Worth the money and time!

This was the highlight of our trip! Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius was more than we could have hoped for: grueling hike in the heat wave with our expert guide ended with the most spectacular view at the top! Archaeologist tour guide at Pompeii ruins was engaging and full of fun stories about the buried city. Would definitely recommend during cooler months and should wear sturdy hiking shoes and water bottle. The bus picked us up in Rome at an easily identifiable restaurant where we met our wonderful guide. This was worth the money and time!!

This day trip is really great if you like history, nature or having a mini adventure. Just make sure to wear comfortable shoes.

Really amazing experience, we were buzzing afterwards. Guides were so informative! We enjoyed all of it but Vesuvius was the best part! We didn’t know this but you can book direct with ‘the tour guy’. Only part of the tour I would suggest adding/changing is to add time to look round the gift store at Pompeii.
