommodating making sure we were comfortable, asked if we needed breaks, and made sure we had water. Our tour guide was entertaining, made sure we were all included asking us questions and made sure we were comfortable. This was the best tour out of all the tours we took during our trip to Italy. I would highly recommend this tour. When we come back to Italy we hope we can book most of our tours with this company.

Our driver was so nice and accommodating. We had an early start. He provided croissants and water. The driver really made the trip special. Our guide was knowledgeable and showed us a lot.

The service was truly exceptional. The driver, Stephano, knew the drive was 2 hours plus. He provided water and pastries as we started the long drive. He took the time for coffee and personal needs stops as a priority, which were very welcome. Stephano is a 5 star plus driver and assistant for these long duration (12 hours) tours. We have mobility issues, so Stephano ensured that we started our tour from the stadium to avoid that long walk up the hill and thousands of tourists at Pompeii. The guide, Anna, was one of the best guides we have ever had. We travel the world and truly appreciate a guide who can answer very historical questions. I am an amateur archeologist and was impressed by Anna's knowledge of both Pompeii and Herculaneum. Anna helped my wife above and beyond the call of duty. If you are looking for a five star plus team for a tour of Pompeii and Herculaneum, this is your team. Over the years we have had awesome service from Viator. This team was the best. Our tour guide, Leonardo, brought the towns of both Pompeii and Herculaneum to life. He is knowledgeable and willingly shares everything he knows. He found ways to avoid the crowds, and was still able to get us to all the highlights. He is amazing. We also appreciated the skills of our driver, Emanuel. In addition to getting us there and back again (from Rome), he also recommended an excellent restaurant for lunch and made reservations for us. What a great day we had.
